  1. I like it very much!!!
  2. Maybe she is working in research in Spain
  3. Friday I built the Cave and as I have "some" grey Spare parts I upgraded/expanded it a "bit" I hope you like it
  4. It's like my upgraded Friends go to mall car but more upgraded
  5. Just the three I want! As soon as they are available in Spain, I gonna buy them.
  6. Instructions please!!!
  7. €70 sets are hard to sell in Spain even for Christmas. Due to it the malls and shops have to do several promotional offers for selling them. A €185 set, directly is not going to be find in shops. Only some hobby stores are going to offer it and not for €185, but for €200 approx I don't know if finally I'm going to buy it, but if I do, I see me looking for it in German online shops.
  8. Thanks for the info.
  9. I bought the base plate in a shop that sells lego sets and spare parts. It's the closest of an Official LEGO Shop / Pick a brick that we can have in Spain. I paid for the base plate €3,50 and seeing its size, I think it's a good price. I don't know where the base plate comes from. Anyone knows which set is it from? The LEGO Town doors and windows are from a flea market, I buy a bag with yellow parts and another with red parts form €5 each. The 2 bags contain some interesting vintage parts.
  10. I'm stuck in the 90s. I hope that with some practice I can come back to the XXI century
  11. Two cottages near the lake A red house inspired into 6390 Main Street A cloth shop (men suits) I know, I'm stuck in the 90s.
  12. Two cottages near the lake
  13. I have bought it but I don't know what to say. The building is really poor, and the alternative models are ridiculous. It's not fair to compare it with a modular building, but I want to avoid to compare it with the bike shop and cafe because I paid €42 for it and I paid €37 for this one. And I think that I build both and I put them together I'm going to be very disappointed.
  14. The official LEGO shop prices for Spain are prohibitive. If I buy them from a German online shop I would have it for 20% less and in less shipping time (one week). LEGO shop ships to Spain from German and the package in economic shipment takes 2 weeks to arrive.
  15. Some prices seen around the Net: €120 for the hotel and €35 for the junior family house In the line of the last prices revealed by Lego, a bit expensive for Southern European economies.
  16. I only buy used set in a shop in the town I have my job. And in a flea market in Barcelona. In both case for the reason usually exposed, the possibility of checking the set face to face. But even so you can get some surprises when you arrive home and do a depth review. Due to it, the price has to be very very interesting. I'm relatively new to LEGO collecting. I hope that when I become a veteran, not be obsesed with an old set and pay a fortune even being used
  17. If you are building a city in a realistic palette, some elements in bright color, fit well (if you don't want to use the word acceptable). A lot of them, make a city looks unreal. I don't know all the Towns of Western countries of the world, but in the ones I know there are no many pink, purple, lime buildings. I express my opinion into an AFOL point of view. For children, all should be acceptable and nothing should cut their creativity. English is not my first language, and I'm sorry if somebody has misunderstood my words.
  18. The best of city square was the play mat (that unfortunately is not included). I'm not interested into the Tram. Due to it, I think I can replicate de buildings (except the green Futuron of course) with my bricks or with only few pick a brick purchases.
  19. Just playing in some variations
  20. Fortunately for male city fans, the new Friends sets include a lot of white and tan. Dark purple and light-blue is acceptable in the right percentage. Light pink looks fine with tan. Bright pink, IMO, doesn't fit with anything. If not, we can use our stock to change it to other color that fits better with our city. I'm agree, we need "profiled bricks" for corners and for odd number wide walls.
  21. I'm only interested in the 2 smaller of diving and the starter set of space. A lot of money saving that I can spend in Friends, Junior and Creator sets
  22. In the Town I have my job, there are some "old" two/three floors buildings that the ground floor has been transformed into a shop. Some of them have kept the old style, but others have been rented by franchised stores and have restyled the ground floor facade into a modern look creating an style contrast between the the ground floor and the other floors and roof.
  23. That means no sales in Spain. Because no hypermarkets and common toy shops are going to order it. And their distribution is going to be reduced to hobby shops and few toys shops chains that overpriced Lego sets. And at the end who want it is going to buy it online out of the country paying huge shipping costs. I would prefer TLG has splited the city square set into 3 €70-90 sets because this would make it more accessible and affordable (seasonal discounts). But probably, splited you can see more clear how overpriced the set is.
  24. Inspired in the coming soon LEGO Junior 10686 - Family House
  25. Last days I was working on these two: I was working on the roof some day ago, and today I made a quick preliminary build of the ground floor. This version of the farm tries to take profit of the additional bricks bag of the set and I only added few parts of my stock. I think the family house would be a good add-on to these two and an incentive to work a little more in improving them.
