  1. There's several different Lantern corps in the DC universe. Green Lanterns use Will power to power their rings Sinestro corps use Fear which is coloured yellow Orange lanterns use greed Blue lanterns use hope Star Sapphires use love ( violet) Red lanterns ( rage ) Black lanterns ( death) White lanterns ( life) Indiego lanterns ( compassion ) There's lot of lanterns in space for sure. In terms of the set it looks awesome, and just how expected Hal Jordan v Sinestro set to look with a Green jet construct, using both translucent and opaque parts. It's a shame they didn't give Hal a smaller Construct of some sort like a brick built gun or Sword. However you can't really complain when we're getting Both Sinestro, Hal and Space Batman In a single set for £20. Hopefully this is the approach for the other 2015 sets, a JL member vs their arch nemesis with Batman or Supes tagging along. Oh and for all the John Stewart fans, I'm sure LEGO would include him as a exclusive Offer like they did with Jor-el, Hulk and Martian Manhunter.
  2. I own 1 Black suit Spider-Man and 1 Phoenix figure, I'd love to get more especially SHAZAM and Green Arrow but I can't afford it.
  3. As far as I understand it LEGO could use the old Spider-man movie sets as that is under a different contract. The 2002-2004 sets are all included in a contract between Sony and LEGO, where as the new stuff is all under contract with Marvel. While Marvel own the merchandising rights to ASM I'm not sure whether that includes the old Rammi movies. If we ever did get a Marvel dictionary the Minifigure would most likely be either Stan Lee, MCU Nick Fury or Agent Coulson. It would need to be a figure who has ties to all Marvel heroes.
  4. Marvel said a couple of days ago they have the rights to Namor. They said however if they were to make a Namor movie they would have to fulfil some old contract rights with a few studios who used to own the rights to him ( most likely a small percentage of the profit ). So while they said it's a little bit more complicated to make a Namor movie than it is Thor or Iron man, they can make one whenever they want. Also does anyone know the UK price of the tumbler ? The more I see it, the more appealing it is, and I'm curious to find out which organs I need to sell to get it.
  5. At the end of the day, if people are so against extraction of Oil, then they should buy less oil based products. Buy an electric car, or purchase products that use little plastics like Aluminium cased laptops. It's our demand for oil which is driving this thing.
  6. I've got no interest in the Tumbler it's self ( although it looks really nice), however the figures are a huge draw for me. I'll most likely brick link them if their not too expensive.
  7. While LEGO do have very little to do with Shell, they do still have promotions with Shell every now and then. Only a few months back if you bought petrol at a Shell garage, you recieved a exclusive set that was covered with Shell logos. One of the sets was a couple of pit members with oil and tools I think. Still it's not really worth going after a LEGO for, and it's really starting to irritate me. First off I'm fed up of seeing Mark Ruffalo post links to the petition and calling LEGO out. It's even worst when you see the reply she gets from idiot parents who then claim to refuse to buy their children any LEGO until the issue has been resolved. Is that what it's really come to? Using Children as hostages against an innocent toy company? Personally I hope LEGO bring out an Arctic Shell Oil rig set next year just to piss these morons off more.
  8. There's been a Superman/ superman villain every year. Preview superman Bizzaro Black suit superman So another Superman villain like cyborg Superman wouldn't be to impossible.
  9. I'm going to guess either, Cyborg Superman or Captain Cold will be the exclusive.
  10. A scalper is someone who has no interest in LEGO, and only gets the exclusive so they can sell it for hundreds of dollars.
  11. I didn't say that at all, in fact if you read my post you would clearly see at the top that I'm fine with People having these minifigures as long as they aren't scalpers. Good for you if you can afford to go, but unfortunately most people can't afford to travel thousands of miles each year. It's also not as simple as just save up for some people.
  12. I have no problem with these Minifigures going to kids or AFOLs, but it irritates me when scalpers snap these up and sell them for Hundreds of dollars. On the second point it really depends on where abouts in the world you live. Where I live, it would cost thousands of thousands of pounds to go to San Diego for comic con. As a 21 year old student who has to buy books, CAD software, Adobe photoshop, Microsoft office, crafting tools, marker pens, acrylic paint, materials like MDF, ABS and Steel, on top of that rent, petrol, car tax, insurance, £9000 a year to my university, plus all the other variables like food that keep me alive, I would have to be rich to go to comic con. I couldn't get anywhere near the amount need to go there at the moment, especially with all the more important priorities. However when ever I have a spare £20 I'll get LEGO, which is a lot easier to justifiy. It's ridiculous to argue that someone may have bought LEGO in the past, and therefore when they are at comic con they can be considered faithful to the Brand. LEGO isn't giving these figures out based on that information they are giving them out on the basis that someone is in a certain location at a certain time. Faithfulness should be defined over a long period of time and, not be determined by location and money which is ultimately what this all comes down to.
  13. None of those magazines are on shelves in the UK, with the exception of the Brickjournal. However the BrickJournal is only available in LEGO stores, and are LEGO stores are spread pretty thin. On top of that from what I've seen of the BrickJournal in LEGO stores, it's very expensive considering how thin it is. I'd say the demand is there since a lot of Shops have sold out of Blocks magazine and also since a lot of European countries seem to be importing them.
  14. But I'm guessing that when LEGO designed the Elrond figure for the game, they already new and had to have designed the Elrond for the set. They wouldn't of had enough time otherwise.
  15. Awesome I'm guessing this will be the Game Exculsive in the UK. Thinking about it, is this the first time a all new character has been used as a Exculsive? All the other pre order bonuses were variations of existing minifigures if I remember correctly. Voodoo doll Jack Sparrow Lex Luthor in armor Elrond ( Second age ) Iron Patriot Wild West Emmet Bilbo in dressing robes Ye Plastic man is all new!
  16. B&M are awesome, about 4 months ago I managed to get a LEGO Batman board game for £12. It's convenient for me aswell as there's a store 5 minutes away from me.
  17. Agreed I'd rather we got parts in new colours, back printing and printed elements, than boot printing. Parts in new colours have much more use outside of a set than boot printing does.
  18. TT games have added back printing to several old characters, they did this in a LEGO Batman 2 to the 2006 Nightwing.
  19. That doesn't mean anything,LEGO Batman 2 used the 2006 Mr Freeze and in the next Batman wave we got a brand new Mr Freeze figure. Sometimes TT games have to use the older designs as the new ones are still being developed.
  20. While it's not actually LEGO I managed to get a LEGO Flash LED keyring. He's awesome even if he is a bit too big for a keyring. I've started to see The Green lantern one pop up online on eBay and a few other sites, but he wasn't in the LEGO store with Flash and the others. Anyway the Flash LED is certainly worth getting even if it's just to make Flash light puns, never getting bored of those.
  21. Ok so I went to MK yesterday and the PAB wall still sucks.
  22. The rumour about this tumbler containing Minifigs really sounds fishy to me. From the idea I've got of this set is that it will be a large, not to Minifigure scale set that won't come with play features and is just for display. So why would it have minifigures? They serve no purpose being there.
  23. Milton Keynes is alright, but it's by no means the best. I've been too a few Stores in the UK and Milton Keynes is by far the smallest I've seen. While that's not a huge issue stock wise ( I've always been able to get what I've wanted), it's a huge problem for the PAB wall. The PAB at MK is awful, not only is it small but it's also a very poor selection of parts. Around 4 of the buckets are taken up with doors, windows, tires and wheels, and most of what remains is 2x4 bricks. I've never encountered tiles or interesting pieces in those buckets, and a lot of the smaller pieces are all bunged into a single bucket. That way one bucket contains gems, studs, cylinders, 1x1 plates and flowers. I will give the PAB wall one credit in that some of the colours are interesting, quite a few of the bright colour bricks from the Friends line and I've seen a fair bit of olive bricks recently. Overall though it needs work. The store itself is nice and the Staff are awesome, their always willing to help and are very friendly. It's a very neat store aswell, and it's easy to find sets. Milton Keynes shopping centre is very nice, there's lots of other brand stores in there like HMV, Apple, John Lewis, Disney, Waterstones and Game. John Lewis and waterstones are the only other places that sell LEGO as far as I can remember, and John Lewis sell D2C sets aswell sometimes at a discount. It's a very large shopping centre that has lots of clothes shops, electrical shops, book shops and entertainment shops. Unfortunately most of the Toy shops like Entertainer and Model Zone which both sold LEGO closed a few months back. Funnily enough I'm head to Miltin Keynes tomorrow so I'll post an update on the PAB wall and stuff. The only other LEGO store I can remember is Westfield in a London, which is my favourite due to it's size. The PAB wall is pretty good at Westfield a nice selection of parts but each bucket is usually doubled up. The stores pretty huge, and the only drawback is how busy it is. Due to it's location and size it's always packed with people, the PAB wall is pretty difficult to navigate due to both the customers and the location of the tills. Westfield shopping centre is very large and offers most of the same stores as Milton Keynes. Both Shopping Centres have cinemas and Milton Keynes has a Snowboarding and Skiing ramp as well as a sky diving simulator. Both are pretty good for Shopping and are pretty easy to locate. The Westfield centre is right on top of a tube station so it's very easy to get to.
  24. To be honest it's a shame that a slot has been taken by any tumbler. We've already had 2 incarnations of the Tumbler, and now that Nolan's trilogy has ended surely so should products based on it. There's so many other DC and Marvel locations and vehicles that are more deserving of that slot. Plus since we're getting a new Batman and new Batmobile in 2016, maybe it's time to start looking at the future. This UCS tumbler is just another rehash thats wasting shop space.
  25. But the film was meant to come out next year, at toy fair Lego essentially said they new what they were doing for the BvS sets and what they were going to be.
