How could The Lego Company Improve itself?
snefroe replied to Mister Phes's topic in General LEGO Discussion
but there's a difference between pirates, GI joes,... and a real military theme about Germans fighting Allies... i don't ever want to see a set with two minifigs and an installation for chemical warfare, like nerve gas. -
that's a good point. i came across a lego survey on Eurobricks about a year ago. (think it had to do with the types of parts you would like to see more or anything...) i checked the survey a while ago and it said "TLC is still processing the results". if that isn't finished after a year... they should also try to seperate Afols and children in those surveys.

you should see the things they're producing in the new pope's hometown... it's pretty crazy, right now... not just on ebay...
-
I've got a nice R2D2 on mine, its pretty cool ;) you can hear and see mine in the "Bourne supremacy". how 'bout that? :P Could you refresh my memory (remember I'm old :-D ) well... at some point, i believe rather early in the film, Bourne is in custody, i think with a guy from Customs somewhere in a European country... he obviously escapes and takes the guy's cell phone... that's all i can remember... yeah... I'm going to have to see the film again...

Rusty mechanics has the same effect as old age :-D ;) but how can you fight like that? I'm having difficulties :-D I'm bowing which is not a good sign and then I flee in a mudd hole (what a way to end up one's great master jedi life) :-D i give up... :()

sorry if this is a bit off topic... did you see this grievous walk? it looks like as if he needs a walking stick... like Yoda... :P
-
i'd like to have these heads on my cell phone.. but that's probably not possible... they would be great tho, even a hype... many non lego fans would love 'm too...
-
sorry, pirate, i didn't mean to point the finger at you...
-
did you read that first question? i don't get this very well, they're trying to get us, afols, on board and the first question is... if we're going to respond at all, wouldn't it be better to do so on behalf of the entire gang of Eurobricks, meaning 300+ members?

Pirate of all pirates, WHAT IS THIS? *wacko*

The Eurobase 2005 - What will YOU bring?
snefroe replied to ApophisV's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
you are a bit slow, Master Yoda... my construction workers had some trees for your ... people living in the forest... remember, Master Yoda? ... the pharaoh walked away and whispered to himself "really, a mental case, this one..., totally collapsed... nervous breakdown... not a surprise, actually... the creature lives practically alone on a planet far far away, in a swamp, of all places, the closest beast to talk to is probably a marsh frog..." -
thing is that Us stores are very often the cheapest. i often hardly have a choice... transport costs in Europe aren't cheap either...

Master Yoda, do you have an idea on the dimensions of your cart you're to send me for your trees? -
one problem with bricklink, tho, is that you sometimes pay extras, like import taxes... whenever i get a shipping from the us via bricklink (about 5 kg of lego), i get to pay 10 euro import tax... that pushes the price as well...
-
well i guess it's as in real life... if you're informed and educated, you get more chances and possibilities in life...
-
i wonder how many ebay buyers are aware of the existence of bricklink, 'cause this price is really insane... any one who knows about bricklink wouldn't pay 100 dollars for this... and i consider these hats to be a rip off... it's outrageous to sell these soldiers with these hats for that price!

are you going to move to another home in Paris or Canada... where are you going to, Jipay?

Yes, we DO are a community interested in every aspects of the Lego culture ;) are you making a case for Duplo and Fabuland as well? I surely must have a fabuland fig lying around here, somewhere... :P and jack stone as well? Don't we have some standards here, people? I used to before my parents gave ALL my Lego collection away when I was considered too old to play with these almighty bricks :'( Now I'm having a great personal revenge of the bricks :-D ;) my dad threw away all my instruction books when i was young... and i had just collected them all into one huge box. that was terrible *sing* and there was no internet!
-
in my experience, it's not the time that matters, but the costs to install these things...

Lego looking to sell legoland theme parks
snefroe replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Mwuhahahahaahaaa!!! Just how high are these expectations? well these are mid-term marks and not final marks: French: 83% Computer Engineering: 86% Math: 90% Science: 80% Average: 84.8% I'm in Grade 10 and all the courses are Grade 10 but the Computer Engineering course is a Grade 11 course. My parents expect me to have at least a 90% average but in my whole life, I was never able to reach a 90% average. so ... 84 is not enough... i wonder how many students in Flanders reach 90% ... not even 10% ... and that is your parents' minimum? your dad must be Einstein, your mum is Marie Curie, i assume?
