Hey everyone! Today I present to you: My RC tracked snowplow! For propulsion, I used 1 Spike Prime M-Motor to drive each tread with a 1.67:1 gear ratio. This enables it to make a perfect zero point turn. The two Control+ M-Motors seen above control the lifting and angling of the plow blade via two large linear actuators. The plow is easily removed by pulling the red 6L axle out of the front teal axle-pin connectors in the center of the plow and disconnecting the 5L black liftarm connected to the linear actuator that controls the blade angle. The hub is accessible by lifting the roof, and the blade can be easily stored inside the vehicle: Here are photos of the code and control panel: I did not make instructions for this, BUT I am planning on making a similar vehicle: a tracked RC offroader. Although it will be similar, there will be some major differences and upgrades. I DO plan to make instructions for that.

Wait they are making a Fast and Furious Supra? I'm assuming it is Speed Champions, right? -

[TC27] Ford Transit Connect (2008)
bruh replied to bruh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@Divitis Thanks! I looked at it, and it is too small. However, that is an ingenious design! Do you have directions for it, or just that post? @efgen86, thanks for clearing that up! I really didn’t read the rules apparently! I went over them again and realize that now. I will post pics once I change the model. I’m thinking I’ll change it to 2 motors. That will give it ample power and will still allow me the use of more motors. In the model- 18 replies

[TC27] Ford Transit Connect (2008)
bruh replied to bruh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey guys! Update time! I’ve been working on the frame, which needs to have the wheels 11 studs apart. However, I’m stuck on the steering. If anybody has a 11 stud wide front axle model without suspension? If possible, this would be appreciated.- 18 replies

That’s cool! Also, I know I can’t copy the actual vehicle, and my skills are not, well, skillful enough to perfectly replicate it. Also, I’m doing the short wheelbase version.- 18 replies

[TC27] Ford Transit Connect (2008)
bruh replied to bruh's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ok guys, I’m sorry for the confusion. Firstly, @Milan, I am basing it off of the transit connect, which is the smaller, more compact version. (See photo below) The scale is actually correct, by the way. And if it isn’t, we’ll, I’m not gonna win. That’s crazy!! What part/ section did you work on?? Also, as required, here are some pics: (there isn’t much, I’m still working, but I am required to put them, so here ya go) So, not much. However, I am still working on it!- 18 replies

OK. Man, either I missed that or I totally forgot! I'll just base it off of that, instead of making it exactly.- 18 replies

This van is going to be my entry to the TC27 competition. The reason for making this van is that it is honestly one of my favorite everyday cars. Although I do not drive yet, (5 more months!!) I would like to buy this car. So, this is the closest I can get right now lol. So far, I don't have much; I just started working on a torsion bar for the rear suspension. It is still in progress, so I do not have much to show, at least nothing that wouldn't be embarrassing. My vehicle will be in 1:8.3 scale, which means that (according to Sariel's Model Scaler) it will be about 40 studs long. Hopefully, I will be able to finish it out.

[TC27] Lime dump truck
bruh replied to efgen86's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yeah, I'm actually impressed with how much he's done in only like a day or two. Personally, (I am also doing the contest) I am probably going to end up using most of the allotted time to build something. -
I know! I have an idea, but we'll see if it works out. Also, @everybrickasculpture, I'm pretty sure that brushless motors aren't allowed. If I'm correct, @Jim, they have to be Lego compatible, like Buwizz and SBrick, right? Also, one more thing. Are studfull pieces allowed as a kind of submodel? For instance, an engine. From a non-functional viewpoint, it would look more realistic if it was made of studfull pieces. Would that be allowed? BTW, I know that we are discussing the life and breath out of this topic, so sorry lol.

One question: the rules state that it needs to be a studless entry; is it allowed to use studfull pieces for decoration, on the inside and outside? Or is that also not allowed? /Also, is Buwizz allowed?? Earlier, someone asked if they could control a model using Buwizz, but that's not Lego! Thoughts?

Lixander`s corner - W.I.P.s
bruh replied to Lixander's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ok. those prices and website are good to know about if I DO decide to delve into after-market motors + legos. I think that its crazy that Lego is being so crazily challenged. I don't know if anybody has done this before.- 224 replies

Which ones? I'm assuming you mean the smaller ones, right? Those are cool, I would like to see a larger version in the future.
