Not for Rocket Racoon, but last year there were lots of LEGO variants for different Series. The list is somewhere online, but quite a few of them are rare and expensive.

It's extremely doubtful, especial considering how full the Superheroes line is already. I mean in the next year we will have sets based on USM and avengers 2, there's no room for another guardians set. Plus by the time it's been put in production, marvel will already have moved on to Avengers and Antman.

Really? My local store has 4 issues still out of the 5 they got. They've hidden them away on the bottom shelf right at the back, so you wouldn't see them unless you knew they were there. They also haven't but them with the hobbies and models section, but instead put them with the leisure section with all the minecraft and gaming magazines.

I thought it was awesome and contained some great articles and tips. The reviews were good especially the ghostbusters one, the only gripe I have is that all the reviews were D2C sets. Hopefully that changes in a couple of issues.

That doesn't mean they don't consider him a member of the justice league, it's because he wasn't in the game. Now after LOTR and Lego Marvel TT games have special mechanics for archers, which they didn't properly have for LEGO Batman 2. Most of the characters in the Justice League in that game can fly, due to that being the new mechanic added to the game. With the advancements made now GA can be included and have meaningful purpose. Since comic con is coming in the next few weeks I'm guessing that TT will announce a ton of new characters just like they did last year. Also just because a character isn't included doesn't mean they don't like them or don't consider them a proper member or whatever, it means they have nothing meaningful for them to do in that game.

Are you sure DC only have the rights to bluray/ DVDs for the 60's show? As DC produce a monthly comic book series in the 60's TV show that uses all the actors liknesses. They also produced some hot toys statues of 1966 Batman and Robin. Surely they wouldn't be able to do this without the full rights?

You'd still get a movie Black Adam in a set, as he's being played by the Rock in the movie.

I doubt it they will be SDCC exclusives but as a store exclusive. I've said it before, but LEGO most likely delayed the GL set until next year, due to the Batman v Superman being delayed. It takes around 18 months to get a LEGO set from concept to stores, and since LEGO have had to create a new wave in about 11 months I'd say LEGO delayed it for next year. All about bricks were correct about all the other rumours, so I can't see them getting the GL set wrong. It makes sense. Plus the printing on plastic man isn't really LEGOs style, you can tell that's not a real Minifigure just by looking at it. If LEGO were going to do exclusives again ( which I doubt after the big rigging scandle last year) they would go with figures that won't cost much to produce. Maybe Black Adam or captain boomerang, I can see them going for villains since last year they were all heroes.

The problem is the running gag isn't even remotely funny. If have no problem with Deadpool if marvel didn't try to shove him down ours throats show much, every single comic series has Deadpool variants ( even teams who have nothing to do with him ), the amount of series he has that are just absolute crap and that he's now influencing other characters. By that I mean the version spider-man in the USM is basically Deadpool. He's forced upon us at every point, Lego marvel superheroes is a prime example. I get the fact that he sells well, but good lord it's way to much. It's one of the reasons I don't bother collecting Marvel comics anymore. He's the ultimate rash that won't disappear, constantly there and constantly irritating.

Ye but what marvel have planned won't last long, I can't see them doing that long term for such a huge money maker. I'm guessing his 'absence' will be no longer than a year or two, and will be soley to piss Fox off. What doesn't suprised me is that any mention of the x-men has been omitted from the title, and since this wolverine cartoon will be in the Animated universe I see a lot of cross overs with Spidey, Hulk and the Avengers. I don't expect a lot of X-men though, since they haven't appeared in any form in the 3vyears this universe has existed. They've been mentioned like the FF but I doubt we will see them much, I'm guessing it will mostly feature Cap, Fury, Hulk , Thing and the worst character in existence Deadpool.

They were big figs purely to give the player more variety when choosing a big fig. I do agree however Colossus, The Lizard and The Thing need to be similar to Dog pound from TMNT, slightly bigger than a normal figure. Venom is a difficult one as in the normal 616 universe he's normal size, but in the ultimate comics he's huge.

There's supposedly a wolverine cartoon inbound as well as the logo was glimpsed on a marvel stall.

Yes but I doubt they will connect it to the DCCU. It seems like the type of thing they would keep seperate like Constantine or Fables. Plus the fact that JGL is in it might confuse the general audience, with him being in the last batman film.

Big figs require new Moulds to produce, which are incredible expensive. For a one of production like an exclusive figure, it's not economically viable for a company to do.

There only phasing FF out of comics, x-men have the most Marvel books so I doubt they would phase them out.

It's a bit unfair to call Disney/ Marvel selfish just because they aren't making sets around the franchises you like. Why should Disney invest money, time and effort into someone else's film? Technically The MCU and the X-men films are competing against each other, so it makes even less sense for Disney promote DOFP. Disney and LEGO already have enough on their plate with Star Wars, The MCU, Disney princesses, USM and comic X-men without taking on another franchise. Plus who said DC doesn't have a final say on what LEGO does? I'm sure either DC or WB are the main reason we only see Batman and Superman sets. Just look at the films they have made In the past 50 years, we've hade 6 superman films and one spin off, 8 batman films and one spin off plus a single Green lantern film. Oh and looking at the future we will get one Superman/ Batman film followed by a JL movie in 4 years. WB are obviously have the same amount of input as Disney have, and I'm sure LEGO have a certain amount of freedom to make what they want. But as I've said it's unfair to call a company selfish because they don't want to promote a rival companies film. Just because they are not making exactly what you want doesn't mean they are doing a bad job, if anything Disney is trying as much as they can to cater to the majority of people. In the last few years we've had Toy Story 1/2/3 Cars 1/2 Prince of Persia Pirates of the Caribbean Lone Ranger Princesses Ultimate spider-man Avengers Avengers assemble Iron man 3 Guardians of the galaxy X-men And they now Star Wars as well. I'm not sure a selfish company would put that much effort into its franchises.

The DVD release is happening around the same time which will give the LEGO movie line a big marketing push. By the time the DC exclusive comes out all that interest will have disappeared mainly because the DVD will have been available for a few months, nothing will be coming out for the LEGO movie and LEGO will have set their sights on the next big thing.

Ye but X-men sell, where as all interest in FF has all but gone since Fox got the licence. Marvel are right to think that this next FF film could be the final nail in the coffin.

Plus it was only the original team from the future, as far as I'm aware The version of the team that matches the film was always set in the current time. Also Thanos is in this film and was at the end of the Avengers so I'm it's taken him 1000 years to find 3 infinity stones, then he will never get round to fighting the avengers.

Personally I can see it happening, i mean it wouldn't be hard to do. There's only 4 or 3 fantastic four books at the moment, no cartoons or what not. Outside of comics they have nothing really going on, and while they may be considered more famous than iron man ( I disagree there) they don't nearly sell as well, in fact there sales are dangerously low.
-
Because there's around triple the amount of new moulds in the Superheroes theme this year. That's why it's more expensive.

Well I've already made my views about Wright doing Antman clear but, I do think both sides are at fault. Really Wright wanted complete control, but he must have know he would have to link his film to others, and certain events would have been out of his hands. However it's a bit unfair that Marvel changed his script without notice a few weeks before production. It's unfortunate that this has happened, but on with the show I guess.

It's most likely in reference to the new Bat-spacesuit, since GL, WW and Supes are giving there opinions at the same time. Plus as Hal says he likes it Robin nods and does the heart gesture, which to me says 'I like that suit too, in fact I love it'. Also in reference to the Zur en Arrh figure being a promo I can't see it. To my knowledge LEGO has never released a promo figure that has colours exclusive to it. If they ever do ( like a hair piece in x colour) they usually plaster it everywhere afterwards to get their money's worth. A purple bat cowl is really a one use object, and it's expensive to turn injection moulding machines on just to create a small number of parts. So I'm assuming if he is a real figure ( I think he is ) the he's coming in a set.

You could see the neck bracket in the trailer, it's transparent so it's difficult to see unless you look for it.

At least we have a physical date though at least comic con gives us that. When were waiting for photos of sets to be released it's murder.
