The interior is lovely! The ladder for the bookshelves is a great touch, and I like the chairs Nice work on the exterior too, though I think a window or two in the side tan wall would look nice- 16 replies

What a story I think mummies and the fear of water are well solidified in people's minds after so many Challenge builds portraying it... Great stair design in the first build

Book II, Chal IV - Kaliphlin Civil War (Results Posted)

Countless citizens of Kaliphlin lost their homes, belongings, and even loved ones during the drawn out war between the High Council, Desert King, and Ulandus. Many chose to take what little they had left and travel with makeshift caravans, to try and find a haven from the constant strife, whether within Kaliphlin or another guild: C&C welcome

The Algus Saga: Alexander fortress (pic heavy!)
soccerkid6 replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hard to find suitable adjectives for this build ... I guess I'll start with the overall look, and layout of the build: the huge fortress in the back draws the eye nicely, while the winding path, lovely house, and wall (such amazing use of chairs!) all fit together perfectly Now onto specific buildings, the fortress is simply magnificent. So huge yet detailed, even on the inside! Your unique texturing, and battlements look superb, while the crane up top is a sweet bonus. The pillar designs on the first floor, and furniture throughout are beautiful Wonderful use of dark green for various tables and chairs, and the micro map is really neat. The barracks looks suitably sturdy, and the combination of dark bley, dark red, and reddish brown is gorgeous. Incredible roofs, and the side stairway entrance is quite clever. Genius parts usage on the interior stair case too The craftsman's house looks so whimsical, I love the heaps of stuff leaning against it, and the chickens are a great touch. You packed tons of fun details into the whole model, like the kid rescuing a cat, and lady sweeping. Also, you managed to include tons of Mitgardian sig figs! Wonderful build, one of the most impressive GoH MOCs ever -

Challenge IV HC Cat B: de Gothia in the Kaliphlin civil war
soccerkid6 replied to de Gothia's topic in Guilds of Historica
Sweet group of builds! I like the wooden pillars in the first MOC, and you made good use of that shade of blue in the "Feeding the Hungry" build. The caravan is a fun little build, neat barrel design Great house layout in "Examination", with the arbor being a nice detail. Excellent rockwork and barricade in the attack on the desert king too -
Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
soccerkid6 replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
New freebuild: -
Many sinister rumors had been heard throughout Mitgardia, concerning a new foe from the North, but there were few reliable reports of what exactly was happening. Official messengers had been dispatched to various cities and villages across Mitgardia to inform them of the little that was known for sure: strange white warriors were attacking, and Mitgardia would need to stand united to withstand them. A new fortress, Rekkrfell, was being constructed as a bastion against the frozen folk, and all able Mitgardian warriors were called to rally to it. A messenger warns the watchmen at Nordheim's gate: Video showing construction: C&C welcome, it was good to build in Mitgardia again
