Haha I was thinking the same thing. I may decapitate an Alien Conquest fig to stick a trans green head in there just for the sake of accuracy. -

While i would love orange blades and yellow blades where they should be in these sets I think we all sometimes forget that while much cheaper than a new mold, getting pieces in new (or no longer produced) colors does have a price tag for designers as it will add a "new" piece that has to be inventoried. I'm guessing the printed pieces in the Holiday set maxed out the allowed "new" parts. I have the Sinestro set so I'm lucky to have a yellow blade, but even with the neon green i don't think it's as bad as when they gave Rebel's Ahsoka darker blue lightsabers. -

And already a bunch of toxic comments on IG about the sequels, people need to grow up, lol. It's too bad the lightsaber is indeed green and not yellow. So I searched a few targets today in my area, (Atlanta), And none of them have the two Ahsoka sets on shelves nor in stock online. Same with Walmart. I'm hoping this means presales were really good for these sets even though i'd expect store stock to be a separate inventory to preorder stock. I ended up doing a next day delivery for all three through Amazon. -

Not necessarily related only to Star Wars, but how do ya'll deal with sets from the bad years of brown and dark red pieces?? I'm feel like I can't enjoy my Gunship/ Most republic ships, Sail Barge, MTT, Sandcrawler etc.. due to pieces breaking constantly. I have been extremely lucky so far that no stickered pieces have broken in the UCS Sandcrawler for example, but many of the other parts have broken, especially plates. Not a SW set, butI pulled out my Mines of Moria set to build again and a whole 4x10 brown plate has just snapped in half while in storage with exactly no weight on top of it, the roof of my Palace Cinema is best described as shards of plastic. Many of the 2012-17 SW sets are highly sought after collectors things now so replacing some of the parts is ridiculous. Does anybody have any advice regarding this situation? Replacing the sticked parts seems nearly impossible. -

Hera fits inside the cockpit. She does look overly large in there but she fits, and Choppers head can be attached on the side too. -

I know a lot of influencers in the hobby have run with the narative that lego never listens to fans, but amongst unpopular cost-cutting measures lego takes, they absolutely do listen to our feedback. I think after the comments on the AT-TE not getting a crab droid there is a higher than usual chance we get one in this new BP set. If the set has a Dwarf Spider droid it may be the shortest amount of time between its appearances in sets. I suppose a droikeka is another possibility as many have suspected. -

There is a review up of the E-Wing set. The figures look nice especially the pilot and the astromech. Baylan's Arms are silver and the shininess of them helps imo to offset the lack of printing or pauldrons. -
Does anyone know if we have any news on the AT-AT or Razorcrest retiring any time soon? I keep putting off my AT-AT purchase, and I keep flip flop on whether I'm going to buy the Razorcrest or just it's figures. Razorcrest should be safe for at least another 6 months, but the AT-AT is one I feel is hard to predict and I highly doubt either set is getting a Falcon shelf life.

It's actually crazy that of the 3 main protagonists of ATOC Anikan has shown up in only 3 sets (Blue Angel did use his episode II look though) and Padme in only 1 Ever!! Obi-wan is the only character who feels like he's popped up a fair amount in that variation (Cuz he has a starship). Even Dooku, the main antagonist has only appeared twice! I obviously only counting their episode II looks. I personally think the arena with its obvious play features and alien creatures is a no brainer for kids to enjoy. And, that would include most of the important characters, but other than that and the Bounty hunter chase which has flashy brightly colored ships i think kids would like, I agree with the sentiment that many of the locales in the movie would be a tough sell to Legos target audience. -

Just to weigh in on this, I think the Bounty Hunter pack from 2017 was the right way to do a named figure "battle pack", one where none of the named characters are mass-able. This seems to be what you suggested above. I know some people never want to see named characters in BPs, but that Bounty Hunter set doesn't get anywhere near the hate the Clone Jedi One gets and i think it's because the Jedi one came with two clones people would loved to make an army with anchored down by figs you need exactly 1 of. I personally was happy for two cheap well done Jedi without creepy CW faces, I think the blame has been on their inclusion instead of the fact that Lego should have made that set into two separate BPs. A BP with four Jedi (hopefully all exclusive, new or upgrades) and a BP with 4 clones or 3 clones and one special clone (pilot, officer, Kamino jumpsuit, etc). I think the issue was Lego going in two directions at once with that particular set. The battle pack model could be simultaneously used to flush out characters that don't fit into sets easily and to continue releasing supplements for armies. For every person who likes to build an army you've got someone like me who just wants 1 of every fig with as many new characters/ troopers as possible. -
Heres a random minifig I would like. Holiday/ Santa/ Festive Boba Fett. In the 13 years lego has been doing Star Wars Advent Calendars Boba Fett has never gotten the Holiday treatment. I find that extremely surprising considering Vader has been done 3 times and R2 has been done twice, and technically we have two holiday Yodas.

I’m tickled that the new Gunship is getting such a divisive reaction in the community. I feels we mostly give a set high praises with a few people nitpicking, or we universally think a set is bad and some go out of there way to defend it. today we have a generally “all over the board” reaction. Always nice to remember our afoul community is anything but a monolith. -

As you say it’s pretty affordable second hand but I can’t believe they made the piece then never used it in another set ever. Luckily I have that set and Sinestro didn’t need the piece as much as my Rey did! the blurry pic really doesn’t look yellow -

With the amount of Mandalorian and Clone minifigures TLG has been pumping out you would think they could sort out Pauldrons and Kamas in a consistent and quality way. I think the kama aspect has been talked to death on here i Agrre with most sentiments but i wouldn't add mush to the convo. When it come to pauldrons I can think of at least three plausible options (Print, hard piece like praetorians, epaulettes or the piece used in Prince of Persia, or dual molding). I feel most of star wars characters with the pauldron armor have a samey shape to it, so why not create the piece if its reuse potential is relatively high. I think such a piece has been sorely lacking to make many of these figs pop with some color or beef them up a bit. Cody, Fox, Mando, Bo, and Space Titus Pullo could all have used the same piece and Rex could have used something akin to the armor of old which fits Bly and ARC troopers as well. I only think the cloth pauldron works for the sandtroopers / death troopers. -
The new The Marvels set that just got revealed gives me some hope that lego has the proper pieces now to achieve a midi scale or playset scale Home One, the marvel ship has some similar aesthetics with the slopes and curves. Before now I felt the scale needed to achieve the look well in lego would have required too many pieces at too big a scale, like that one MOC that i'm sure most of us have seen. Home One was literally the first thing that came to mind when i saw the new set.

Are you referring to Sabine wielding Ezra's lightsaber? If so thats all over the trailers, and since she was trained to use the dark saber by Kanan and Ezra, she would be about as proficient as a non force user could be with the weapon. As far as deeper meaning to her using a Jedi's weapon, so far there has been no implication that Sabine is actually force sensitive. If that is not what you were referring to then sorry for the micro lore dump -

At least orange blade pieces have existed in a multitude of sets. I remember when Rebels Ahsoka came with blue saber blades and it took years before lego released clear ones! At least she gets them now! I agree. I miss having a solid selection of sub $50 sets. There is something that makes me feel more ok making two spaced out payments towards the hobby than when i drop all that cash in one go, even when i can afford to do so. Also many people don't want both ships and this tactic seems to partially be a strategy to leave less shelf warmers. That being said i think both ships look nice in this set. -

I agree with the general sentiments of "Why?" I also do not think this looks like a particularly fun build. Lump this in with the Cap Shield for builds i don't think I'd get any satisfaction from. I built the Harry and Hermione giant characters and the hair was not the highlight of those builds is all i'm saying. -
Youch I may need to physically cut that sticker if I can’t get the “Ts” close enough. It possible we will be able to align them better than the photo, but surely they could have done better on that. otherwise I love it, day 1 purchase

I don’t want to wish list, but I think there are very few ships that really need the minifig scale ucs treatment and the Ghost is top of the list. two reasons: 1. Interesting color palette that isn’t grey. 2. We’ve seen a lot of the inside of this ship so the interior details are a knownish quantity -

I agree, I think if the smaller scale sets are what we have to get these days this set does that very well (much better than the gunship IMO). I think the Ghost is a prime candidate for the next $800 UCS but at playset scale i just want the ship to look good externally (check) and i'm not fussed on interior detail or scale to a fig. -

I mean maybe the level of detail in monkey kid and Ninjago temples is a better of example as those are definitely aimed at kids and have beautifully attentive detail.
