  1. I don't mind the Orange and purple variation, but I still wouldn't say no to a classic Black and White version. Throw in a new facial expression like they have with the upcoming Joker, and that will be more than enough for me. Most of the Bat villains LEGO has left to make I couldn't give a crap about. Villains like Killer Moth, Fire Fly, Clayface and Mad hatter are scraping the bottom of the barrel for me. I would rather see variants of other Villains. Killer Croc is the only one I care about to be honest and even then I don't really want him that bad, mostly as I have the old one.
  2. A couple of pages back I linked to an article on Brick Fanatics, where they stated that they can say we will see Green Lantern this year. However I believe he will be included in the LEGO movie sets, mainly as Superman, Wonder-woman, Batman and Green Lantern have semi big roles. Plus the fact that Jonna Hill is voicing Green a Lantern, means they have spent some cash finding a famous actor to voice him.
  3. The new 52 design is basically the current comic suit. The new 52 was an event in 2011 where DC comics cancelled all of their books and replaced them with 52 new titles. As a result many characters costumes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Nightwing, the Flash and many more had their outfits changed.
  4. Maybe, it seems at least Batman plays a large part in the movie, from the trailer. You can also see Wonder Woman, Superman and a new Green lantern whose design is new. He doesn't look like either the Comic con or LEGO Batman 2 design. Maybe that's why in the Brick fanatics rumour list, the guy can confirm a Green lantern figure but Cannot talk about it any futher. Legally they should be able to, as Warner Bros is making the film and I believe they own DC.
  5. If I remember on the all about bricks website, at the end of the Marvel + DC lists it said something along the lines of one of my sources also confirms there will definitely be a green lantern fig in 2014. Edit: Just been to the Eumour list on the site and can't see it, but I remember seeing it elsewhere. I'll have to look at some off the previous pages. Edit 2: Here we go it was on Brick fanatics http://brickfanatics.co.uk/lego-2014-rumor-mill-super-heros-update/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+brickfanatics+%28Brick+Fanatics%29
  6. That Batgirl figure looks great. I'm guessing she comes with a cape in the set. Also it's great to see a masked hero who doesn't have the white band across the top of the head. That white band really limits the parts use outside of that figure.
  7. Highly doubtful. I can't see LEGO making either a Helicarrier or Wayne manor. Wayne manor won't happen the closest thing we could get to it being an X-mansion. With the Helicarrier most of the stuff that makes it interesting has all ready been produced ( shield jets, Quinnjet, Starks lab and Loki's cell, even a small command bridge ). Really the same can be said for Stark tower.
  8. I believe that's from the new juniors line.
  9. I was under the impression that DC was getting a store exclusive ( Toys 'r' us, Target, Tesco ), while a D2C set hasn't been talked about. I would assume the next D2C will be Marvel, however I don't know weather LEGO will wait until Arkham is Discontinued before releasing it.
  10. The pictures released in the store catalogs are only small blurry pictures. Also the pictures are prototypes of sets, as a result new molds may be substituted and new printings and new figures are represented by other figures.
  11. A few news sites are reporting that there's a casting call for ' a physically strong woman between the ages of 25 and 33', as the films lead female role. A lot of the casting agencies are revering to it as Wonder Woman. Which is both cool and upsetting. It would be great to see more variety in DC films, but I feel that by throwing Wonder Woman in to Batman vs Superman is wrong. It will be complicated enough to establish Batman and his supporting cast without adding Wonder Woman aswell.
  12. The PAB wall at MK is always disappointing in my opinion. Whenever I've been it's usually 2x4 in different colours.
  13. Hmm, I doubt it would be Green Arrow. LEGO only put out the comic con exclusive one a few months back. I can't see them releasing him for a couple of years because of that. Also I'm getting the feeling that LEGO want to do the core justice league first ( Super-man, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern ) while there has been a bit of a Push for Arrow recently I think LEGO will wait a while before putting him in a set. Even then I doubt it will include Merlyn or any other Arrow villains, the only one I could see is Deathstroke.
  14. Not a fan of the 90's look. They look terrible in my opinion. I would much rather the 80's looks or the costumes from Joss Weadons run in 2004.
  15. I don't think it's to test the waters anymore, I think it's largely down to how complicated the SH theme is. This theme is involves three companies, and each Company has a large back log that will be very difficult to bring justice too. On top of that both DC and Marvel will have final say over what will eventually be made, as its there characters and properties on the line. Plus LEGO wants to reach a compromise between well informed fans and uninformed fans. As an example uninformed fans may not be as aware of certain characters so, those characters will most likely be second billing in a set ( Aquaman and Wonderwoman ). It gets into even more obscurity when you look at there villains ( the average joe most likely wont know Black Manta or Ares or Mirror Master ). It's also a bit of a waiting game as the more sales the Superheroes line achieves the more likely in future waves that LEGO will take risks with more less known characters. Also profit is important, which will sell better a Shazam vs Black Adam set or a Batman vs Two face set. While an AFOL who is also a DC and Justice League fan will pick Shazam ( as would I ), the Average AFOL will grab Batman first maybe grabbing Shazam at a later date. Also uninformed grandparents and Parents or even friends will grab the Batman set as everyone knows Batman, when buying a gift for someone. On top of everything else it's also down to DC who at the moment aren't doing a great job of promoting characters and there properties. Batman vs Superman will be the seventh Superman film and the eightieth Batman film. currently there has been no live action Flash, Wonderwoman, Aquaman or Shazam film. I find it extremely depressing that we will see Quicksilver in two films played by two different actors before we see a Flash film, Or the fact that we will see Guardians before Wonderwoman. Hopefully when the contract is renewed in 2015, it will give LEGO more Freedom and allow more sets, and more variety in Characters. I would still expect a large amount of Batman and Superman, but hopefully the odd Aquaman themed set or Flash themed set.
  16. Plus there has been a large push for Jordan recently. He's back as a main member of the Justice League comics, his TV show, Videogames ( Injustice and Lego Batman 2 ) plus a film. I would say John Stewart is more well known as he was featured a lot in the 90's. Plus I hope your right about Nightwing and Batgirl. That would give us 4 new heroes.
  17. I'm guessing the Simpsons house will include Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa, Maggie, Grampa and Santas little helper. They could even include Snowball II. From that I'm guessing that at least Grampa, Maggie and Santas little helper are exclusive. Now each CMF wave has 16 figures so I think they will include, Moe, Wiggam, Apu, Mr Burns, Millhouse, Skinner, Krusty the Clown, Barney, Smithers, Nelson, Lenny and Carl with the last four being Homer, Bart, Marge and Lisa.
  18. Having the Shrapnel removed from his chest doesn't mean he can't be Ironman. In the comics he has the shrapnel removed in 2005. Plus while it hasn't been confirmed that Tony makes Ultron it's been strongly hinted by Marvel. Plus the Comic con teaser showed an Iron man helmet slowly morphing into an Ultron head.
  19. By saying Avengers, I'm guessing they mean the Franchise (MCU). Plus they could easily have looked like Avenger sets as both movies together have, Captain America, Thor, Loki, Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Black widow. Also everyone told you so about Guardians of the Galaxy.
  20. I think the confirmed line up so far is Iron man Hulk Thor Captain America Hawkeye Black Widow Quick silver and Scarlet witch. Apart from them no one else has been confirmed as joining the team. The only other information we have is that Falcon, Antman ( Hank Pymm ), Loki and Warmachine won't be in Avengers 2 and Ultron is the villain.
  21. It came out a few weeks ago that most of the Comic Con Exculsive figures were meant to be in a Superheroes CMF wave. However LEGO decided to hold off on Licenced CMF waves for a while as the standard CMF waves were selling well. However recently CMF sales have dropped, which is why LEGO are starting to base CMF lines on products that already exist separately ( LEGO Movie and rumoured Simpsons wave).
  22. If your referring to Aquaman, Shazam and Bizzaro, I think it's because the designs for those characters already existed. If its true that all the Comic Con figures were designed long ago and intended to be a CMF line, then TT games would have had access to them. Plus the Aquaman on ice came out less than a year after the game, so the designs for him must have existed over a year before the sets release. So TT games would also have had access to him. These designs are most likely adopted by TT games and then bought out at a later date. Plus I doubt Man Bat would have any new molds. A single mold costs tens of thousands of pounds, to use two on one character when similar molds already exist would be stupid. The Superheroes line has a budget allocated to it on how much LEGO is willing to spend to create new sets each year. To waste a huge amount on one set would be hard to justify, especially when New molds will be made for Flash, GOTG and what ever else is coming next year.
  23. Looks like we have a new official release date and name. The new film will be called Jurassic World and will be released on June 12th 2015.
  24. I remember LEGO focusing on figures in the LOTR press release. I think even at one point calling the Minifigures collectible. However as time has shown LOTR has no CMF line and only has sets.
  25. The 2014 Batman is identical to BTB bat suit. It has the same utility belt, colour design, logo used and on top of that its clearly the same bat mobile. The 'Arkham' robin however is different as he doesn't have a new print for either Head or Torso. Also in regards to an earlier comment on the LEGO Batman 2 posters, they are not made by LEGO. They are made by TT games who while are employed by LEGO, mostly made the posters due to the fact that they are owned by WB games. LEGO most likely had very little to do with those posters.
