  1. they look as realistic as possible, and the 6 kg of crane is stability enough. its all about counterweight.
  2. My mobile crane weighs about 6 kg, and lift itself wit the outriggers, but it is absolutely impossible when they are extended. :)
  3. Currently i am just waiting for the release of ev3, then i am going to build one with one ev3 in the crane, and the other as remote control. the looks and fnctions will be about the same, but the control will be more realistic.
  4. yep servo for steering XL for drive 2 L for the mast.
  5. Now it's time to present my latest MOC: Heden 5440 forklift. Fully remote control, and lifts 0,75 kg. it does not lift that high, but a four part mast would be too big. also i did not make RC sideshift on the forks, since that would be too big too. more pics here: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=527934
  6. I made one too: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=519000
  7. great car, maybe i should build it. Make it in military colors, and the danish army would buy it, they have millions of them
  8. Bilka also has price guaratee (?) on all their LEGO sets, so they are the cheapest in Denmark.
  9. please find an example then, because i have never seen one before.
  10. maybe im just wierd (i have 10 of them) i think they are great, and use them where i can (almost everytime for driving and compressors) but in this case tipping of the bucket would also have to use the speed remote, and that is not good so i chose this solution (gearing is not possible, not enough room) in two months i there is an exhibition where i will use a speed remote, just to make sure it doesnt go off the table.
  11. i know, but there is not enough room to gear it down a speed controller would fix it, ut then one of the boom fnctions need to use the speed remote too.
  12. Scania g400 with crane and tipper: this time there is no remote control, so all the functions are controlled from here: crane by Efferman. i also had time to make a small loader: Volvo L70: with remote control. video of both: (never mind the dog ) more pictures of both here. I have also taken some pictures of the multijob, and a video will follow soon.
  13. i do have a few, thoug they are not that old: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=505517 trucks with tree axles in the back are getting quite popular in Denmark over the past year, thoug not as longnose trucks. so they are all futuristic, and apparantly possible.
  14. Sometimes i just get the idea, or see a machine some where and thinks: i need to build that, then find some pics and find out what scale i want to build in. then find the wheels and build the axles, and find all the PF parts and try to see where i want them in the model. if i can see it wont fit i scrap the project right away, and if i think i can make it fit i will just build i from bottom up and inside out ending with the body. currently building a Volvo L110G loader with these wheels: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=45982 which means this shovel will fit in scale: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32030
  15. when i finally got it opened with a flat screwdriver, the plastic was so destroyed, that it could not hold together properbly, and it is quite hard to get all the gears into place and hold them there while putting it together.
  16. i have opened one before, and it is quite hard, and you will not be able to close it again.
  17. thanks guys. another MOC, not a mod, only cab is the original: not so much special, all features are shown in video: more pics: guess where.
  18. Last friday i got the 42006, ad build it on sunday, but i dont like those gearboxes, so i made it fully remote control: Most of it is completely rebuild, only the arm and cab are the same, though i wanted to keep the original apperance of the set. I also made a video to show all the functions: More pics here. (later ) I will present a unimog 6x6 when my camera is recharged, and i have made a video.
  19. 3x panel 5x11 and 6x new type 3x11 panel Mini LA in outriggers. i wonder how they made the sliding axle in the outriggers? edit: two pages i did not see
  20. i hope you mean rear axle, or i would not be the driver at 1:40 the rearaxle tips to the other side:
  21. it cost me the same as 3 unimogs, and it was too heavy to drive on its ovn, so it ended its life on a piece of cardboard on the floor in my room, untili accidentially hit it with my foot, and smashedd it beyond repair, so now it is disasembled anyone need red tiles?
