  1. thanks but you are not going to have instructions. i dont think so but if alasdair realy want one, he might visit me and make instructions.
  2. Now i got a new pc because my old sadly passed away at the hospital so now i have a video and some more pics: the outriggers are powerful enough to lift the whole crane: functions are: battery box one: (channel one and two) 2 XL: propulsion 1 M: front steering 1 M: rear steering battery box two: channel one and two) 1M: extend front outriggers 1M: extend rear outriggers 1M: lift front outriggers (autovalve) 1M: lift rear outriggers (autovalve) battery box 3: (channel three and four) 1XL: lift boom 1XL: winch 1M: turn crane 1 buggy motor: extend boom more pics here. this is all for now. now i just need a new project, maybe i will try the roolgolf
  3. I am sorry hat i have not updated you, but my PC broke down, so it is now on a short "holiday" with my favourite videoprogram but i have this pic: (the unimog weights about 2,1 kg) the outriggers are actually strong enough to lift the crane of the ground (when they are fully retracted)
  4. this video shows no sign of AWD: and this video shows some experiments about the shape, and weight distribution: i think you will need no suspension, (or it have to be very stiff)and weight a bit to the front, but not too far if you cant do it, i will make a try at some point.
  5. i just modified the old boom, so it can take a lot more weight but it is olso a bit bigger and heavier.
  6. i think that will bend and be too heavy, i only need tree sections because it is long enough as it is now, but not strong enough, it needs some support between the upper and lower part of the middle section.
  7. great, then i might get rid of this problem:
  8. i know, if i get a good idea it will be changed, but i dont want a boom wider than 7 studs, and i do not have many yellow liftarms left in my collection.
  9. Thanks for comments, and sorry for the wait, i have been busy with other things than building and when i had the time i did'nt have the famous idea... but now i have some progress with the crane part: i have extended the boom from my other crane, and made my own LA as the originals are not long and strong enough for the heavy boom. i have also added a motor for the turntable because therre is no room left in the undercarriage. the weight contains a battery box, and som fishing sinkers to add weight. this extra weight has two train weights in it and some more fishing sinkers.
  10. 2. The Harbour Tug efferman: 3 points 4. Semi-submersible Zaiocrit: 2 points 14. Piper Super Cub Float Plane dhc6twinotter 2 points
  11. when i designed my terex loader i downloaded their spec sheet and zoomed in to a size that fits the wheels i wanted to use, (600 %)and then held the model against the screen to get the right dimensions. (i did the same thing with the terex tc 20)
  12. the truck is finished: more pics here my building table is finished: so i started on something else: a fully remote controlled liebherr ltm 1070-4,2 mobile crane with 11 functions. no pics yet, just a video to show the steering.
  13. thanks. its much easier in a real machine.
  14. More progress on the truck: now i know why i hate to build cars and truck cabs. A video of the excavator: no more progress the next two weeks, because i have to install a better sorting system on my building table. i also made a short video of the bus:
  15. "Klodsfest" in denmark is now over, and me and my bus got home safely. Here is some pics and a video will follow later this week:
  16. no proplem, rear axels take 5 kg each and front axle 3,5 kg
  17. Hedgie is partly right, because i made it modular, so its easy to remove the excavator and add a crane instead, so when i am finish with the excavator and have the time and parts i will make some kind of crane for it.
  18. It uses two XL motors (when finished) and the gear ratio is 1:2.334. the red equipment truck earlier in this thread is demolished now, and the tracked caterpiller loader will soon follow.
  19. time for an update: i made the rest of the chassis. the front axle fails at 3,5 kg and each rear axle can at least take 5 kg, so thats a total of 13,5 kg i also made a WIP video:
  20. i dont, but i can contact him in my danish LUG.
