  1. Im a moc'er, and I only use new parts. I never buy used lots. I seen friends do it and the price fop usable parts seems steep and to much a gamble. To get the parts i need I buy my Lego from: Set's if its 10-250% off and I like it , 25% off and above if the parts are useful. This is my basic way of filling the bins with parts I may need. Bricklink. This is the way I get the parts I need a reasonable amount of and the hard to get stuff S@H if the price on the parts is cheaper than on Bricklink Lugbulk, once a year and long wait for those bigger projects that needs a lot of normally expensive parts but still can be fitted inside the Lugbulk frame. (Lugbulk is only open for RLUGS) Pab cups, very rarely an almost only if its a small element I need a cup of. To keep the cost down, do smaller builds with the part you have, Vig on 8x8 16x16, microspace..Go for detail and looks..
  2. Very nice indeed.. love the way the camel's sink in a bit into the snow.
  3. I really don't have anything to say that haven't already been said. I like the simplicity of the scene, and how small things like the tans green in the water and the arrangement of the grass on the sand dunes really makes it come "alive".
  4. Thanks, I think I will take away the minfigs when dispalying it in Halmstad and hide them inside one of the rooms instead. I started buliding on the rest of this scene yesterday as I have a larger scene in mind. Im not sure if it will work out butI'll give it a try.
  5. Very nice! Not often a background fits as nicely as this! The shape of the island and the tree works very nice with the small craft, also liked your story text.
  6. Nice autumn feel! The creek water looks cold and I like the way the fence divide the scene , also some excellent figure posing.
  7. Nice!, the use of the green snake as vine and the small golden statue at the altar is the details i like the most, but the building feels very Ankor Vat..
  8. Very nice ship! Love the color blocking, the sparce but perfect use of stickers and the modulex? parts on top..
  9. Thank for shareing this with us.. Its fun to see how new parts really make some things less parts consuming.
  10. Very nice indeed! You nailed the shape and the brick built rotor blades are awesome..Nice color scheme asewell.
  11. Thanks for all nice comments, Im glad you liked it.. i sure enjoyed building it, it was nice to build in "black and white" . IRL it looks very strange next to my more colorful MOC's Thanks, I had plans for something at the tracks, but i thought it would be to over crowded, so I decided to take that away and keep it for a future expansion of the scene. Thanks, The stacked trolleys was the final thing I did to the scene, and I really like them to. I put in the forklift after taking away what I had built for the track, and im pretty pleased with the way it came out , except for the front wheels, I have made a different version of it but im not sure what looks best. There is some weird stuff going on inside as the warehouse has a full interior and two rooms, (one for the "Zoo" part) . The roof if made in two half's split at 1/3 and 2/3's of the length and both slides open to show the inside.. Thanks, This was my first attempt to make a grey scale scene, I had the Goth girl and the Mime standing and thought I make a place for them to hang.. I also wanted to test out some blacklight leds to lit up a fire. The scene started with the fire and the pallets and evolved from that. The warehouse design is mainly borrowed from a fellow Afol: pehter Aka Ibbe who but with some minor alterations and added details.. The grey head It's a miss print, a have a few different ones (like the tan dengar head in my sigfig), The all white coffe mugs in the scene is also "miss print" or non print that i got from my good friend Rolli.
  12. Some nice alterations you have made to make it more movie actual.. Will probably lend a few of them to my B-Wing..Thanks for sharing!
  13. Thanks for all the feedback, Im happy you like it. All floors are easy detachable and even the part of the roof can be taken away to more easy access the upper floor of the main building. The curtain swings for access to the stage, A test build had a way to tip the roof water barrel (so that the Gentleman in sombrero would fall out from that) but I scrapped that part. Its not for kids anyway
  14. Thanks! The wood panel on the wall is the reason i made the build , wanted to try it to see how it looked.
  15. Very nice, I like the brick built tree , and how the rock breaks up the snow.. nice scene , well bricked !!
  16. Here is the part I have done for a Western community build, It uses the moduverse standard and is a low entry CB, First: This Moc contains the use of alcohol, immoral behaviour, partial nudity, death, horror and other things that may offend the easily offended. or lead minors into certain doom, loss of hair or bad teeth. You have been warned.. Deep in dusty desert sits the establishment of the good hearted Miss Lucy Li. From the balcony the girls have a nice view of the calm street below.. "Come join us, we have cookies" On the back of the house there is a lot more "action", Here the bartender cleans the glasses with a frenzy.. And Peggy-Sue dances a different kind of rain dance.. On the upper floor "guest" can was away the dirt from the road and the smell of horse. (just be wary of the Black Widow) Sometimes the local Sheriff drops by,, There is also a barbershop, for those in need.. (who do all the ladies hair btw), Front Side Back Hope You like it! CC welcome (and all names have been changed to protect the innocent)
  17. Wow.. Nice crossover and touch to the build.. Nice plants and colour scheme !! Well bricked!!
  18. "And don't forget the croutons" CC Welcome
  19. Bahnhof Zoo Not for the children.. Welcome to Bahnhof Zoo.. ..were containers lies sleeping with an open mouth. Come were trolley's has found their final rest.. and the forklift stands silent, eternally idle. Welcome were the lightning pole has shed its last glimmering light. [ ..and broken pallets warms a frozen hand. Enter the place were rules no longer apply.. ..and the drugs of choice ease the mind. Welcome to Bahnhof Zoo.. ..were life is gray.. ..or pitch black.. Enjoy : CC welcome! Link to Flickr

  24. There are eels in my hovercraft!

  25. Thanks for a great review.. I think its great that Lego decided to go "all in" on a single theme, hope to see more of that in the future. Now im just waiting for an all flesh CMF series..or even a Friends one..
