Dawn of Ages: Chapter 1 Pt.3-Petrean Market
soccerkid6 replied to PenPlays's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great action and the storyline grows ever more intriguing! The ramshackle wooden roofs work beautifully here I do feel that the wall and ground could use a little more detailing: some small tan plates here and there on the ground would add some interest, or some plates in a different color; another color in the wall or some sort of decoration, nothing too fancy, could add some interest there as well. Great to see some more MOCs from you -

He is 11, good suggestions he will add some tiles next time he uses this path technique -
Built by my 11 year old brother. Kendrick has left his home and is going to meet two traders that he will be traveling with. Here he has just caught a fish for supper : He would appreciate any C&C, thanks for all the great feedback so far!

Kendrick's House (built by my little bro)

Thanks! I thought the backwards jumpers gave a neat effect too, I hadn't seen it done before Thank you, yup the windows could be better, he'll keep that in mind for next time Quite sure Stairs do add to the house feel, he went with the ladder because it took less space. It may be a bit before he makes a whole castle -
Great build and your presentation is top-notch! I love the use of the tracks

Sounds like some great pieces Have fun building with them Great, I will have my large build done before the end of June -
Incredible trees The water effect is also excellent

Neat technique, the end effect is quite impressive

Nice exteriors, but the detailed interiors are what make these for me. I love the sword racks throughout the guardhouse and the desk and bookshelf are excellent As Watchman said your use of the Heroica weapon is great too

That is one 'goblin' looking goblin Superb detailing throughout, I like the proportions you gave him

Thanks for the comment, changing the windows is a good suggestion that I'll pass on -
This was built by my 11 year old brother and continues the Kendrick series. Kendrick and Basil (Kendrick's pet goat) have returned to their house to prepare for a journey: He would appreciate any C&C

Great start to what promises to be a very extravagant tour! The irregular base works well here and I love your trees The tower is top notch as well, the roof is fantastic and the colorscheme is excellent Always enjoy seeing new castle builds from you and this is one of my favorites -
Very peaceful scene, the bird and tree are excellent The flagpole leaning gives a more natural effect too

Thanks, I did make the houses a bit different (different window frames, roofs, beams, one house's second floor is larger than its first, different colored windows, one house is taller than the other...), just left the basic colorscheme and footprint the same
-
Thanks Carson Thanks Kayne , you're in luck though as he likes tan the most, so you have another Kaliphlin builder coming

Nice work monsinjor! I love the tentacles with dishes on top and you did a good job making the ruins look overgrown Does the stream come from under the cliff?
