It looks like the chandelier hangs on the middle floor, so I'd guess beds on the top and bottom floor. With the 2011 version I made the top floor the daytime configuration with chairs instead of beds.

Were the price points confirmed? Could someone let me know which page number they are on please? The search function is showing no results for me right now :(

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors, Wishlists and Discussion
Seaber replied to RandomSniper109's topic in LEGO Licensed
It would be nice to see places missing from the first two waves from films 1-4. Privet Drive - The living room, cupboard under the stairs, two bedrooms upstairs. Vernon, Petunia, Dudley, Marge, Harry. The Burrow - Like the 2010 set, but updated. Molly, Arthur, Fred, George, Ginny, Ron, Harry. Chamber of Secrets - Myrtle's Bathroom, with the corridor with the 'Enemies of the Heir' graffiti, with the chamber underneath. Harry, Ron, Ginny, Lockhart, Myrtle, Tom, Basilisk, Fawkes. The Second Task - A stand, with the lake ruins. Harry, Cedric, Krum, Fleur, Ron, Hermione, Crouch. The Third Task - A bit of maze with a small stand. Harry, Cedric, Krum, Fleur, Maxime, Karkaroff. -
Hagrid's Hut looks like it could be modded with parts from your own collection, you only need to build three walls and roof sections to close it up, and extend the floor. I think I'll add a bed if I can fit it in. I want to change the Hormtail's tail to the dinosaur tail parts, hopefully that'll improve the look. The 2005 one was horrible, this one I hope has potential. The Clocktower is wonderful. The lack of the pendulum is made up for by good sized rooms. The 2004 set had a few 8x8 rooms that were really not much use. A very neat Library and the first ever Hospital Wing look fantastic, Dumbledore's Office and the Prefect's bathroom are small but with great parts.

I really like the sound of these sets, and the omissions do sound like good CMF figures (Pomfrey, Yule Ball Pavati, Padma and Cho) and as we don't have a Myrtle for the Prefects bathroom, or a Lockhart for the DADA room, or any Ginny, I think a Chamber of Secrets set is still possible. I know it's not based on the same scene, but it would have been nice to get Norbert in Hagrid's Hut as well, or maybe Lucius Malfoy as he has a scene there in CoS. Like everyone else says, it's a shame we're not getting Fang. This isn't a criticism, but I wonder if Lego have perhaps gone through the Harry Potter vehicles too quickly. The second wave in has already seen the Flying Car, Hogwarts Express and Knight Bus, along with the carriage from FB. That only leaves the Baubaton Carriage and Durmstrang ship from GoF, Hogwarts carriage from OotP and Hagrid's motorbike and the Gringotts carts from PS and DH.

The four Champions have five major outfits throughout GoF - their school uniform, each of the three tasks and the Yule Ball. This is a summary of what we know is available, including the 2005 line if no temporary minifigure has been released.. Harry - Uniform, First Task, Yule Ball, Second Task (2005), Third Task (2005). All five outfits available. Cedric - Uniform (torso available as Susan Bones in 75954), First Task, Third Task. Missing Second Task. Fleur - First Task, Yule Ball. Missing Uniform, Second and Third Task. Krum - First Task, Yule Ball, Second Task (2005). Missing Uniform and Third Task.

If we're getting Yule Ball Harry, Ron, Hermione, Krum and Fleur, there are a few prominent characters from that scene missing. Cedric could make use of the CMS Waiter torso. Cho, Ginny and the Patil twins are much harder to find alternatives for due to their unique dresses. Neville and Roger Davies (Fleur's partner) have very similar outfits, but I haven't found an extant torso print yet. That's before we get into the minor characters and adults...

MacNair is in the ministry battle in OotP. This list looks pretty good so far, hoping for a good calender and a CMS next year too! One thing at a time though :)

Is that a new TIE Pilot helmet in the TIE Fighter set? If it is it may nudge it into the 'buy' category. -
Are there blue legs with boots available for Bespin guards?

In the UK, I'm weighing up whether I want to either: a. Buy The Great Hall and get a free Diagon Alley. b. Buy Diagon Alley from eBay when it goes down in price and wait for a sale on TGH.

The calender on Instagram in is German, so I might have this wrong, but it looks like Diagon Alley will be available from 5-21 November with €80 purchases.

Has anyone got two Whomping Willow sets and combined them into one big tree? Wondering if it's worth just getting a second tree on top of the set. Thanks :)

Very cool! Could you upload a photo with just the minifigs? It's hard to tell which ones you've done so far, but I have a few purist ones which may be helpful :) -
There are a few external parts of Hogwarts that are different enough to come out, Clock Tower, Astronomy Tower and the Greenhouses are the main ones, with areas like the Room of Requirement, Hospital Wing, Library, Myrtle's Bathroom and various classrooms to fill up the above ground rooms.
-
The good thing about all four figures is that they're a character that could have another outfit (in Snape's case that figure is already out!) Hooch wears normal robes during the flying lesson and adds a hat in the Great Hall scenes. Umbridge has loads of pink outfits as well as the Wizengamot outfit and Slughorn also wears a brown robe and hat sometimes. So yes, it's possible she'll come in another set :)

The Knight Bus! Plus potentially more of Hogwarts like the clock tower. It was fine at the time but looks very dated now.

Thestral, Thestral wings, Occamy/Thunderbird head, Niffler, Nagini and Scabbers doesn't seem too stingy to me. Crookshanks and Fang could well come out in future, I just hope Mrs. Norris will come out as she only really comes with Filch. Maybe as part of a Chamber of Secrets set, or with a Yule Ball Filch :D I don't really follow Fantastic Beasts, so I don't know what would be appropriate creatures for that series, but the Basilisk, Fluffy and Buckbeak are the only films 1-3 beasts I think need an update. There are lots of creatures that have never appeared but I think listing them would be wishlisting.

Anyone in the UK going to Smyths today? It's probably the Journey to Hogwarts polybag they're giving away but it would be nice to have it confirmed!

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Seaber replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would have loved a new Leia hair mold and change the Hoth version for the escape outfit. It would have been nice to have 3PO on Chewie's back or an Imperial Officer as well. However the set looks excellent. The 2003 set has aged badly, but was a good set when it came out. This is a worthy successor. -
Amongst other things I'd love: Herbology outfits for Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Quiddich robes for Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Black robes like the CMS Harry/Ron/Hermione/Dean for Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Only one varient for each is needed though.
-
Has anyone in the UK seen the CMS in Asda? They seem to only have the Aragog set in my local one, it's the place I've found it most easy to feel packets in the past to get the figures I want.
