  1. You guys are just going to make them blue. Don't get excited about rumors, besides it's just going to be a modular building, not Star Wars. You'll make yourselves get depressed.
  2. I went and bought two more 75001 BPs and am aiming to buy many more. I'm looking forward to having a little Republic army and stuffing my diplay shelves with Sith troopers. The Infiltrator and the Fury Interceptor are pretty big, though. I haven't even built the models yet, but I'm pretty sure I can fit them all on two shelves, I hope.
  3. Why do you people keep copying exactly what I say? What is going on here? Is there some kind of wierd server feedback or something? Maybe it's normal, but this is really bizarre.
  4. Why don't you try legoboy12345678/David Hall? He's on here and he' got a youtube channel too; Solid Brix Studios. That dude has about a million customs.
  5. Nice review. And Bobsy, I look forward to a review from you as well. I make it a point to read every review at least once. I really like this set so far. You have only reinforced my desire to get one of these. I also appreciate the comparison with the ARC 170. I still haven't built mine yet. I have been a fan of the Z-95 scince first reading about it back when I was a teenager. Soon, I will have one of my own!
  6. Modular? *tthhpptt!* We want Star Wars!
  7. Not all the reviews have been indexed yet, as KimT has retired from Eb. You can search for a review, but you might have to dig a little if one does exist. As for the elite BP, it's great, get it!
  8. Thank you for listing characters everyone actually KNOWS. Thanks for not trying to out-nerd everyone, also. I guess if someone really wants a really obscure SW character, the best option might be to make a custom. I would.
  9. I really like the symmetry of the tower, espacially with all it's geometric protrusions. That antenna looks especially powerful too. I'd bet they could get the Clone Wars episodes before anyone else in the galaxy.
  10. I love this MOC. It precisely illustrates the one of the fundamentals of Sith teaching; Obedience through fear. If you come across clearly, you should only have to use this destructive demonstration once. Good job!
  11. I just got a new A-wing, A clones vs droideka BP, and two of the Old Republic BPs. I have to say the printing on all the new figs is A+ for all the sets. The A-wing has sixteen stickers, wich sucks, but it is my first one and I never had an Ackbar before. I have to say I am really pleased with all of these sets. I'm definatley going to buy several more BPs.
  12. I like the bit with the levers too. I am also always pleased to see clever parts usage like the two orange brick seperators. That part is great!
  13. I like how the ships are all colorful. It really shows the modularity of the space station.
  14. Use two 2x2 round bricks with the technic axle. Assemble it with the technique mentioned above.
  15. LOL jynx! you said the same thing as me.
  16. These planet sets are almost kind of fun. They really are if you can get them discounted. Even if you don't care much for the model, you still get a nice minifig and a handful of tiny, unique parts. I haven't got more than one of each yet, but series 3 and 4 might change that trend IF they ever go on sale. We're still waiting for the winter sets to get stocked over here, Lame.
  17. The bantha is a great idea, but could it have elephant feet? I thought they dressed up real elephants in the movie. Whatever, it's cool either way.
  18. I really like some of your ideas, especially the BP's, the bomber and updated shuttle. I haven't got past season 3 of CW yet, so I don't have an opinion on much of the new CW stuff. Your suggestions have me drooling.
  19. The detail on this moc is really great. What I like most is the placement of the figs and you colud even have the imperials retake the base, then the rebels take the base again! Oh, my head is spinning.
  20. About the Slave-1, why is Jango's version not getting more attention? TLG has already made 3 Boba's. What's up with that? Boba's ship is only on film for about six seconds in two scenes in all of SW. Jango had plenty of scenes and his Slave-1 was on screen for like eight minutes, so relatively speaking, THAT one should get more love.
  21. You have to determine what your priority is as far as style of set goes. Do you want a fighter or speeder? Do you want a playset or battle, or something in between? I always pick the ship that catches my eye the most, or I decide what set has the figs I really want. Personal preference, really. In that price range I would suggest the Naboo Starfighter, Anakin's Jedi Interceptor, or the Bounty Hunter Assult Gunship. All of those are a lot of fun with nice minifigs.
  22. Nice model. Perfect for hunting down rebel scum like the filthy dogs they are. (no offence)
  23. That's some clever parts usageon the smaller ones. All of these are terrific, though. Thanks for sharing!
  24. There's so many really good figs it's really hard to pick just one or even just one theme. If I had to, I think I'd have to say my current favorite is Shaak Ti. Even though she's Clone Wars, the headpiece mould and the printing both contribute to what I believe is the most beautiful minifig in my collection. While on the subject of SW, I will nomiate the previously mentioned Aldar Beedo (either version) as the absolute worst minifig in LEGO history. The single piece one looks like some solidified plastic slag that dripped out from the mould whilst a legitamate LEGO piece was being formed. The hodgepodge fig looks like a deformed hunchback battle droid reject. Taking that idea into consideration, I would take pity on the creature and put it out of it's misery.
  25. Yeah, so there WERE two of us that used the planet pieces in the raffle. With your brilliant bra idea, we should start a thread with something like; " Making something nice with goofy parts. "
