  1. Excellent MOC, the building's roof and walls both look great Nice little wall and tree too. Neat shield design
  2. Thanks Legofin, it was fun making this castle quite run down
  3. I'm very impressed with how much work you put into showing the actual work on the building! The large crane looks quite realistic, the kiln is a great detail, and I like your mini-crane design The part showing the construction of the stone arches is great, something I'll have to remember for future construction scenes. The stonemason's hut is the only thing that bothered me, shouldn't the roof slopes be sloping the opposite direction so that water would run off of them? You're improving quickly as a builder, keep it up
  4. The Master Architect Challenge has reached the half way point, there is only one month left so get to work and show Nocturnus's building skills Challenge Topic: Master Architect Challenge

  7. @Yooha: Great scene, you really got the idea of the challenge The Master Architect Challenge has reached the half way point, there is only one month left so get to work on some construction scenes Challenge Topic: Master Architect Challenge
  8. Thanks Kai, Kayne somewhat inspired the roof of the keep The colors look a bit better in real life I think
  9. Thanks DM, I was going to do snow, but I had a ton of new leaves to use
  10. Now that you point it out it makes perfect sense, if I had been able to see the head of the statue in the pictures it probably would have been more apparent. Nice detail
  11. Thanks jeroenaa! Thanks, there are actually two sections of swamp, one behind the castle and one on the right of the castle
  12. Indeed many interesting plants You achieved a nice swampy feel with different shades of green you used
  13. As Ska said great work with the plants, I also like the birds and stairs
  14. Nice use of black in the landscaping and the foliage is excellent Creepy statue as well
  15. That bridge design looks great! Nice rockwork too
  16. Neat vignette, the irregular base is cool and I like the bases of the trees There almost seem to be too many shades of green in the trees, making one a bit taller than the other would add more visual interest in my opinion
  17. Wonderful finish to a delightful tour! The trees add a nice touch and the buildings themselves are well thought out and look great
  18. Great work capturing the bubbling effect and the sand section looks good as well
  19. Lovely build Ecc, these Nibelung builds have really captured the feel of Mitgardia! The little houses look superb Excellent fig combos throughout and the story is quite intriguing. Whoever the killers are they had better be ready to face Mitgardia's wrath
  20. Thanks Gideon, I think this is the first time I've seen a black/bley/dark tan castle, I rather like it, though I doubt I'll use these colors together often Thanks Infernum! I drew the layout up on graph paper. That allowed me to experiment with different designs quickly and easily until I found something I liked Thanks Rast, Balthasar and Ecc inspired the black parts Are you going to post your LEGO Store display build here?
  21. And Forngord Castle is live: Long live Mitgardia!
  22. My last free build for chapter 1 of Historica. My little brother helped me a bit with this, and it is our largest build (footprint wise anyway ) yet. There is a full interior to the castle, and quite a few of the doors/trapdoors work. Joktan, Jayan, Erastus, Dedan, and Kenan, along with the Hradcanny dwarves are attacking Forngord Castle. The castle, located in southern Mitgardia, has been long abandoned, but recently the Hand of Corruption has taken residence there: Quite a few more pics here: link I think this is either my favorite or second favorite build, tied with my Fortress of Cameria build. Any C&C appreciated, the first chapter of GoH has been awesome and here's to an even better second chapter!
  23. Well Kaliphlin was inspired by the Blizzard of builds Mitgardia put out in April I know Ecc has been a bit busy sorting all his builds from that
  24. I can definitely see Legonardo's influence in the irregular base and landscaping Cool tree and I agree with Gideon, the use of the broken bamboo leaf is superb
  25. Great sunset, the first pic shows it off nicely Nice landscaping on the rest of the build too
