  1. I like the irregular base and the texturing you achieved with all the plates in the landscape Great swamp and those bushes do look pretty scary
  2. Nice detailing in the walls with the statues and decorations I also really like the angled tiled square in the floor
  3. Definitely has a Barad dur feel. I like the gold accents and the bridge looks great. Excellent lava too I think the cliffs would look better if they didn't end all at the same level
  4. Another great addition to your goblin series The house looks amazing and the goblin's facial expression is priceless
  5. Great to have you in Mitgardia again, Dragonfire I'm working on another free build that I'll probably post tomorrow or Wednesday
  6. Thank you, I borrowed the design from Burrli: So feel free to borrow away!
  7. Thanks Matthew! He will make an account when he gets a bit older I write the story for his builds (we come up with it together though), so I'm glad you liked it I really liked his cactus too
  8. Woops Yeah, the sea grass, I only saw the top of it when I first looked at it.
  9. Thanks, I'm glad you like the plants, I thought the scene needed something other than the trees/snow/water so I added those
  10. These Nocturnus tribes just keep getting scarier and scarier I like the bush you made with dark green leaves, hooking them up to the short antenna works well
  11. This was built by my 11 year old brother. After being ambushed by outlaws, Kendrick and his companions were taken to the robbers hideout. Basil had managed to escape as the thieves didn't pay much attention to the goat. This proved to be a serious mistake as Basil followed the group to the outlaws lair. The captives were placed in the ruins of what seemed to be a tower: One of the outlaws prepared some food by the campfire while the other two made sure the prisoners were behaving themselves. As the two thieves headed back towards the campfire the one in the lead was head butted by Basil: The bandit eating by the fire was very surprised, and rather amused, to see his two companions knocked over by the goat: Picking up his sword he walked toward Basil, still snickering at his friends' embarrassing fall: When the first thieves had been knocked over, one of them had dropped his knife within reach of Kendrick. Kendrick quickly started to cut his bonds on the knife. Meanwhile Basil knocked the third thief right into the fire! By now the first two thieves to fall were back on their feet and going after the goat. The unfortunate fellow who had been knocked into the fire tried to smother his burning clothes: Kendrick had finished cutting his ropes now, and moved to free his friends: As he did so one of the thieves tackled Basil: The bandits were in for a surprise though: The outlaws were tied up then forced to walk with Kendrick and his friends as their prisoners: Thanks for looking, my little brother would appreciate any feedback on the build. The next scene of Kendrick's travels is coming soon and will be the biggest one yet!
  12. Thanks! I too really like that tree design, I modified Brother Steven's version a little bit Thank you Thank you, as for the studs showing from the trans clear, if I had built the base higher the last row of trans 1x2 bricks would have had to have been two rows of trans 1x2 plates which would have looked a little odd I think
  13. Here is my free build: Spear Fishing in the Mitgardian Clan Lands
  14. I experimented with some new techniques in this build: the water, the snow, and the trees. The water and trees original designs are by Buurli_Burri and Brother Steven. The snow design is new as far as I know, basically you use white tiles set on top of dark bley slopes. To keep the tiles from falling off you build around them a bit with other slopes/bricks etc. The pictures should show what I mean. A Mitgardian Clansmen goes spear fishing in the snowy Clanlands. Any C&C appreciated
  15. As Gabe said you really captured an underwater feel well in that section of the build Very scary looking figs, perfect for Nocturnus
  16. Welcome Duke! Glad to have you in the Northern guild I finished a free build today, I'll post it tonight or tomorrow
  17. One of the, if not the most impressive LEGO cathedral I've seen The landscape is excellent and the cathedral being set at an angle is great The walls being built out of plates and tiles gives a very realistic feel and the stain glass windows are magnificent. Each piece of the display that I've seen has been tremendous, I wish I could fly to England to see them all hooked together
  18. Incredible lighting As others said the horses half sunken into the swamp are a neat detail and the olive leaves fit nicely with the swamp atmosphere
  19. Thanks Thank you
  20. This looks very much like your inspiration The roof of the main building is really neat and I like the fence design in the back. One thing I would change: add a door handle to the green door. Excellent build
  21. Looks like he's going to find one of those mythical creatures. Your snow looks pretty good I'd suggest adding another color to the build somewhere, maybe some frozen water in the ditch he's going over; or some scraggly looking plants or something. Cool build
  22. I love the shape and color blocking The brick built lettering and fins on the back are also excellent
  23. Great SHIP, the engine pods are very cool and I the detailed interior. Excellent use of CMF baseplates too
  24. Thank you Thanks! Good point about the cranes, I was mainly focusing on having them work, and should have added some cross bracing at the ends or something
