  1. Sentinel Attack (£29.99): Jubilee, Sunspot, Forge and Deadpool. X-Men 97 Porsche (£29.99): Cyclops, Jean Grey, Professor X and Cable. Comic Avengers Blister Pack (£12.99): Captain America (Classic), Ms Marvel (Classic), Vision (Classic) and Scarlet Witch (Classic).
  2. “Alright let’s do this one last time.” - Peter Parker. I like the night troopers. They look cool. But I really want a Stormtrooper BP to be next because it would have much more versatility. We don’t even know if, except for Enoch of course, they’re going to keep the red rags now that they’re back in the galaxy. As of now they’ve only been shown to fight on one planet. This is the same reason I don’t like the 332nd BP as much (aside from it having a named character). Stormtroopers, on the other hand, will have not had a BP in over six years by next year. So I’d say that stormtroopers, being the most common trooper type in Star Wars content, are in far dire need of a BP than the Night Troopers who have only as of yet been seen in one piece of content. Of course there are solutions to this conflict of interests. 1) They make an Imperial remnant BP with 2 Night Troopers and 2 Stormtroopers. 2) They make an imperial patrol gunship with Night Troopers as well as a normal Stormtrooper BP or Vice Versa. 3) They make both BPs in the same year. The last one being the least likely because of the damned “Clone Bros.” If I’m going to have to die on this hill, then so be it.
  3. I’m so sad that we’re never going to get *Title Card* sets. Hopefully one day Lego will make a CMF of all the more mature superhero franchises they haven’t done. They could include: *Title Card*, an updated Deadpool, Injustice characters and maybe even characters like Homelander and Arkham Batman. But they won’t. Which I’m at peace with at this point. And I know that I’m silly for wishing for such things. I’m also at peace with the possibility that Lego DC is dead and may never come back. Lego DC is gone. Lego Batman is all that remains.
  4. Mandr moment. Speaking of which. I would be interested to know you guys’ thoughts on the Rex’s Microfighter controversy. I think that it’s a good thing that allows kids to get a desirable character for a small price. And the only people who are complaining about it are those who were stupid enough to “Invest” in the venator’s figures. And are now salty that they can’t rob a Rex fan of $100-200.
  5. Here are a few ideas on how they could make the Mechs more like vehicles rather than character extensions. 1) Captain Rex mech: Twin blasters, Blue and white colour scheme and 2 Y-Wing engines mounted on the back mimicking a jetpack. 2) Tie Fighter mech: Blaster, a shield shaped like a tie wing and an enclosed cockpit. 3) Commander Cody mech: Republic Gunship wings, Republic Gunship colour scheme and wrist mounted rockets. Those are a few examples. Essentially mechs that are based off vehicles. My idea is that every couple of years Lego releases an imperial base component that can easily be connected with its predecessor and successor. Much like the Iron Man halls of Armour. Sort of like an imperial base Modular series. Here are a few ideas. Bunker Entrance: 2 stormtroopers, 2 scout troopers and a rebel commando. Bunker Corridor: 2 Stormtroopers, a scout trooper and a officer. Power generators: 2 DS troopers, Rebel Commando and a Imperial officer. Command centre: 2 DS troopers, a stormtrooper and a ranked DS trooper. Basically Lego releases one of these every year and you can connect them to make a large imperial facility. Then they could make a MBS imperial hangar that could also be connected to this series. I just want to see the people who “invested” in the Venator’s figures to watch their silly philosophy burn to the ground. I want it to happen because I want to see the pure chaos that would ensue. I would settle for an ISD microfighter with Thrawn though.
  6. Long live the legions of mighty Cthulhu!! A sea based faction would mean we could finally get some medieval style ships! I’ve voted Kraken because it’s the first time we’ve had the opportunity to get a non-land-based faction. I understand if you want Griffin. But c’mon, the crows and Bulls have been done before and are factions don’t really have anything unique going for them aside from their insignias. The Krakens on the other hand have the opportunity to bring in an aquatic section to castle lore. Something that I don’t think we’ve seen since the Troll warship. Plus it appears to have a gorgeous colour-scheme. So in short I’m advocating for Krakens because it will be an interesting and unprecedented addition to Castle’s lore. Vote Kraken!!
  7. I never said the test score was good. It was mediocre at best. I just said that it scored higher than Black Adam.
  8. @ArrowBricks Sorry if my points came off as rude. But those are some good counterpoints. Anyway back to wish listing. In general things that I hope Lego does 1) Bring back the 3 battlepacks per year system. One villain BP, one Hero BP, and one super BP. Normal BPs release in Jan and the Super BP releases in August. 2) More Mechs that feel like vehicles instead of extensions to their figures. Much like this year’s X-Wing mech. Though preferably no mechs at all. 3) Imperial base sets that are compatible in a way akin to the Iron man halls of armour. Videogame CMF 1) Cal Kestis (Jedi Survivor): Dual moulded legs, arm printing, BD1 accessory, blaster and Blue Crossguard lightsaber. 2) Kyle Katarn (Dark Forces): Lightsaber, Blaster and moulded shoulder pad accessory. 3) Cere Junda (Jedi Survivor): Lightsaber, Holocron and Cape. 4) Nightsister Merrin (Jedi Fallen Order): Broken Crystal Ball, Hood piece, translucent green spell piece and Hair piece. 5) Second Sister (Jedi Fallen Order): Lightsaber, Helmet, Hairpiece and Holocron. 6) Dark Side armour Starkiller (TFU2): 2 lightsabers and Broken Vader helmet. 7) Boss (Republic Commando) 8) Scorch (Republic Commando) 9) Sev (Republic Commando) 10) Fixer (Republic Commando) 11) Rebel Iden Versio (BF2): Hair piece and Pilot helmet. 12) Darth Nihillus (KOTOR) Lightsaber. Novels and Comics CMF 1) Mara Jade 2) Random High Republic Jedi from comics 3) Abeloth 4) Senior Captain Thrawn (Ascendancy Trilogy) 5) Arc Trooper Alpha (CW Comics) 6) Grand Admiral Pellaeon 7) Jaina Solo 8) Jacen Solo (Darth Caedus) 9) Admiral Ar’alani (Ascendancy Trilogy) 10) Doctor Aphra 11) Mr Bones 12) Sixth Brother 2025 January predictions: Venator microfighter (£12.99): Admiral Yularen. Captain Rex Brickheadz (£12.99) Stormtrooper Battlepack (£19.99): 3x stormtroopers and a stormtrooper Commander. Acolyte Set (£49.99-79.99)
  9. Agreed. Maybe the real Aslume were the WB executives we hated along the way. Road Runner should be Flash, Tasmanian Devil should be Red Tornado and Tina Russo should be Hawkgirl. Elmer Fudd as Lex Luther, Wile E. Coyote as Captain Cold and Yosemite Sam as Sinestro. They really cancelled Batgirl, even though it had a higher test score than Black Adam, because they thought that the Rock would really change the hierarchy of power in the DC universe. It would have been interesting to see how that film turned out. Especially since quite a few big-shot actors were attached to it. But no, Warner Bros blatantly mishandled the franchise yet again. And it would have probably received a set if hadn’t been cancelled!
  10. Do we know whether the figs in teh X-Mansion will have their primary suits or their secondary suits (the ones they put on towards the end of the season) because honestly I’m not a big fan of the secondary suits and honestly think the primary suits look way better.
  11. Unironically Daffy Duck as Green Lantoon was peak fiction. Why won’t Warner Bros make a Looney Toons Justice League Movie?!! That’s the way it tends to be for most Licensed Lego Magazines. Most come with builds only a few come with figs. The only magazine that I think gets figs every month is Ninjago. It’s come to my attention that we’ve been sane for a week now. Do we want rectify that? Or leave our sanity be?
  12. Why’s he wearing the armour then? That’s very interesting. Is it always this quiet on the forum at this time of year? When we know most of the details for the remaining sets. Or have discussed them to the grave. But we haven’t actually gotten new reveals. I hope we get January 2025 rumours soon. The excitement in this forum appears to peak when we discuss initial leaks. But it’s all fun.
  13. Firstly, how dare you disrespect Andor like that. It was a masterpiece! Secondly, I agree. I’m still upset that we’ve only ever gotten 1 Endor Bunker. Imperial base sets are hard to come by. I really need one for all my imperial trooos to garrison. (That’s why I was so hyped when we thought the ISD was a DS playset) Hell they could do a whole SW Modular series. Each component being from a different planet.
  14. I like these ideas but I have a few things to note. Unless RTG is going to be a huge success I think that Lego’s going to be done with it after this August. I know that I’m beating a dead horse with this statement but I would honestly prefer and think it’s more likely that there’s a normal Stormtrooper battlepack next year. It would have been 6 years since the last one and 2025 has 3 significant things going for it that makes stormtroopers extremely relevant. 1) 45th anniversary of ESB, 2) 10th Anniversary of Rebels and 3) Andor S2. I don’t think Rey’s Speeder warrants a 4+ set. The design and build are simplistic enough already. I definitely see a couple of Acolyte sets happening. Or maybe just one. I think you are bang on the money with those MIDI scale predictions. For May the only thing that I think is unlikely is the UCS B-Wing. I feel like that slot is going to go to a UCS Jedi interceptor. I could absolutely see the Kashyyyk Battlepack happening. August I’m not sure that Lego will make a cloud car by itself. Simply because l’m not sure whether it’s a vehicle kids find cool enough by itself. I doubt there will be a FO Tie Fighter. Since we’re getting an imperial one which is too similar in design this August. Whilst I would love a republic Frigate I honestly see there being a Turbo Tank next year for £159.99. Figs being: Commander Gree, 41st Clone Trooper, Tarful, Luminara Unduli, Yoda (Preferably Quinlan Vos though) and B1 Battledroid (x2) Hoth is a very good shout. It’s been far too long. Though after Yavin’s backlash I don’t know whether they’d actually do that before making an imperial equivalent.
  15. DC Elsewords CMF 1) Batman (Flashpoint) 2) Yellow Lantern Superman (Injustice) 3) Vampire Wonder Woman (DC vs Vampires) 4) Green Canary (DCeased) 5) Lois Lane Red Tornado (Earth 2) 6) Death Storm (Earth 3) 7) Batman Who Laughs (Dark Multiverse) 8) Black and White Lantern Sinestro (Dark Multiverse) 9) Hawkman (Kingdom Come) 10) Dr Manhattan Flash (Wally West, I know this one technically isn’t a elseworld version but it happened during a multiversal event) 11) Aquawoman (Earth 11) 12) Supergirl (Dark Knights of Steel) I have ideas for other Series so please let me know if you’d like to hear them.
  16. Disney’s apparently going to be scaling back the quantity of content in favour of quality. https://amp.theguardian.com/film/article/2024/may/07/disney-bob-iger-movie-output Could this mean that Lego’s going to have some breathing space to be more experimental (Legends based sets?) and satisfy the horde of Clone Bros? Or will it just mean that we get more sets per show? Or less sets in general?
  17. Vader looks exactly as I expected. And now we wait for the arrival of our one true master. Darth Jar Jar.
  18. Oh hell yes! May I also suggest an additional add on kind of set to your Battle of Endor idea so that people with not as large a budget will be able to get some kind of imperial bunker. Endor Imperial control post (£109.99): 2x stormtroopers, 1x scout trooper, 1x Death Star trooper, 1x Ranked Death Star Trooper, 1x imperial army officer and 2x rebel commandos. (Based off Battlefront map including: hill integrated bunker entrance, command terminal section, Corridor, Stairway and power generators.
  19. Hopefully. I’m not planning on getting any other sets this summer, except for the ISD, but I still would like to see the execution on those sets. Especially why the Sarlaac pit is sooo expensive and whatever the Jonk the Coughing Baby (Young Leia) set is.
  20. Great to hear that you’ve decided to broaden your horizons. If you want any good comic recommendations I’m sure we’ll all be happy to give some. It’ s definitely one of the best. But I also thought that Rise of the Third Army, Rise of the First Lantern and Darkseid war (Hal Jordan’s one-shot in particular was just… Beautiful.) were all very good. Sometimes I think the New 52 was over-hated. Sure there were some things that sucked (Red Hood and the Outlaws and the erasure of the JSA for example) but you have to admit a lot of the updated character designs and Storylines were actually pretty darn cool. Though the execution for a few of those was a bit off.
  21. Lanterns CMF Series 1) White Lantern Kyle Rayner (New 52) 2) Yellow Lantern Superman (Injustice) 3) Blue Lantern Guy Gardner 4) Red Lantern Supergirl (new 52) 5) Parallax (Hal Jordan) 6) Ganthet (Blue Lantern) 7) Say’d (Orange Lantern) 8) Larfleeze 9) Dawnbreaker (obligatory Batman reference) 10) Saint Walker 11) Blue Lantern Flash 12) Star Sapphire Wonder Woman 13) Yellow Lantern Scarecrow 14) Omega Lantern Kyle Rayner 15) Black and Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Rise of the First Lantern) 16) Red Lantern Bleez (Dextarr accessory) Actual sets Batman the Brave and the Bold Bat-Mech (£49.99): Blue Cowl Batman, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, bearded Aquaman and the Music Meister. Green Lantern Titan Mech (£99.99): Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Jessica Cruz, Supergirl and Sinestro. (Inspired by recent Ninjago Titan Mechs and the recent GL one in Justice League vs Godzilla) TDKR Bat Pod vs Bane’s tumbler (£49.99): The Dark Knight, Bane, Commissioner Gordon and Talia Al Ghul. Blackgate Breakout (£29.99): Nightwing, Batgirl (Cassandra Cain), Punchline, Riddler and Zurr En Arrh Batman.
  22. Emerald Twilight, the entirety of Geoff John’s GL run, Rise of the Third Army, Rise of the First Lantern, Brightest Day, New 52 GL Corps run (my favourite iteration of Guy as a character), New 52 GL: New Guardians run (I personally really like it and it’s what really made me like Kyle Rayner as a character), New 52 Vol 4: Dark Days, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern corps (Rebirth), Green Lanterns (Rebirth) and Far Sector (haven’t read it myself but my friends tell me that it’s extremely good, in fact they assure me that it’s some of the best GL since the Geoff Johns era ended.) The holy trinity. I consider all these as one trilogy. Especially since it seems that the events of TDK trilogy did seem to happen in TLBM universe. Gentlemen, I now present to you my DC character ranking. (This may or may not be intentionally used to push Turtle further into the Lazarus Pit that is insanity.) 1) Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) 2) Dick Grayson (Nightwing/ Batman) 3) Clark Kent (Superman) 4) Kyle Rayner (Also Green Lantern) 5) Diana Prince (Wonder Woman, absolutely loved the New 52 run) 6) Bruce Wayne (Batman, a mentally unstable vigilante who beats up the more mentally unstable) 7) Wally West (Flash/ Kid-Flash) 8) Jessica Cruz (Green Lantern) 9) Sinestro 10) Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) Rate my ranking. Am I based? Or am I stupid?
  23. The R2 KT set. Are we even sure the fig list is even correct at this point. Because when you think about it 3x stormtroopers and 3x rebel troopers is an unprecedented combo of minifigures. Could it perhaps be an imperial stormtrooper, clone trooper and FO stormtrooper to represent the different eras of Star Wars. And then the rebels are opposing factions to the white armour throughout the eras. I’m just saying that I’m a bit sceptical of that fig list after the whole ISD debacle.
  24. Here’s my recommended order: 1) Brightest Day (it’s pre new 52), 2) GL V1: Sinestro, 3) Red Lanterns in Volume order. (The previous two occur at the same time and both lead into the Rise of the Third Army and Rise of the First Lantern.) 4) And then Sinestro Volume one as that occurs some time after Rise of the First Lantern. Oh and the GL that was doing a Batman I believe was Guy Gardner. He had lost his ring during Rise of The Third Army. He ended up in Jail for ruining a police raid though.
  25. We’ve covered the funniest GL moments yesterday but before we fridge the concept here’s two more. Anyway. Now let’s talk about our favourite moments in GL comics. Things that made you fall in love with the character.
