  1. Well Marvel has the rights to all the Films merchandise, and LEGO has the licence to everything Marvel owns. Whether or not this means will will get ASM2 sets however is a different story.
  2. I agree the 'fat' mold doesn't really need to used with Homer. Maybe Comic Book Guy or Barney but I don't think Homer is that big.
  3. My thinking is that the X-men sets will be comic based. Also I'm guessing we will get a Wolverine with mask. Mainly because from the Marvel LEGO comic variants and the alternate game costume, he has the same mask by the looks of things. I'm also going to guess that storm will be included as she is the one in the game who doesn't have her 90's outfit on.
  4. That's Shocker, he's a different Spidey villain. If memory serves me correctly I think his powers come from the suit isn't unlike Electro who has powers. Shocker hasn't appear in the new TV show yet so don't think we will actually get a physical Minifigure of him for a while. He does appear in the game however.
  5. I could see Wolverine getting that mask, especially as it looks like the same design as the Comic cover drawings.
  6. Gambit is next to Electra and Iron Patriot.
  7. It's available in Both my nearest stores, but not online.
  8. I would argue against the majority of the X-mansion stuff happening below ground, but it would stray a lot of topic. I agree that LEGO needs to expand their line but if anything Batman is not the way forward. The DC side of the theme is already more than enough Batman heavy. In the two years (three if you include next year) we've had only 4 non Batman sets, all of them Superman. Plus Batman has already had two Exclusives being the Fun house and Arkham. By releasing a Wayne manor set LEGO won't be expanding they will be doing exactly the same as the last two years. Also while I agree Marvel are getting a bit more attention, I don't think they shouldn't be given the next exclusive because of this. It's only fair that the next D2C set is Marvel since DC had the last one. Plus while the Vehicle vs Vehicle thing is getting boring, their are many more interesting places than Wayne Manor, like the Hall of Justice. Wayne Manor won't really bring anything new to the table, maybe Tim Drake, Alfred and a new villain, but do we really need it? Tim Drake isn't exactly the most need Minifigure right now, and any new villain ( Croc, Ras, whatever ) will most likely be included elsewhere in a cheaper set anyway. At that point the only character worth getting the set for is Alfred which isn't really worth it. Exclusive spots should really be held for more special and rare designs. I think giving a D2C slot or a retailer exclusive slot to the Manor is a huge waste. Especially when compared to everything else we could get. If we were to get an X - mansion or Hall of Justice or whatever, there's a chance that almost every figure could be new. Now something like that really is unique and in my opinion becomes worthy of that slot.
  9. Maybe everyone should hold judgement until we see the full figures, and the figures from different angles in official pictures from LEGO. I doubt, the Rejected Quality pieces on different Torsos, on a poor camera from an eBay seller can really show anything in a good light.
  10. There really is no need for a Wayne Manor set. I've said before that an X-mansion would be best as people can easily use it as Wayne manor, while giving us a ton of useful new Exculsive figures. On top of that the X-mansion is a constant location that has served as a battle ground, and all of its defense features make good play features. Another reason we don't need a Wayne Manor is because we already have 4 Hogwarts castles that have extensions, and they can easily be made to look like Wayne Manor. Also including Bane makes the set even more relevant because as said by someone else, the most interesting part of the manor is the Batcave and the Batcave is a seperate set that already includes Bane.
  11. I think so I was in GAME earlier today and they have the release listed as Nov 15th. Which is pretty annoying, as it's also comes out on 22nd November for Xbox one. So I might wait a week to get it on the new console.
  12. Well considering Hasbro have showed of a Green Goblin figure that lists him under the ASM2 line, also he resembles his Ultimate comics form. Then again this could just be a throw away figure with the film logo, but not actually in the film. Especially with how many Spider-man figure variations there were with ASM1 toy line.
  13. James Montgomery Falsworth is in Captain America, but he never uses the Union Jack identity. Still he could appear as 3 different people have taken up the Union Jack identity.
  14. Batman has had Eight variations since 2012, Black with yellow symbol, Blue and Grey, Artic, TDKR, Glider Blue, Glider Black, Electro suit and BWTB next year. If that isn't enough I don't know what is.
  15. You have to remember that we've only seen Ten heroes from the MCU, but that doesn't mean others don't exist. One of the reasons I felt they made Agents of Shield was to show this. Even though Marvel has done a great job of promoting less well know heroes, some heroes are too big a gamble to just give films too. Over the rest of this season and the next on Shield I expect to see Daredevil, Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron fist, Captain Britain, Union Jack, She Hulk and many more. One of the reasons I feel the MCU hasn't tried to appeal to the Asian market more is mainly because of countries like China. China only lets about 10 movies a year into its cinemas from other countries. Marvel made a big push with Iron man 3 in China, but unfortunately it's not a huge market for Marvel. Marvel make a lot more money making western based Superhero teams and marketing them here than they will making Asian Superhero teams. Plus I don't think what would work well in Asia will work well here in the west. There are still a lot of Asian superheroes, but I think Marvel will introduce them in Shield if they decide to show them in the MCU.
  16. TT games confirmed at Gamescom that all the Thor 2 characters and designs will be made available as DLC and, Captain America the winter solider designs will also come out as DLC
  17. From what I've seen the main villains of the show as well as MODOK and Red Skull are, Malaketh, Dr Doom and Justin Hammers super adaptoid. Out of those two it could be Malaketh or a really bad picture of Dr Doom.
  18. I was thinking it's more based on Avengers Assemble cartoon. MODOK is the second main villain ( next to Red Skull ). Another thing pointing towards this is the mention of a guy with wings, who is most likely Falcon. On the plus side of this the Thor in this set will most likely use the Winged helmet.
  19. LEGO Marvel is my favourite, which is amazing as it isn't even out yet. However I know that with all of the characters and from the gameplay videos, it will by far be my favourite. Until then it will be a LEGO Batman 2.
  20. Agreed I certainly get the feeling that LEGO feels more comfortable with, other heroes being added to the mix. Not just with DC but with Marvel aswell, the X-men set is a great example. The chopper showdown wasn't too much of a risk, since all three figures are increddibly popular. It will be interesting to see who's in what with Marvel and also whether DC has any sneaky sets hidden.
  21. All that was said in the text was that the Simpsons house will be the only Simpsons set available in the UK for the first quater of 2014. All that means is that exactly like Lone Ranger, Galaxy Squad and Lord of the Rings is that, America will most likely get the sets first. As far as I see it the Simpsons house is a regular set which won't be available in Stores where I live until later in the year. All of the rumoured sets are most likely true as well.
  22. It's fine how it is in my opinion, besides they don't split the Star Wars 2014 thread into Original, Prequel and Clone wars threads.
  23. If we ever got Clayface I doubt he would have removable hands. No other Minifigure in history as far as I'm aware of has come with a second set if hands to swap in and out. Plus given LEGOs recent relapse in quality the Minifigure arms would crack the second time you swapped the arms over. Certain characters like Clayface, Sandman and Mister Fantastic powers don't translate well in to LEGO. If we ever got Clayface ( hope we don't) he would most likely look similar to how he does in the games. Which is terrible as I always thought looks like something from the toilet.
  24. Whenever I've encountered these villains ( many times in TV and comics ) they are always pointless and C list at best for Batman's rouges. I'd except that Mad Hatter and Clayface are slightly B listers, but still I would rather we got either Variations of existing villains or non Batman villains like Death Stroke, Captain Cold ect. It's already disappointing enough that we are getting Man Bat.
  25. So? How many storm troopers have we got over the years? Just because a henchmen takes up a spot doesn't mean that he's pushing a new character out. LEGO is a business and most likely wouldn't have included another new new character anyway. They would most likely put a second or third new character in a different set, that way you have to buy another set to get that character.
