Although every figure is awesome, I do feel like Itchy and Scratchy are unneeded. We could have had Skinner or Comic Book guy instead of each one.

A new mold would raise the cost by quite a lot, and the car is already a lot. Plus if they are only making 10000 of these at the start, it a propably not worth it for the new mold.

Well the 550th episode brick like me ( where Springfield is made out of LEGO) airs May 4th, so I'm expecting them to come out in the next week or two. Personally every single figure looks incredible, hopefully these sell well to show LEGO we want more.

Could you link us some of the sellers that make 1:1 copies? I've been looking for a while to get a Shazam and Green Arrow, but I haven't been able to find any good copies.

I get the idea from the trailer that the collector is being set up for future movies. It looks more likely that Nebular and Ronan will be the main bad guys, with Thanos and the collector being saved for Phase 3

More importantly that video explains why the Avengers and co are so obsessed with fire safety.

I'm surprise Marvel has movies lined up till 2028, surely by then they will have had to do a reboot or reset on the timeline.

I just don't see the point of spending money developing, marketing, manufacturing and selling a set based around a film series that ended 2 years ago. It doesn't make sense to me especially when WB are a few months away from announcing there new DCCU films. Surely LEGO and DC should be looking at what's coming up and getting ready to promote that instead of wasting resources on another tumbler. This tumbler aswell is UCS which is going to be huge and expensive, won't feature play features or any mini figures it will really be for display. It's also extremely disapointing that both companies feel that $50 is the highest price point they can reach with system SH sets, but can price the Tumbler at between $120-200? It just seems ridiculous.

Doubt it, those lights arent LEGO products. Plus it looks too plain to be a LEGO UCS.

I went to Londoncomic mart at the weekend, and picked up some awesome graphic novels for a low price. Watchmen Saga volume 1,2 and 3 Batman the long Halloween And All Star Superman

Having seen both films, (and without going into spoilers) neither are really what I consider superhero movies. Thor is really a fantasy film to me, and come dangerously close to the LOTR theme. After all the warriors 3 and sif all really use medieval weaponry, the main enemies are Elves and all the Asguardians and Evles wield magical spears and staffs. It most likely breaches the Contract with WB and LOTR/Hobbit , as I'm guessing that contract says no other medieval fantasy licences while you hold ours. With TWS, again it's not really a Superheroes film. It's not like Ironman where you have 3 clearly define villains ( Extremist soldier, Killian and the Mandarin ) it's not like that with Cap. Have you seen the film? It would be very difficult to base sets around. First of while the film has action and lots of characters, sets would spoil the hell out of this film. There's many twists and turns and sets would tell you what certain characters sides are. We have most of the vehicles already ( Quinjet , Shield Jeeps and cars ). It would basically be like the ironman sets, where we get several sets based on stuff that doesn't appear in the film. Superhero fans are so hard to please, no matter what LEGO do they can't win. If they make TWS sets that are true to the film then the film gets ruined for fans, we get sets that don't appear in the movie and everyone moans or we get no sets and everyone still moans. As said previously TWS isn't really even a superhero film, it's no spoiler that there's no Super villain. Plus with S.H.I.E.L.D having such a huge role it's just gun battles. Plus as with Thor, there's way to many Characters to cram into sets: To get Thor 2 correct you need Thor Jane Malaketh Kurse Loki Odin Selvig Darcy Sif And The Warriors three. That's 12 figs for three sets. The same can be said for TWS but I won't list characters here since it's kind of spoilerish.

I got the LEGO Batman board game for £12 at my local B&M. Has some awesome parts and the micro figures are awesome!

I don't think we were ever meant to get another wave, but it was an exculsive. It comes from several rumours pieced together, a while back ( either all about bricks or brick fanatics) said they had an inside source telling them about the superhero sets. They were all correct except they said we would be recieving a green lantern figure in some form. In Febuary at one of the toy fairs LEGO said they have had to come up with a new DC wave for next year ( since the movie was delayed) and move sets around. Then some kid 'claimed on Instagram to have seen next years green lantern', most likely fake. Then we saw the LED torch of GL. So by the looks of things GL was meant to be in an exclusive this year, got moved to next year beacuse of DC's movie problems but the torch based on the appearance of him was released this year anyway. It makes sense, why would LEGO produce designs for a mini figure solely for a torch, and from the print on the torch you can see it's a officially minifigure, and not done by TT games or another company.

I imagine the construct would be made mostly of normal green bricks with some translucent bright green covering the top. Mainly because of how weak transparent bricks are.

Is there any news on the possible Simpsons community build or Competition? All the the Simpsons news over the last few days reminded me about it.

Agreed the heads look fine. The thing that surprises me the most is that these are by no means the first sculpted heads for Figures, toy story, TMNT, Spongebob ect. Even if they had standard mini figure heads, there would still be hate. I mean even on a standard head they would have cartoon eyes, and we all know how much people hate the Clone wars eyes. The heads still wouldn't be able to use else where. A lot of the hate comes from 'there's nothing for me, there for its terrible'.

Ok so here's my thoughts on Cap 2 with spoilers, so don't read if you don't want the film spoiled!!!!

Just got back from seeing Winter Soldier, have to say it's up there with the Avengers. I won't talk spoilers as I'm on my phone, but everyone needs to go see it.

I think he said it depends on the script. However I'm sure if they offer him the right amount he'd come back. He's kind off been going through a rough patch, so hopefully he'll be more desperate for work haha. The biggest problem in the GL movie was the awful CGI suit, that and the stupid fart villain.

Hopefully not Washington, the dudes in his sixties. He's getting way too old to do more intense stunts, and by the time a third justice league is made he'll be in his seventies.

I quite like these figures, although the biggest crime that Joker will be comiting is talking in a library. Anyone who thinks the regular theme is to kid friendly needs to see these.

It's certainly one of the best Bat books in my opinion. It's easily in the top 3 for me along with Batgirl and Batman. It's a shame really that after issue 30 it's ending, the annual and issues 28,29 are incredible.however I would read Scott sunsets Batman if you already haven't as Nightwing crosses over here and there as he does with batgirl as well.

Does it really matter? They're going to reset the universe so that all the previous films ( bar first class won't be in cannon). So even if storm dies she'll be alive at the end of the film.
