  1. LEGO need to stop all these ridiculous bootlegs that are coming out of China. It only really happens with the Superheroes line which isn't surprising, but it's still awful.
  2. The hair piece already exists as it came with the CMF Grampa from S8 I think.
  3. They were just called the Strike team which is really just a basic military name, I got the feeling they were a small squad that were similar to the SAS or Navy seals. I think they are completely Seperate from S.T.R.I.K.E the organisation, in the comics they are basically the British version of S.H.I.E.L.D and could easily be spun out of AoS. It would make a lot of sense for the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D to create them as all the agents S.H.I.E.L.D are fugitives from the American government, plus I'm sure almost every other country is looking to protect themselves from Superhuman threats. So I could easily see the UK or another country othering the team asylum, especially when they have experience against alien and Super human threats. Plus it would be a great way to keep things fresh with a main location change, and introduce a ton of new characters, Brian and Jamie Bradock, Jim Jaspers, Merlyn, Union Jack. You could also expand on the howling Commandos stuff since the original Union Jack was in Cap 1 just like that new agent's ( forgot his name ) grandfather was.
  4. Or you could introduce S.T.R.I.K.E to the MCU. It's amazing how many different spy/defense organisations exist in the MARVEL universe.
  5. Well while I'd love to see some sets based on older MCU films (Iron man, Incredible Hulk, Ect ) I would rather LEGO focus on the future. Especially with how jam packed the future will be. In the next 5 years we will of had Avengers 2, cap 3, Iron man 4, Thor 3, guardians1 and 2 plus most likely Doctor strsnge, Antman and Avengers 3 and that's just Marvel. At DC we have MoS2, Justice League, Shazam, Metal men and all the other unannounced superhero films at DC. For me with all those films on the horizon I don't want to have to spend more cash to get LEGO based on films that at that point will be around 10 years old. Older films really only offer, variants of existing characters, new villains and a some secondary characters. Sure it would be cool to get older sets, and I would most propably buy a few but as it stands LEGO need to focus on the future.
  6. Ah I finally finished my set after finding Millhouse. There advertised in a lot of places now in the UK, and Argos moved them to the front store so I could feel the bags.
  7. If you go WHSmiths and buy a Daily Mail they give you a LEGO PolyBag when you purchase the paper. You can buy multiple papers and get multiple Polybags, but some stores limit per so many per customer. However you can get straight back in the que usually and buy more. If there's not a WHSmiths near you, then you can buy the paper else where and take the coupon inside to Toys 'R' us where they'll give you the LEGO. Both TRU and WHSmiths run out of LEGO pretty fast so it's best to get there early.
  8. I haven't seen this mentioned yet but the Daily Mail is running a LEGO PolyBag week again. This time the Lineup is pretty good, both the Tumbler and the Batplane are listed as is the Spider-man Glider. Here's the full list and what day. Sat 10th – 30302 Spider-Gilder Sun 11th – 30282 Super Secret Police Enforcer Mon 12th – 30246 Imperial Shuttle Tue 13th – 30189 Creator Transport Plane Wed 14th – 30228 Police ATV Thu 15th – 30247 Starfighter Fri 16th – 30301 Batwing Sat 17th - 30300 Tumbler
  9. Well green Lantern is a whole other arguement, but with Deathstroke I can't see why not. After all Deadpool ( who's a parody of Deathstroke is extremely popular. ) was turned into a figure so I don't see why the couldn't make him. Plus he's appearing everywhere these days, young justice, teen titans, beware the batman, Arrow, arkham origins, injustice and countless more appearances. He seems to be the character that DC are pushing big time, oh and he's technically a batman villain which makes it more likely.
  10. We don't really know that yet however, DC can easily create a universe with different tones. Like you said Iron man 3 and the Incredible Hulk are dark, and I would personally add Captain America 2 and Thor 2 to that list. The only difference is they add more humour. You can't really judge the DCCU on one film, the Dark Knight films don't count as they are self contained. I can't help but feel everyone is complaining about nothing, so far we have nothing really to go on except the name of the film and who's directing it. Another positive that everyone has over looked is the change at WB. Last year they got a brand new CEO who actually knows about DC and about the characters. The previous ones to be honest didn't give a turd.
  11. Could be worse it could have been on the complete other side of the spectrum and be campy.
  12. Well if the Wall Street Journal is anything to go by Justice League won't be the only DC movie in the next few years. They're reporting as are many others that DC are also making films for Shazam, The Metal Men, Fables and 100 Bullets. I wouldn't expect sets areound those last 2, but surely the Metal men and Shazam would stop Batman getting all the limelight in the LEGO aisle.
  13. They haven't officially decided yet. Some high ups say it's unlikely while others say it's likely.
  14. This CMF wave seems to be selling out fast in the UK, my local TRU sold all 3 boxes in about 2/3days. Hopefully this means this theme is popular enough for another CMF wave and sets.
  15. Agreed it's clear we all have different opinions from the past 4 times this argument has happened. Anyway, I'm still to find a Shop near me that I can feel the bags in, as Argos is the closest to me that has them. I might have to ask the shop assistant if they would bring them out for me. Overall the quality of this CMF series is much better than the previous ones, the plastic doesn't feel as cheap. I'm also not surprised about LEGO refusing old moulds for accessories, especial given every figure has a unique head mould or two ( Flanders hair looks to be separate), and the new leg moulds.
  16. That's how it was last time, with 2 in each set except the Cap set. This time I'm guessing there's less repeats, unless there's 2 Iron man suits. There's also some non Avengers in the film, like Rhodey who they might shoehorn into sets.
  17. I don't have anything against cyborg, but he doesn't really need to be in the Justice League. DC should just save him for a teen titans movie, as him being in JL will most likely push either Manhunter or Aquaman out.
  18. It wouldn't have a great variety though. At the moment it's ok, but if we moved towards SHIELD vehicles constantly it would be very similar to DC. With the DC sets it's mostly just been black vehicles, sure there's a villain vehicle but it's mostly just black parts. At least with MARVEL there been some variety but, converting most of the vehicles to SHIELD would just cover the sets in Dark blue pieces. I know people are fed up with the spider vehicles but at least we've only had 3 of them, and only two of them have matching colour schemes. It would get repetitive real fast and suck the colour from the sets.
  19. I'm looking to trade some Simpsons CMFs for the remaining 4 Simpson figures I need. The figures I need are CMF Marge CMF Maggie CMF Millhouse CMF Chief Wiggam I don't mind if they have been opened from the packet or not but I would like them have the accessories they come with. I have to trade, CMF Lisa CMF Flanders Apu Krusty Grampa and Nelson Send me a PM if interested, thanks.
  20. I wish there was still an entertainer store near me haha, at the moment the only store here that has them is Argos. I've done ok so far I have 12 out of 16 with 6 duplicates. Hopefully WHSmiths bring them out soon that way I can get the only four I need, Marge, Maggie, Millhouse and Wigam.
  21. I haven't seen any in WHSmiths yet, but I'd try Argos if there's one near you. I just bought 10 from Argos myself, off course the only downside to Argos is you can't feel them so it's more of a roulette. Lucky out of the 10 I got only 2 were repeated
  22. Just come back from my nearest Argos (northampton) and I'm happy to report they have them in stock. I picked up 10 of them and have half of line so far. Unfortunately they weren't on the shelves and were in the stock room so I couldn't have a good feel to see which figures I was getting. However so far I have Nelson x2 Mr Burns Krusty Ned Flanders x2 Scratchy Itchy Ralph and Grampa.
  23. You and me both, I'm fed up of building LEGO only to look six months later to find parts broken. All my LEGO does is sit on a shelf and yet torsos, legs, arms, cheese slops, clips and every other brick develop cracks and brake. I can't imagine how long current LEGO must last in six year olds houses. It's even gotten to the stage where I'm thinking about the temperature of the room and the humidity of it, just to see whether that affects it.
  24. Not from the sound of it........ In my local area I've checked WHSmiths Morrisons TESCO Toys 'R' us The only place I haven't checked is ASDA which is owned by Wallmart, and none of them have them. In fact TESCOs told me they aren't making LEGO Simpsons minifigures..................... Idiots.
  25. What store was this in? Only it's possible other branches elsewhere have done the same.
