  1. Looks good, wish they’d included a (useless) side build to pad out the piece count. Or even a couple pit droids. Now I need a yellow one using the newish inverted arches this one is using.
  2. 2010s Lego Star Wars would care about this difference, but 2020's Lego Star Wars just released an 800$ set with Luke in the wrong jumpsuit and a 350$ set with a Phase 1 clone with Phase 2 printing sooooo.
  3. I believe this has been deemed cannon now. RIP Nik Sant. That was what I assumed would be the fourth version.
  4. To be fair Tatooine is heavily featured in the prequels so it counts for both I’d say. But yes sequel trilogy has more planets. I suspect Naboo and Coruscant are more in depth than say Crait or Pasanna, time will tell.
  5. There appear to be 4 versions of Rex! Also I like the look of the upgrade system. The Ninjago game had a similar thing. This sure seems like one gigantic game! No Felucia 0/10
  6. I’ve watched many “ranking” videos on YouTube, and while there are definitely many views on which is best Id say Parisian Resturaunt and Assembly Square are two of the most consistently high ranked modulates.
  7. Ok I’m just now realizing this hotel is roughly the color of Neapolitan ice cream!
  8. The Tiger has an anus. Bold move Lego.
  9. That "blister" pack is now a "blaster" pack. I think I like the new Hoth rebels, they definitely regained some detail after loosing all leg printing in 2019, buuut I still think the 2016 era of details looked the most screen accurate the brown dark tan print seems jarring here.
  10. Hey look lego went above and beyond to respond to our desire for regular blasters in these packs! You can replace the stud shooters on 1.5 of the old BPs for each Hoth Accessory Pack you buy! At this rate in 5-10 years we'll get The Commander Cody Battle Pack, includes 10x Commander Cody.
  11. I don't think the image is supposed to be of the new clone, just a place holder, it's definitely the 2013 render.
  12. They did correct the Kannan Jarrus hair, which was a new mold for him (They originally packaged the Ghost with black hair). They also messed up the color of the mind stone on their original Vision (MCU) and made a new one 1year later with the corrected yellow stone on a nearly identical print.
  13. I’m fairly certain that lego is no longer doing chrome whatsoever due to chrome environmental impact coupled with the afore mentioned play issues.
  14. I think Agent Kallus said everything I would have said about remakes. But also, I wouldn't underestimate the desire for a more fleshed out roster of prequel characters. I collect all SW minifigs and I think that the level of coverage my OT fig collection has makes the lacking tertiary characters from the PT all the more noticeable. I was happy to get a Neimoidian Warrior for example, I'd love Sio Biddle, Mas Ammeda, Typho and the Seperatist Council in its entirety.
  15. Sealed Chrome Darth Vader for $200. Ton of money for a fig but I don't think i've seen a sealed one this cheap in the last few years and rarely even a used one. Now my minifig collection is only missing the slightly* cheaper Shadow ARF. Also, I suppose, Chrome C-3PO who resides in the same section of my brain as the ATLA movie where I pretend they don't exist.
  16. Snow-bacca!!!!! Also I’m a big fan of the cold weather updates to scout and at-st driver.
  17. I'm not a fan of CMF figs who can't be identified for what they represent without their accessories. We've had a few, like the skaters, but this series contains two, (horse girl and toucan girl). I was hoping more of an equestrian looking fig for the former I guess? Highlights for me are the Bard, the Snow Warrior, and the Raccoon and Chili. I dig the toucan mold, and I also think the Moon warrior may grow on me with some non rendered pics, I think the hair and face colors are throwing me off. EDIT: Just saw the Chili girl comes with milk. Hilarious
  18. I’m with you on preferring the Kama, but, I care most about consistency so I’m just glad that there’s a commander to match these new snowbiddies.
  19. It's been over 8 years since the last Gamorean guard was released, and they were only ever in 2 sets (newest version that is). I think it is more than appropriate to include a few of these guys. I'm just hoping we get some more figs down the line to fill in the ranks of shady star wars characters.
  20. The studs alone outnumber the Titanic's piece count. 10,240 studs are used plus a few hundred other pieces.
  21. So after buying 1 of every HP set that includes chocolate frog cards, receiving the GWP, and being able to hand pick a madame Maxine in a Hermione poly bag, I am still missing 1 card. Fitting I think, that the card I’m missing is Gryffindor himself considering where the cards are displayed. I guess I’ll just check in poly bags when I see them. Also my First Flying lesson had the same card in the same bag which I thought for sure was the one place you wouldn’t get doubles.
  22. TLG said what they said, but as maaaaaaaaany people here have reiterated over and over, there is solid evidence that a UCS set made at minifig scale will have more figs for that reason. While the larger than minifig scale sets tend toward 1-2 related figs who don't "fit" into the actual set. I will eat my Finch Dallow mini-figure if a UCS AT-TE at minifig scale wouldn't have figs in numbers comparable or greater than this AT-AT, it was designed to accommodate the figs, they will include a few.
  23. Correct me if I'm wrong but Santa in the Sant's Sleigh set is the first fig to have red and black legs. Santa + Knight Rider (swap for red arms) + Ten Nunb = Best Purist Nien Numb we have ever been able to do right?
  24. I think the Titanic set is a good example of minimal studs but still lego. Just an observation as I am in BrickBobs camp, I'm not for or against. I've seen a a good bit of chatter about the leg mechanism. Do we think this is an actual screw driver as some commenters indicate or do we think it's more like the tool from the Chiron? (For those unaware, the Chiron has an Allen wrench style tool made entirely of lego that is your only means of properly raising and lowering the car's rear fin.) I think the AT-AT's tool may be one to just access a mechanism, but since the weight is a factor maybe it is a screwdriver. Before pics I would've assumed the legs are the part of this set I'd be the least interested to see detailed in a review, and now they have piqued my interest more than anything else.
  25. Interesting, this wouldn’t be the first time an update to a piece had unintended consequences. They slightly modified the round stud with hole piece and now it has no purchase on the HP flame piece when inverted ala Fluffy Encounter. Shame about the backpacks, but at least that’s a solid reason, and as many have said they would cause issues with sitting like the kamas did.
