Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

New Freebuild: -
This was an extremely fun build. I tilted the wood sections using ball joints, for the first time. The idea of the build was to create a wacky, and whimsical atmosphere. Hence the unusual colorscheme for the build. There's a full interior, and the elevator actually works. Also Amfridus has devised a bucket system whereby he procures water without leaving his home. Glorfindel's inventor friend, Gimcrack, was going to visit another inventor named Amfridus who lived in Avalonia. Glorfindel decided to accompany Gimcrack and see how the Mitgardian-Avalonian relations were faring after the recent crisis. Amfridus' home wasnt too far from the Mitgardian border, and they soon arrived at the winding path leading to Amfridus' tower and workshop: Amfridus, himself: His cave workshop: Bucket system, inside: See more pictures of the build here: link And see Gimcrack's house here: link C&C welcome

Always great to see another GoH harbor! The buildings look great, very cool color choices Lots of neat boat designs as well -
One of my favorites from you The exposed studs in the stone work look great here, as do the vines peeping out You did an amazing job implementing the round tower and roof
-
There's gold in them thar halls! Another incredible module, the sheer size is impressive, but as always you've included lots of unique architecture And lovely interiors too, especially the barracks

Very cool landscape, LittleJohn. The angled water and trees are especially cool, and I like the goats being watered

Good to see you building again, Alfadas! Neat selection of weapons and I like the little boy admiring the sword -
That wall design is terrific Lots of neat details around the shop, and the path looks very natural with its gradual curves

Great use of color in the water and on the landscape Perfect fig posing and head choice too

Very impressive castle! I'm a big fan of hinging buildings and full interiors with ways to access them via ladder or stairs. So I like this a lot. Makes me want to try another hinging castle soon
-
Excellent little hut there And this is my favorite use of your fence design so far! Neat color choices in the landscape

Very interesting build, not sure if I want to think about where the blood comes from ... Great to see you trying a build set in another guild, I like the ground texturing and plant life

I like how the cutaway shows the palisade stakes buried in the ground Neat battlements and stairs too

Such lovely environments for your CMFs The small doorway and gold accents in the imp scene look great. The use of height in the berserk build, is incredible, such a lovely treehouse and swamp Very cool castle for the dark wizard, quite a clever roof there. Beautiful colorscheme and detailing with the bat trainer's manor, not to mention the very detailed interior. Hope you make some more CMF environments

Good interior scene, I like the stone floor and wooden wall While the darker pictures are pretty neat to give an interesting atmosphere, and fire effect, it would be nice to have one well lit overview picture so we can see the details better

I always very much enjoy your stories, and this is no exception Good sand texturing and a neat border, the blue works well here. Nice pose with Itiz peeking through the curtains as well

Cool build, I like the colorscheme and small stream Nice continuation to your storyline as well. I think the landscape looks a little blocky in some sections, especially in front of the gate where you have the 6x8 dark tan plate. Pretty much always try to have transition between colors be more organic and gradual than a straight line.
