That Winky is so good! I might have to do something similar. Do you have a picture of your Umbridge with the old hair piece that's a bit brighter than the one in the previous page? I'm wondering if it looks better than the new hair.

Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors, Wishlists and Discussion
Seaber replied to RandomSniper109's topic in LEGO Licensed
I reckon one of the three CMF series will be a Wizarding World series, and I reckon if those four sets are real and are Wizarding World ones they would be roughly films 1-4 with perhaps a flavour of 5-6 to tease a larger wave in the second half of the year. -
I wish the other three houses had versions of the Gryffindor robes, your Slytherin and Ravenclaw ones look great! My Ravenclaw students (l-r) - Penelope Clearwater, Cho Chang, Marcus Belby, Michael Corner, Luna Lovegood, Terry Boot, Padma Patil and Anthony Goldstein. I'd like to add Roger Davies and Marietta Edgecombe when I get more torsos. Grown up Weasleys - Molly and Arthur are the same as their 2010 figures except Arthur has Obi-Wan Kenobi's Episode III hair. The middle three are Bill (hopefully we get an official figure of him), Percy in his Ministry robes and Charlie, fresh back from Romania in Dragon handling gear. James and Lily Potter. James' face is the 2010 Harry one with the scar rubbed off. Vernon And Dudley Dursley with Mr and Mrs Mason from Chamber of Secrets. Petunia and Marge are in the works, I'm just waiting on their faces and Petunia's hair.

It doesn't look too bad, Fudge/Snape/Hux's legs are on Harry and Ron. It lines up better on Harry but doesn't look bad on Ron. Hermione has the legs from Kylo Ren, but the print is slightly too narrow. Still, they all look quite good :)

Using the Brickforge Centaur piece I've made the four named Centaurs in the Forbidden Forest colony. Firstly, I based Firenze on his appearance in the Lego Years 1-4 video game. I used an older face without pupils to make the face look more distinct from the human faces, and more natural looking hair. I got a bit disappointed in this, and tried to make my centaurs look more like the horse-faced ones in OotP. Firenze in the PS film looks quite different to the Centaurs seen in OotP, but one thing they have in common is the large pointed ears. I thought the Orc hairpiece in Medium Dark Flesh worked well for this, and I had a few heads in MDF that would work okay for a Centaur. The bodies are Tonto from the Lone Ranger turned back to front, with Firenze having the dusty torso from the mine set to show his appearance after he was attacked by the rest of the herd. The quivers are on the horse part of the body as they are too long to fit on the human part. To give a bit of variation, I gave them the body colours they had in the books - Firenze is palomino (creamy coloured) with the most youthful face, Ronan chestnut brown with the saddest face and Bane is black with the most angry face. Magorian is also chestnut coloured in the books, but I only had a grey body left. I gave him the proudest face of the lot as he's the leader of the colony. I'd like to get a reddish brown and dark tan centaur body to add a few more to the herd, with the reddish brown body going to Magorian and the grey and dark tan bodies being two of the unnamed Centaurs in OotP, but I'm also out of Orc hair, MDF faces and Tonto bodies! I might add beard pieces to Firenze and Bane too.

I only recently updated my Star Wars gigs to flesh tones from yellow, Harry Potter a few years before that, so yellow figs are fine! Torsos are the most difficult parts to match up IMO, but with themes like Lone Ranger and the Hobbits from LOTR, there are plenty of useful parts for Potter around :) Brilliant! I wish Lego used that hairpiece and printed hair on à la Filch. Sprout looks good with short legs, she would look great with a unique hair/hat mold, but your version is great with the available pieces :) I have a few more customs to show. Little Whinging postman from Gof book and the King's Cross Guard from PS, Cos and DH. The postman is based on the Royal Mail uniform, the guard would look better with a dark blue hat, but I'm happy with it for now. Dedalus Diggle and Borgin. I'm not sure on Diggle's face, but Borgin's is a lucky find, Barret's from the Lone Ranger sets. One of the newer top hat styles would be better for Diggle though, and maybe Moody's hair in brown would work well for Borgin. The Hogwarts Ghosts WIP. I recently gave them all white/ glow in the dark faces rather than light grey to match the official Nearly Headless Nick. L-R Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore, Fat Friar, Moaning Myrtle, Nearly Headless Nick, Professor Cuthbert Binns, Bloody Baron, Grey Lady. Sir Patrick is the leader of the Headless Hunt in the books, his appearance isn't described, so I just put some parts together for him. Fat Friar looks too dark, but the torso print looks right, his smile is too big though. Myrtle is missing her glasses, and the hair is the wrong colour, ideally the CMS Babysitter hair piece in grey would work for her. Nick has been given a painted ruff which I think looks good but is obviously custom. Binns should have glasses, but I think looks quite simple and works okay. The Bloody Baron would ideally have the new Darth Vader face, or perhaps the sad Nearly Headless Nick one. The Grey Lady needs the Spooky Girl CMS face which I have, but can't find, and a good dress, perhaps from the Weeping Angel. Her hair is also painted, which I don't like doing, but it's better than Dumbledore's new or old style hair pieces.

Very, very cool mod! Can you change the speed faster or slower? Very impressive and accurate :) -

Fluffy is in the Third Floor Corridor, the trapdoor leads to underground chambers. With the Philosopher's Stone chambers, Chamber of Secrets and Slytherin Common Room there are enough opportunities to build below the current sets, but maybe not for future waves so your plain exterior idea works for me. -

True, but neither were Susan Bones or the Trolley Witch. After the obvious major Death Eaters and associates we got in the 2010/11 wave (Malfoys, Wormtail, Bellatrix and Greyback) who need updating and the Pettigrew and Crouch Jnr we got in the last wave and CMS, the Carrows appear in more films than the more prominent Yaxley or Scabior, but as many as Dolohov and Rowle, so are seen quite often. This is the list I made a few months ago, it's not dissimilar from yours! 1. Harry Potter (Goyle disguise with Polyjuice goblet) 2. Ron Weasley (Crabbe disguise with cake) 3. Hermione Granger (Cat disguise with Polyjuice Cauldron) 4. Cho Chang (Quidditch robes with broom and Quaffle) 5. Cedric Diggory (Quidditch robes with broom and bludger) 6. Professor Sprout (CoS outfit with a trowel) 7. Professor Lockhart (Green robes with Cornish Pixie) 8. Madam Pomfrey (CoS outfit with Skelegrow bottle) 9. Rita Skeeter (Quik Quotes Quill and pad) 10. Fleur Delacour (Third Task) 11. Viktor Krum (Third Task) 12. Igor Karkaroff (white jacket with cane accessory) 13. Pavati Patil (Yule Bale with ice decoration) 14. Padma Patil (Yule Balle with glass) 15. Frank Bryce (with torch and kettle) 16. Merperson (with trident and grindylow) Although this list is based on CoS-GoF, I think there are a good range of figures involved. The first CMS had only the trio, Malfoy, Cedric Diggory and Dubledore as characters with a minifig variant in the sets, so I didn't add any OotP/HBP characters who are likely to appear in this list. As such, I'd rather get Tonks, Shacklebolt and Kreacher in a 12 Grimmauld Place set and the Dursleys in a Privet Drive. -
This does look so much better, but for a £30 the one we get is okay for modding. The only suggestion I have is maybe making the neck one ball piece longer, unless you've already tried that and it looks wrong. Well done, how much did the extra bits cost?

I'd add Kreacher to that list, he only appears in OotP and DH1 at Grimmauld Place, and that location mainly features in OotP. OotP would also be a good way to get more Hogwarts house jumpers and robes for the DA members and Inquisitorial Squad. HBP introduces the Carrows, Greyback and Naricssa Malfoy. New molds, possibly Fang, Grawp and the Centaurs. -
There was also that Azog minifig that was released as a comicon fig before it was announced to be in sets, that was sold on for thousands, only to show up in an eighty quid set later in the year. As far as I know, no themes apart from Super Heroes have had exclusive Comicon figs, Star Wars would seem a more sensible place to start than Harry Potter, although i hope they don't do that either :D

Aside from the various similarities such as sentient trees and huge spiders, there's also the auror Proudfoot who shares a name with the Proudfoot family of Hobbits :) As the antlers on the stag are a separate material, would the stag body mold be able to be reused for the doe, with the small area the antlers attach filled in? -

Both good points! I forgot about all of those, really hopeful for at least one of those pubs becoming a set :) -

Hogsmeade would be great, but it could be seen to be treading on the toes of Lego's Winter Village sets. Also, would Lego make sets based on the Leaky Cauldron, Hog's Head and Three Broomsticks? As far as I know they've never made a pub/bar before. -

Diagon Alley is a tricky one, there are so many good locations but only a few are really prominent. The Leaky Cauldron, Gringotts, Ollivanders, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and Borgin and Burkes are obvious choices as important scenes happen in them. Flourish and Blotts is less memorable but still important. There are some shops which would still look great, maybe just as a facade, with window displays. The Apothecary for magical ingrediants, the Owl Emporium or Menagerie for magical animals, Ice Cream Parlour for magical food, Robes for All Occasions for magical clothing and the Quidditch shop for brooms and whatnot. A few stalls or carts would also be good. -
Thanks! Those pieces were my thinking, or maybe the new Lupin one in dark brown or black. A few more of mine. L-R Rufus Scrimgeour, Barry Crouch Sr, Mundungus Fletcher, Amos Diggory. Hogwarts Denizens, a simple Wilhelmina Grubbly-Plank, Bloody Baron and Madam Pince. Death Eaters (and a snatcher)! L-R Thorfinn Rowle, Alecto Carrow, Narcissa Malfoy with painted hair, Travers, Scabior, Amycus Carrow, Yaxley, Jugson and Antonin Dolohov, with two masked Death Eaters at the back. All have unique torsos, but it'll be good to have some more official robes some day.

House robes (like Harry and Hermione's mostly, but Ron and Dean's styles would work well too), house jumpers and Quidditch robes would be great. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff have already had their most famous students appear in the CMS, but could hopefully be repeated. There are loads of Slytherins to include though! -
It might be the light, but it looks like the Gryfindor flag is red with gold, instead of yellow and the Slytherin and Rvenclaw flags having silver as their secondary colour, instead of light grey. Overall, apart from the lack of skirt pieces for Dumbledore and McGonnagal, I can't fault this calender. Can't wait for 2020's one!
-
You're not wrong, it's in that scene too :) I don't think PS and CoS Flitwick is certain to never appear now, as it could be made to a satisfactory degree with existing parts, with either the CMS wizard hat or Ernie Prang's hairpiece. I think the shortest beard piece would work best, maybe suitable for a Bricktober pack or something like that.
-
His Yule Ball getup. What this minifig is based on. Such a minor scene, but I'm glad we're getting a variant of a secondary character :) Fair dos, it's not the easiest to see, but I did a rewatch of the films recently to get an idea of costumes each character has and I saw it then :)
-
And his bow tie is white, like Alfred in the Batman Movie CMS.
-
Flitwick is without his jacket, I was hoping white outfit might have meant his Yule Ball outfit.
-
The snake looks good, perhaps a little big but it is Lego after all :) I'd love to see his casual costume in the CMS with a molded wand/cane/snake part, with his Death Eater robes maybe coming in the sets to come. Would you mind sharing how you did the Horntail's horns? It makes the head look much better. I'm also going to try out your Thestral wing technique :) A few new ones from me now. Gryffindors: The trio, Ginny, Fred and George. Lee Jordan, Colin and Dennis Creevey. Lee needs a happy face, but the only one I had in brown was one of the old NBA ones which needs an update. I based Dennis on his sort of movie counterpart, Nigel. Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnigan, Neville Longbottom, Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown. I didn't really like the hair or face of Seamus from the Whomping Willow set, and I've given Neville a more unique hair piece. All my minifigs have unique faces/hairpieces unless they're twins. Using Bain's face from the Hobbit sets makes Seamus better IMO as the smiling side is virtually the same and the reverse shows him dirty, which I think is more appropriate for the character! Gryffindor Quidditch players. I need to update the old Torsos, but left to right there is Andrew Kirke, Jack Sloper, Katie Bell, Oliver Wood, Demelza Robins, Cormac McLaggen, Jimmy Peakes and Ritchie Coote. I just need to find good faces for Angelina Johnston and Alicia Spinnet. Slytherins: I need to get a load of the new torsos, but I have the hair and faces sorted for (l-r) Goyle, Crabbe, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Millicent Bulstrode and Theodore Nott.
