  1. I'm guessing Yondu, since he is blue skinned and in Guardians. I doubt it's Another X-man since all the Blue X-men have hair and don't wear purple.
  2. 1. Yes Ghost Rider went back to Marvel last year however Marvel can't talk about it until a year later. 2. Your forgetting that SONY own Spider-man, however Namor is one if the few Heroes owned by another company. Also your correct he's owned by universal. 3. Universal still owns Hulk, they were struggling to develop a movie after the 2003 hulk film. However Marvel stepped in and struck a deal where Marvel would make a film ( Incredible Hulk 2008 ) and could use him in the MCU. In return universal kept the merchandise rights to the Hulk. 4. As of right now Marvel own the Punisher, and have been shutting down fan produced work of the Punisher over the last year. My guess is that he will be introduced to the MCU in a TV series in the near future.
  3. Vision first appeared in Marvel Mystery Comics #13 November 1940. In his first appearance he has a red cape, dark green outfit and a bald White head. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vision_(Timely_Comics)
  4. Vision originally had Pale white skin in his first appearance. Red came later on in my opinion.
  5. As far as I'm aware Aquaman has been more prominent in the Justice League comics than Hawkgirl. Admittedly Cyborg has only recently joined the Justice League in the new 52 but Aquaman has been in the League for decades. I remember reading some behind the scenes stuff about the animated series that said, the only reason Aquaman wasn't on the team is because the studio wanted another female superhero and added Hawkgirl.
  6. The rock was also tweeting last year about wanting to play Luke Cage, and meeting Marvel so I wouldn't take his word as truth until offical confirmation.
  7. It hasn't been confirmed, it's only rumour at this point. And we now have two rumours contradicting each other, the original saying we will get lantern this year and another saying next year. Also with regards to the new black Batman variant on the March calendar, it's entirely possible that it's just a mistake with the colouring. It's not the first time it's happened before, on the back of the Batcave instructions the Dark blue Batman had a Dark Bley Torso and Legs when they are meant to be Light Bley.
  8. Ah ok I see what you meant with the Pokemon cards. I guess that could work, but it would mean that stores would have to make room on shelves, at which point they are competing with other LEGO sets for shelf space.
  9. At which point each blind bag costs $10,
  10. Except it would remove the whole point of CMF's, meaning they wouldn't be blind bags. Let's say LEGO made a SH CMF series that included Wolverine, Spider-man, Nova, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Loki plus one Big Fig like Hulk. Everyone is going to know which the Big Fig is, because the Big fig is fricking huge compared to mini figs. They'll be one huge packet surrounded by normal ones in the box. It would also make it harder to get that figure, because people know it's the big fig and grab it when they see it. The point of CMFs is that each character is random, and although there isn't a equal percentage of each figure you could get any figure as you don't know. A single special Big Fig would be a terrible idea. Everyone knows it's the big fig, no one will be able to get one due to everyone graving the only huge packet in the box, which in turn raises it's price on the secondary market. It's basically like the SDCC exclusives, no one can get them and they would be expensive on the secondary market ( all be it not as expensive as the SDCC's)
  11. I'm guessing the reason there not releasing them all at once is to maintain interest in this theme all year round. The past two years it's really only been the start of the year that the sets have been released.
  12. I find all this talk about whether Rocket Racoon will be in the sets a bit silly. After all I can't see LEGO not capitalising on the most marketable character in the film. I also can't see why LEGO would exclude anyone from the team. After all we received all of the Avengers in the Avengers movie sets. The reason the figures we're stand ins and not final, may be down to how much secrecy is surrounding the film. On top of that these sets won't be released for another 5-6 months, so it's highly likely the complex mold required for Rocket isn't finished or been finalised yet.
  13. From playing the LEGO Marvel videogame, I can see Wolverines new Face print when he dies. He has white glasses similar to Nova's which gives him white eyes through the cowl. He also has the same stubble and sideburns that he has in the Deadpool.
  14. It came from all about bricks who also got the set list for the current sets before anyone else. Their also the ones who said we would get a Green Lantern figure sometime this year, but they couldn't say how we would get him.
  15. You realise he's the same age as Henry Cavill, their both 30. Besides I don't think he's age should be a problem, I mean he can't be as bad as any of the previous incarnations of Luthor in film.
  16. I think the March exclusive is the pirate ship from the LEGO movie. However I'm not sure, but I'd guess any superhero D2C would be Delia's until Fall or Summer with all the Movie promotion.
  17. Sweet Martian Manhunter looks awesome, $75 promotions usually translate to £50 here. Which means I'll hold off buying anymore DC/Marvel sets until March. I'll most likely get the steam roller and Batmobile sets.
  18. I doubt it will be mech based as the Rhino in the show is much more like the Lizard. He takes a serum that physically changes him into a rhino/human hybrid.
  19. For me I would have to say: 1 Wolf of Wall Street 2 Thor the Dark world 3 Captain Philips 4 The Hobbit 5 Kick megablocks 2
  20. I haven't read any Demon Knights, is it good? I'm loosing interest in Marvel at the moment so I've moved over to DC a lot more. With Batgirl I'm picking it up in volumes, however I'm ashamed to say that I've only read the first volume. I really enjoyed it however, and I really liked Nightwing Annual 1 which is essential a team up with Batgirl that's awesome. It sums up Dick and Barb's relationship in a nutshell. From what I've seen issue 30 will be the last of Nightwing. A few days ago DC confirmed it was cancelled along with Suicide Squad, Superman unchained and Teen Titans. It will most likely come back as a number one or have Dick take on another Superhero identity. I certainly hope DC don't kill him off, especially since it was only a short while ago that Damian bit the dust. I was quite lucky with the 3D covers I managed to get all four for Batman and Justice League. However I wish I managed to get a couple more especially Two-face and Flashes Rouges, but since I only pick up Batman, JL and Nightwing In singles I could get any held back at my comic store. I've got Forever evil 1-4, the Justice league tie ins and Arkham war 1. I keep meaning to see what's going on with Justice League of America and Rouges Rebelion, but there's always another book that comes along and catches my eye. Like this week the Batman and Robin annual is a flash back story with Dick as Robin, I can't say no to that haha.
  21. The new 52 is great, that's where I started collecting comics. I know it's being cancelled at issue 30 but Nightwing is a great series, Kyle Higgins has done an excellent job with Dick Grayson. It might be worth picking up in trade. I've also read Wonder woman ( which is surprisingly good, especially with all the Greek gods ) and Aquaman ( which might be one of the best new 52 books). Some other highlights are Flash Batgirl Batman and Robin Superman unchained And the current big event Forever Evil.
  22. I doubt it's got anything to do with Megacon, and more to do with the LEGO Movie. The movie comes out in February so it makes sense that LEGO are hold some sets until after the release of the film. Most likely this will cause more hype among kids and keep people focused more on the Movie. Also this isn't the first year the Marvel sets have been released around March/April. The Avengers sets from 2012 were released around this time. Also do LEGO even go to Megacon? I've never heard of LEGO going to the event.
  23. I think that by preview figs, it was meant 2015s preview figs. That's how it worked last year and the first year. At 2011 comic con we got shown 2012's Minifigure line up and got Superman as a preview figure. Last year the same with Azog he was given out in July, and was available in a set in December/ January. I've contact LEGO about how awful I think the SDCC exclusives are, and how it's basically just for America. LEGO tried to reason that Europe and the UK have both had exclusives too, they used the Olympic figures as an example. However the difference there is that the Olympic figures were made in larger quantities and were available for purchase. Plus they were not based on marketable franchises. On top of that they don't have such a crazy second hand value and there wasn't a whole 'Rigging scandal' around the Olympic CMF's. Surely this year LEGO must realise the damage these figures do regardless of how obscure of well know the character is.
  24. Nope doctor strange hasn't be officially confirmed yet, however Stan Lee has hinted it may be a possibility.
  25. No Thor 3 hasn't been announced, but neither have any of the phase 3 films. Well except Antman but that was meant to be a phase 2 film originally.
