  1. Man. 51 km/h is like 30 mph!! That's CRAZY for a Lego car. I'm sure that might seem like "oh yeah, I made it go 51 km/h", but that's actually really impressive. Great job to both. I personally don't have the budget for RC non-Lego motors, and even if I did, I wouldn't take them as far because I personally prefer to use 100% Lego. Anyway, hopefully the Legos will hold up well. This is such a unique(ish) niche of Legos and motors combined that is really interesting.
  2. Dude, I saw this on rebrickable too and was curious what other details might be here. This is a wonderful model, especially considering the fact that: 1) its small; 2) it has four motors, battery box, and gearbox crammed in; and 3) that it functions well and looks good. Quality MOC, definitely premium quality.

  4. Honestly, I think that some of the bodywork (sides, obviously rear, and personally, the angled fenders) could use a rework. However, it is large, and aesthetic details are hard to fabricate well. Good luck!
  5. Yo! This is crazy cool! Already checked it out on rebrickable too! I seriously wish that I had the needed parts and had enough money to spend on this MOC. I would buy this, and I do support people who create premium MOCs, as long as they are good enough. If I had a full time job and had more money, I would buy more, but as of right now, I am a TFOL limited to my own creativity and free MOCs.

  7. So, I know that it is a bit late to reply to you lol. However, you can use a negative to do what you wish. If you say "(not) all keys pressed" it will stop. In order to make it go forward, backward, etc., you need to give it certain commands, e.g., "motor A rotate forward, motor B rotate backward"

  9. Ok, nice MOC! Also, I just jumped into this conversation, but what motor are you using and how did you mount it? Is it similar to vergogneless's, where it has mounts that fit Lego? Also, @Lixander, what software did you use for this render? It doesn't look like studio, especially with the non-Lego elements in there.
  10. @vergogneless, Thanks for all the info! Although I do not (well, try not to) use non-Lego materials in my builds, I DEFINITELY understand using metal or non-Lego elements to get the model done. I can't wait to see the next model, although I probably will not build it, only look and admire because of the custom pieces. Hopefully the parts you are getting will improve your car's performance and handling with less wear! As for Rebrickable, I totally understand how its hard to create instructions for people, and how its hard for them to actually make the model. However, if you send me pictures, especially pictures of the mechanics and mounting points, etc., I could probably recreate your model in Stud.io. I would use a supplemental motor, similar to this, except for the hobby motors. If you decide to not take me up on my offer, it is totally understood, but I think that if I can make this model on Rebrickable (making sure people know which parts aren't Lego and are necessary), then more people would be able build this. Again, feel free to reject this idea. I'm just trying to help promote your models and Youtube. Anyway, I get not wanting to make larger models. I personally enjoy making them, but designing them well is hard, and that's without any of the issues you deal with! So, I will continue to be on the lookout for your models.   11. Agreed. Mine is quite noisy, but I think that something inside is loose and rattling, which is causing the noise.

  13. Hey everyone! I started this topic because I have (and use) control+ in my MOCS. However, there isn't a dedicated thread on Eurobricks for control+ MOCS. Hence this exists. Firstly, what hub is most commonly used? I have 22127, but I also use the Spike Prime Hub 88012 to control my models. I prefer 88012 because it is smaller and more compact and it also uses different coding: either Python or Scratch. Which is easier to use for everyone else?
  14. ok, so its a part that is compatible with Lego, but not. Too bad that it isn't entirely Lego, but then again, you also have non-Lego motors in it lol. I hope you make another soon. Have you thought about posting your MOCs on Rebrickable? And also, it would be interesting to see how a larger model does with the motor. Just something to think about ;).

  17. Wow! I can't believe that fits perfectly! Did you buy it and then realize it, or did you purposely buy it knowing that? Also, is the liftarm on the back of the motor actual lego? It has weird markings on it.
  18. @Blocker_Buddy, If you have the 51515 Robot Inventor Hub or Spike Prime Hub, you can connect the motors to that and use it to program the motors. (Scratch or Python)
  19. I'm curious, how exactly did you attach the motors and batery so securely to the car if the y don't have any LEGO mounts? (Especially with the round brushless motor, which would probably try to spin.)

  21. Dude this is INSANE! I was reading the post and kept being continually astounded by how much detail, thought, care, and precision was put into this LEGO car. I am blown away, and hope many others also get to enjoy it. Unfortunately, my collection isn't nearly large enough to have even most of these pieces, and my money is, lets just say, somewhat limited LOL. Great job, keep up the good work!

  25. I have started using Studio to make small scale instructions. However, when making instructions, I need to push in an axle in the instructions, thus changing its initial position. Is there a quick, simple way of doing this?
