Thanks for the review. This is areally interesting model. I'd also prefer a less common color, even though red fits nicely. The curves are flattering and mimic the shape of a real Vespa very well (based on pictures, not a real model).

Thanks for the review. I'm not a football fan, so I see this set in a different perspective. There are some interesting parts in large quantities as well as interesting building techniques to create various angled shapes. So far the most interesting stadium.

Thanks for the review. I'm not convinced with this set. I like some of the Mario sets, but mostly for the interesting parts selection. Here, I was surprised to see the new element as a backpack/vacuumer. It's fit for Mario, but feels a bit Duplo given the size. Would be interesting to see it used somewhere else.

Great choice of the minifig version of Gerald. You also did a great job of building a background for your MOC. The brick-built ship looks interesting, perhaps even more than the unsuccessful proposal to the mermaid.

Impressive. Specifically, I like how you left the studs exposed as it really shows off the organic shape of the bird. It's not easy to capture it and you did a great job. Congrats.

The structure and the shape of the castle is impressive. However, it lacks detail on those large plain walls. Have you considered adding plant vines or any more details? Personally, when I think of a castle, I also see lots of greenery. While there's nothing wrong with your castle, it just feels odd to have this interesting structure built on a 'concrete' slat of tiles.

Thanks for the review. Not being familiar with the original Mario, I judge the Mario thrme from a LEGO fan perspective. I find the set average with some neat and funny elements (the gate)/characters (looking at you Polterpup). The price is expected for a licence theme. Hovewer overall the set looks interesting an has good playability, so I'd prefer buying it instead of some others.

Beautiful. The colorscheme is perfect. The foliage is neat and the details, such as a fallen log and low shrubs make it look alive. My only complaint would be the yellow faces. They look odd in this natural colored environment. It's more obvious on the close-up photo with the yellow bandana.

In addition to an admiring castle, your parts organization in the background is equally fascinating. The esthetics of the castle are perfect, the tall and lean structure with a bit of dark magic. I'm not a big fan of the landscape, though. The orange reminds me of lava and fire, and the lands are a bit too green for that. Or, perhaps there should be more variation of orange-brown shades. Despite this, it's a great MOC. Well done.

As always, displaying a recognizable style. The castle looks great. My only complaint at this point would be that it would be great to see more of your builds together. Have you considered making a larger layout with various buildings and landscape? I'm sure it would look great.

To add my share of minimalistic experience with light kits. I recently got Briksmax's kit for Police Station. I have been contemplating about getting a sort of light kit to include in MOCs, especially for buildings to reveal some of the interior details. First off, I am very inexperienced, so this most likely had a big impact on my experiment with the given light kit. I did a quick search prior to putting the kit together only to find a little available info on what should be kept in mind when assembling a kit. Those small and delicate wires are prone to damage while connecting to an expansion board. Paying attention to all this, and given the (in my opinion) very small pictures of wire placement, it took me around 4 hours to wire up a modular, only to find out it wasn't working. Since Briksmax is a one-circuit kit, it's challenging to find a problematic connection, as it could be one of the first wires. So, it takes some time to carefully check every connection while dismantling it. In the end, I found 3 loose connections where the tiny wires were not properly inserted in the connector. I have no idea how it happened, but it did. Luckily, I was able to order an extra set of connectors. Despite this not-so-great first experience, I am thinking of getting more lights, most likely individual and not modular light kits. Based on your review, Lightailing kit forms multiple circuits which might be better (and easier to identify the problematic circuit if not working). However, it is also more chaotic with so many wires loosely hanging around. It might be just me, but to me, it feels that the black twisted wires are thinner than the white ones from Lightailing. Overall, thanks for this review and for providing more info on the various light kits.

Nice review. I'm not a fan of the set though, as it's clearly oriented to kids and play action. I like the color scheme the most, and some of the temple details. The sea serpent feels too small, and could easily be more monstrous. The light aqua mantay ray is interesting though.

The simplest tool to use for designing mosaic is the Bricklink Stud.io. But as @makushima wrote, it takes more than a software to make an end product like this. Speaking from my experience, it takes a well-selected photo to start with (right size, color contrast), then get the basic shape in a digital software (I use Stud.io), and only then the real work begins of getting the right colors for shading and contours. It's far from being easy as 1-2-3, and voila. It takes time to plan well, so the majority of the work is done before building it. Back to the mosaic, the color palette you used is great, the shading stands out nicely. Nice work!

I'm not familiar with the Aachen cathedral, but this MOC is interesting enough without knowing the real-life architectural gem. It's a beautiful architectural model. All those curved shapes, multiple angles, and an interesting geometry make the model stand out.

I'm in the same boat. I like the set for its interesting geometry, but that's it. For my purpose, seeing a set review satisfies my curiosity. As above, I wouldn't mind building a set like this, but I don't know what I could you the set for. It's not interesting as parts pack, it's too big for a display piece, not really eye-catching. Perhaps for a football fan, but I still don't see a typical football fan with fancy shelving displaying a set like this. I admit, I'm not a target audience for this set, and I can't really imagine the target audience for it. In my view, the most interesting detail is its structure, the angled seating area, and the curved shape. But then this is something you can look-up online in the digital instructions to satisfy curiosity. Strictly from an architectural perspective, it's built true to the real model in a much smaller scale. I wonder what TLG's idea behind these football stadiums is. Nevertheless, thanks for doing this review.

It's a neat little set also for the non-coffee-drinking AFOLs. I find your review really fair and realistic. While many would love a highly intricate and detailed set as a GWP, there's a limit to what can be done. I like it for it's simplicity and additional play feature for town displays. On the other hand, it's a great starting point for modification.

This is a really sweet and cute house. I like its traditional exterior, textured walls and color scheme. The inner corner with the entrance makes the building more interesting. The tiny garden on the side is lovely, too. The back of the building looks bare, which is sort of acceptable for official modulars which are marketed mostly with the front. Since your house looks well also from the side, adding some details to the back would make it even better.

Great review. I was sold on the Polar Bear & Gift Pack ornaments and bought them when I first saw them in a store. I'm not a big fan of decorating for holidays, but I really like these ornaments, and plan to use them during the holidays.

I made this little landscape scene for a virtual teambuilding of local LUG. The challenge was to plan and build a model within a 2-week period, and provide details on the number of parts included in the model and approximate time. I almost managed to count all parts included here, and the final number stopped at 800 (give or take 10) parts. Since I was counting while building, I'm pretty sure I missed some or double-counted other parts. Time-wise I wasn't paying enough attention to the clock, but all together I spent less than 3 hours. I know, a lot, but mostly I was looking for specific small parts in my half-sorted collection. I recently got this couple of elephants and wanted to include them in a MOC to justify the order. Another challenge was to build an acacia tree, as I find its specific shape very fascinating. A slightly different angle might reveal more details.

Perfect sculpturing! I like the exposed studs on the back of the bird as it creates a bit more texture. It looks very organic and real. How did you plan it?

Beautiful building. A different style and color combination make it stand out. The dome is built using those odd baloon parts, that was a surprise for me. It works well with the color. My favourite detail are the flower beds in front of the house. The cacti look georgous, especially the little "gear-like" with flowers.

Nice! Black is hard to photograph, and I really wish you had pictures showing off the beautiful black facade of the ground floor. It stands out from the building and is nicely decorated with various parts to create an interesting pattern. An interesting choice of LEGO business, perhaps not common, but it works well.

Amazing architecture. I'm always fascinated with your MOCs, they're full of color and interesting design. The raised terrace is a nice touch to add more variety to the buildings. Well done!
