  1. you need to be more creative, Master... Edited myself I was when writing this you did :-D :P so you still are very fast, Master...
  2. Isn't it like us: May 18th at midnight which IS really May 19th (One of the advantages of the time difference ;) ) it's on May the 18th at 0.01... so that's 18 not 19... i guess
  3. you need to be more creative, Master...
  4. i just noticed, Apo... you don't have a title... Master Yoda is getting sloppy... must be his old age :P After 900 years, blind you will start to become :-D :P However the Force indicates me that Apo has a title: co-webmaster ;) (OK too admin I admit :-D ) :P co-web is not a title... it's a function... :P
  5. what I find really funny is that we, lucky belgians, we'll get to see the film way before you, guys... on May the 18th... so all these posters are dead wrong!!! :P
  6. i just noticed, Apo... you don't have a title... Master Yoda is getting sloppy... must be his old age :P
  7. i believe the creator died... so some one had to take it over... perhaps that's why... i don't really know what the story is exactly, all i know is that the undo button is life saver for me on all sorts of other software...
  8. i was wondering where you were today, Master Yoda... glad this red alert moment is over for you... so... you're going to limit the number of posts, eh? that's good, that'll give me the time to close the gap between us... :P I believe you've got 4 times more posts than i have... :P
  9. yeah... that one our strongest points... :P
  10. it is possible to build a clear passage without having to modify a segment of your roof... here's a photo... i basically dumped the pieces on the inside, changed the hinges, attached the section between the cockpit and the passage to the latter, got rid of the 4 x 4 round corner pieces and attached the cockpit directly to the roof of the passage... from the cockpit, you can see all the way to the door mechanism... the modification of the brickshelf guy is more realistic, tho... you can clearly see that the real passage follows a different direction than the Lego model... so he was right to change the roof section. see:http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=842098 and http://www.frazmtn.com/~punstr/blueprint/falcon.gif he did make one mistake: his cockpit is too close to the hull. he should have made the passage two studs longer
  11. the "undo button" would also be extremely popular in my book... i believe the official argument is that the Ldraw program is not entirely finished as a software package. they're still working on a couple of things, the undo function being one of those...
  12. didn't some one suggest a lego V-wing would be released next year? i believe Jon even posted a photo of the real V-wing, not the lego V-wing, if that already exists... Personally, i'm not really waiting for a V-wing. we already have too many of that type of fighters... perhaps it's time to build a completely different vehicle...
  13. come on, guys! didn't you know this guy? he's posting modifications on brickshelf regularly... you do know "brickshelf" don't you ?:P
  14. you're just an old, retired pirate, to me... and a lazy one as well, so it seems... :P first: these people are your worst enemy (in case you meet them some day) http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brick/catalogi/index.htm this is you: http://www.hccamsterdam.nl/brick/catalogi/index.htm
  15. i guess the only luck Jipay has, is that he's going in the opposite direction. everybody will be driving to the sun, not away from it...
  16. the passage was a disappointment ... but considering the structure, a logical decision. after all, the hinges are structurally important. i think i have a suggestion, that doesn't force you to change too much... i'll try to post a photo tomorrow, if i'm succesfull, that is...
  17. well... i guess they are with 2 or 3 people, so they can share the burden... besides, denmark is quite beautiful, so why not...
  18. i just built my Falcon and i have to say it really looks good! :oo the upper side of the ship is great! if you add all sorts of detailed pieces you can turn it into a real space ship. the front section (the wing parts), however, needs some reparing. these two "wings" need to be a little bit larger and higher the cockpit is a nice, but failed, attempt from TLC. the problem is threefold: 1) the interior is not stable 2) the canopy easily moves from left to right 3) the entire cockpit, including the roof, moves up and down. i think it is possible to get two figs next to each, but that would demand a lot of changes... I also would have liked retractable landing gear. there is room for it, i think... the underside needs to be redesigned as well the collection of parts is really great. you get plates, small and detailed pieces, bricks, even unique, or almost unique parts. all parts i can use for other models It's not a display set, but it's a great basis to start from to build your own customised Falcon.
  19. i can imagine! you're going all the way through belgium and Holland, i assume? You do know that those few days are the most terrible in terms of traffic, don't you?
  20. apo is right! after all, there are police oficers in space as well!! look Mister-Phes... that funny man in his black and white space suit with that big B on his chest... driving a plastic wheeled car... that's you! :P
  21. no we did not... you asked me if i'm happy with my title and I replied...
  22. There may be many Yodas and Vaders but there is only one.... MR PHES!!! I shall now confess that I bought a Classic Space set back in 1993. It was set 6834 Celestial Sled and my granny gave me 6898 Ice-Sat V for my birthday. She was going to get me 6973 Deep Freeze Defender because it was on sale, but when she got to the store it was sold out. But why was I getting these when PIRATES were still being produced... I'm not quite sure. we'll assume there are pirates in space as well :P happy now?
  23. welcome in our midst... you will find lots of Yodas and Vaders here, but they only fight with words... Classic space came just in time for me and I have great memories of them... i'm still hoping for a galaxy explorer legend, but i guess that will never happen... what do you think of the Ldraw program? i used it a few times, but quite a few parts in the catalogue are missing, and I have problems with other functions as well...
