  1. That's the piece I used for mine. Is the Dumbledore hair the new one from the Great Hall set? Where is that info from? Really looking forward to them!
  2. Looks great, have you tried adding rocks behind the pillars, or would that make the moc too dark? :)
  3. That's one reason I'd love the Polyjuice trio in the CMF - three really easy ways to get Slytherin robes. I've plenty of Gryffindor now, as well as quite a few Ravenclaw jumpers after buying a lot of Cho figs. Still only one Slytherin and one Hufflepuff though!
  4. Harry/Goyle, goblet Ron/Crabbe, ladle Hermione/Cat, cauldron Pomfrey, skelegrow Lockhart (duelling club), pixie Lucius, cane and diary Justin, snake
  5. I'm really looking forward to a full list of figures being released! Looking at the Sprout figure, I remembered we are supposed to get a greenhouse in the Astronomy Tower set. We only got one once before in the 2005 set, so I checked back over the history of the theme and made a list of Hogwarts rooms/areas/features that since 2018 have not featured in minifig scale sets. PS - Philosopher's Stone Chambers, Troll Bathroom, Library CoS - Duelling Club, Slytherin Common Room, Chamber of Secrets PoA - Divination, Lupin's DADA classroom GoF - Trophy Room OotP - Umbridge Office HBP - Room of Requirement (Hidden Things) DH - Room of Requirement (Dormitory) Aside from those, there aren't many specific places left seen in the films - Charms, Transfiguration, Myrtle's Bathroom to name a few. The first thing I noticed was while Sprout, Moody, Hooch, Dumbledore and Slughorn all have rooms ready for them straight away from their CMF/Brictober packets (as would a Madam Pomfrey if one was to come out in the CMF), Umbridge, Boggart Snape, Trelawney and to an extent Flitwick don't have a natural 'home' in these sets yet. The second thing I noticed was the majority of those rooms are from the earlier films. Aside from the PS chambers/CoS room, most could appear in a Whomping Willow side set.
  6. My firth thought was fake, so I didn't bother posting it. Not so sure now...
  7. Always enjoy your updates! We're all of those in one dots set? It looks great, I may have to try something similar at some point :)
  8. Exactly. The Hogwarts Express could push £200 with it being a licenced theme and maybe including two coaches, the Knight Bus is a third higher than the Routemaster so perhaps £150 odd. The Ford Anglia just under a hundred. Am I right in thinking the Aragog set is the only one retired so far?
  9. I suppose you could make the argument the MoM has D2C size potential, but nowhere near the £300 mark. Perhaps a large Hogwarts Express (like Emerald Night), Knight Bus (like the Routemaster) or Flying Ford Anglia (like the Fiat 500) would be possible, but only the train could be minifig scale.
  10. If this information is true (no disrespect to the potential leaker, but we've all been burned with fake leaks before) this potential DA set would come in at roughly 5,500 pieces at that price point. The 2011 DA was just under 2,000, but it must be said sets are getting more smaller pieces today. That would suggest about four or five shops, probably the ones from the recent micro set, or perhaps Leaky Cauldron or Borgin and Burke's. If this was all true, it'd make sense to release in this wave as WWW makes it's debut in HBP, the only major scenes that take place in Diagon Alley in the DH movies are the Gringotts escape, which is mostly underground anyway.
  11. That's really helpful, thanks! Another project to start!
  12. Has anyone bricklinked the Republic Dropship and/or the AT-OT? I'm wondering of one or the other is easy to do or if there are some expensive parts. Thanks!
  13. Yule ball varients we're missing - Cho, Pavarti, Padma, Ginny, McGonagall, Angelina, Mad Eye, Karkaroff (although we've not had another version of him either since the reboot. Most of the male characters wear tuxedos with their shirts and ties varying between white and black, so they aren't the most interesting. Neville, Dean, Seamus, Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Nigel and Roger Davies are the male characters we're missing. Flitwick has a double brested waistcoat which is more interesting and Fred has something more outlandish, I assume George wears the same but I can't check right now. If the Advent Calender is Yule Ball themed, Ron and Harry take of their jackets, but there isn't a varient for Hermione. Lego has a history of putting twins/siblings/similar characters in the same CMF wave, so the Weasley or Patil twins could work for WW series two.
  14. A very handsome figure!
  15. I'm not sure the Cursed Child is covered by Lego's Licence, but it's a play that is only on in the UK, USA and Australia at the moment, so doesn't have the worldwide reach of the films.
  16. This is my update of the 2004 Hogwarts 4757 set, focusing on the Clocktower section. I made this just after the 2011 wave, and its been sitting in my cupboard ever since, so it still has the sand green turrets of the time. I filled in the gaps in the walls, added the Clocktower Courtyard and made the whole thing tan rather than mixed with light grey. One of the Courtyard turrets has fallen off, otherwise it's as I left it. I tried to add foliage but was low on pieces back then, so only got the tree in the background. I wish I'd tiled the floor and covered the roof of the cloisters with tiles to get rid of all the studs too. The back has the wooden staircases of the original, but they're now fixed in place and the classrooms have been romoved. The middle floor was intended to be the level where you can see the clock workings, the upper level would have lead to the Hospital Wing corridor and Hospital Wing. I'll be breaking this up soon and will be using the pieces to make a different part of Hogwarts. I never finished it, as you can see there are some substituted colours in there, and I'd now rather have a larger Clocktower and Courtyard as it's my favourite part of the castle.
  17. I would also go for that new green brick guy hair for Newt, but I don't have any interest in FB to be honest, I have just got the sets and figures for the parts. The first WW CMF series could be broken down into the following character types: Students - 10 (Harry appears twice) Teachers - 4 Villains - 1 Creatures - 1 FB - 6 I reckon with the possible postponement we'll be heading to another 22 figure series, but with fewer student characters and more villains and probably order members and Wizarding World characters. Possibly muggles like Mrs Figg (squib, but you know what I mean) or Aunt Marge as we got Jacob before, for variety.
  18. Only Pops and Jaraldine left already! I still need Red Leader
  19. Thanks and thanks! Unless I want the £/$70 set I'm not sure there is enough Star Wars stuff I want to get me over the free gift threshold
  20. Ahh thanks. Is the spring wave D-0, the helmets and mando brickhead?
  21. Will the new AAT, Jedi Star fighter, etc sets be out in time for any May 4th events there may be?
  22. Oh yes, I like them!
  23. I meant did they appear in the CW series, but you answered my question anyway, thanks :)
  24. I really liked to 2015 AAT, it's what persuaded me to buy some prequel sets again. That's probably going to be a buy for me, especially as I'm getting into TCW again. Were there ever CIS-coloured MTTs?
  25. https://www.flickr.com/photos/137652851@N07/albums/72157673982144566/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/127927778@N04/albums/72157682390341376/ Here are two galleries I really like, neither are from me though. The first really reminds me of the old line, probably cause of all the yellow figs. The second has lots of lights and the user has various versions of Hogwarts in different galleries. I'm working on a Hogwarts about two times the size of 70143, as I don't have the space or bricks to build it in real life. I'll get some images up when I get a new laptop. Here is a screenshot I took last year.
