  1. Meanwhile the Green Lanterns: *Hal Jordan no-scoping Yellow Lanterns left and right,* *Guy Gardner vaporising the alien bounty hunter that went after his family* and *John Stewart blowing up 2 planets.*
  2. One does not simply summon Turtle. Hold on. We need to get a new Robin before they go down that rabbit hole. Hey @Clone OPatra can I please make a request? In light of how insane we’ve become can the 2025 thread please be named: Lego Aslume (Batman and DC superheroes) 2025 set rumours and discussion.
  3. RTG style concepts: Sith Gunship (£129.99): 2 Shadow Pilots, 2 Clone Shadow Troopers, Dark Side Yoda and Jedi Palpatine. (Black and Red republic gunship) Rebel AT AT (£129.99): 3x Clone Troopers, Inquisitor Ahsoka, Darth Kenobi and Rebel Commander Grievous. Sith A-Wing (£29.99): Tie Pilot, Grand Admiral Ackbar and Jedi Maul. T-6 Sith Shuttle (£69.99): Inquisitor Cal Kestis, Grand Moff Mothma, Tie Baron Solo and Rebel Captain Thrawn (Chiss Ascendancy Uniform.) (Gray and Black T-6) Liberator One (£59.99): Rebel Boba Fett, Darth Windu and Jedi Dooku. Anyone else have potential “Shattered Glass” style ideas?
  4. It’s just a fun roast of everyone’s favourite characters. Nice break from superman being roasted by Turtle. No need for counter points because most of us already know that they’re all great characters no matter how questionable some of their actions or weaknesses have been. Let’s continue: Martian Manhunter: Addicted to Oreo’s because they’re the equivalent of heroin to Martian physiology. He’s also afraid of fire, which is understandable, but if he overcomes that fear he becomes an evil demon for some reason. Powergirl: Besides from possibly being charged with the obvious public indecency she could also be convicted of grooming Hal Jordan (Ironic) that time he lost his memories. Green Arrow: Child endangerment of his sidekick Speedy, who later became a drug addict. As a result of Speedy’s drug addiction Green Arrow then physically abused Speedy once Hal Jordan had left the area. He has also physically assaulted: Batman, Hawkman and Kyle Rayner. Nightwing: Cheated on Star-fire with Barbara Gordon and subsequently invited Barbara to his wedding on the way out, used Barbara Gordon’s disability against her in argument (when she was paralysed), broke the bro code against Batman with Catwoman, Killed all DC heroes and Villains in Nightwing New World Order, ripped out Batman’s heart and killed or turned everyone into vampires in DC vs Vampires, became a psychotic Batman in the altered time line where the Waynes were never murdered and became the Joker in another elseworld. In short he definitely lives up to his name of Dick. Anyone else have any other characters that you would like to roast?
  5. I also agree. I wonder if Lego’s going to do something as creative as this next year?
  6. I honestly can’t remember. But it’s still pretty incriminating either way. Let’s see: She switches Wonder Girls every 5 minutes, got her mother turned into clay during the New 52, she’s a deadbeat mother to Hunter Prince in that one future timeline, most evil person in the Injustice universe, got outsmarted by Jonkler and was knocked out by and switched clothes with Harley Quinn. Who’s next on the agenda?
  7. I’m primarily a Lantern fan so I’m just doing this for jonks. No, no, no. Flash is next. His weakness is literally his ADHD. And he was played by Ezra Miller. That’s it. Alright that’s Flash done. Who’s next? Wonder Woman?
  8. Ah. So let’s see. Alan Scott: Deadbeat Dad Hal Jordan: Paedophile and Parallax Guy Gardner: Paedophile, Darkstar and Red Lantern. John Stewart: Killed 2 planets. Kyle Rayner: Parallax (however this is cancelled out by virtue of him becoming space Jesus when he became a white lantern) Simon Baz: Car Thief and Let Sinestro run around doing his own thing unsupervised. (During Rise of The First Lantern) Jessica Cruz: Power Ring, Red Lantern and Yellow Lantern Therefore it looks like Jo Mullein is the most moral out of all the GLs. However this is by sheer virtue of her not being around long enough for the Writers to make her do something questionable. With Kyle coming up in second place.
  9. It looks like evil C3P0 definitely does have arm printing on his gold arm. So that’s nice. And it probably means that it’s the standard for protocol droid figs from now now.
  10. But true. The Black Lantern that Kyle fought in Blackest Night was the literal fridge with his undead girlfriend inside it. JLA Classified #5
  11. Guy also, much like Hal, has to fend off the FBI frequently. Due to that time he had indecent thoughts about and almost groped Mary Marvel.
  12. Turtle be like: Oh you’re gonna like this Wouldn’t mind getting some of the suit designs in minifigure form.
  13. Ya know, this repetitive debate is kinda reminding me of this scene in The Killing Joke: Have to say. I admire you for standing up for your beliefs, no matter how many people disagree with you.
  14. I am inclined to agree in some cases. I think it’s great that Lego’s being creative. But I feel like 1-2 sets based off their new thing should be the maximum. I think that Jedi Bob’s star fighter and the Dark Falcon are rather worthy of their slots. It’s just the X-Wing and Tie Fighter which I find ridiculous. Especially seeing as that’s going to be a rather short-lived set as it only has characters that will show up in RTG. And therefore the remake/ remakes which will have to happen within two years are going to unnecessarily take up 1-2 future set slots. Set slots that could be used for new things based off old and/ or (Andor!!) new content.
  15. Snyder in his latest movie gave some crops a better character arc than the actual main characters.
  16. Wait. So does that confirm that the Endurance will be minifig scale and come with mini figures?
  17. The events of Venom 2 were referred to by some police officers in Morbius. Haven’t seen the film. But my friends showed me the clip. Happy to be of service.
  18. Thank you for all your answers on the Quarren head mystery. Anywho, the Clone Bros’ outrage at the lack of Clone Sets this summer is starting to surface. Mandr himself is now blaming the Dark Falcon for taking up the Clone Set’s slot. It’s honestly sad to see a sizeable part of the online LSW community feel entitled to have the largest playset out of any faction every year. Anyone have any inverted affiliation character predictions for RTG. It would be funny to see Grand Admiral Ackbar. But I’m not sure whether Lego would go that deep.
  19. I was more talking about Batman’s child endangerment tendencies (*Jason Todd, Damian Wayne and Tim Drake have entered the chat.*) Superman’s fine because all his sidekicks are indestructible. @legoturtle Superman 2025 is going to introduce general Audiences to the wider DC universe and more heroes. More so than any previous Superman movie has done. So there’s that.
  20. Anyone else think it’s weird that Lego made a brand new, highly detailed Quarren head mould in 2022 and haven’t used it since? I mean they could have easily made a Quarren rebel by now.
  21. We really reigniting this argument again? Superman: Existed before Batman Brings out the best in other heroes when he teams up with them Morally superior to Batman In many ways more relatable than Batman Fortress of solitude. Doesn’t need a vehicle. Origin story has more and better consequences to DC lore than Batman’s Also Excels in animation Has a good Rogues gallery (but not as good as Batman’s) Could squash Batman like a bug if he really wanted to. Fair play with the genre versatility though. And now for a wildcard, Green Lantern: Good friends with Batman Range of different versions to suit personality preferences Range of Fun personalities Can create literally anything with their imagination Fights crime in space Arguably has the best lore out of all the DC heroes Excellent (but smaller) Rogues Gallery Retains their humanity even with the powers of the GL ring.
  22. Right. You seem to be forgetting that KK has produced, and therefore been involved with, all of Disney Star Wars. Whilst quite a bit of it is bad/ mediocre there is still some good stuff she’s had a hand in. For example: Rebels, Rogue One, CWS7, the Mandalorian seasons 1-2, Bad Batch, Andor and Ahsoka. And don’t forget she worked on the first 3 Indiana Jones films. Which were perfect. The real perpetrators are the likes of JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson. My point is that, whilst she has done some things that she should definitely be called out for (green-lighting TROS for one), you can’t just blame her for everything that’s gone wrong with Star Wars. As that’s forgetting that she has done a lot of good things with the brand. And besides, many of the poor decisions came from the Disney higher ups themselves. Anyway I digress. Let’s get back to Aslume-posting.
  23. Very nice. I like it a lot. Well done. “We shall watch your career with great interest.” I would love to see some expansions to this phenomenal build.
  24. “What I remember about the rise of the sequels was how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Disney Acquisition the Mickey Mouse Legion was discreetly transferred back to Lucasfilm HQ. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do.” *3 hours later* EU: “Master Mickey, there’s too many of them. What are we going to do?” *decanoniser ignites*
