LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
CloneCommando99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Anyone else think it’s weird that Lego made a brand new, highly detailed Quarren head mould in 2022 and haven’t used it since? I mean they could have easily made a Quarren rebel by now. -
We really reigniting this argument again? Superman: Existed before Batman Brings out the best in other heroes when he teams up with them Morally superior to Batman In many ways more relatable than Batman Fortress of solitude. Doesn’t need a vehicle. Origin story has more and better consequences to DC lore than Batman’s Also Excels in animation Has a good Rogues gallery (but not as good as Batman’s) Could squash Batman like a bug if he really wanted to. Fair play with the genre versatility though. And now for a wildcard, Green Lantern: Good friends with Batman Range of different versions to suit personality preferences Range of Fun personalities Can create literally anything with their imagination Fights crime in space Arguably has the best lore out of all the DC heroes Excellent (but smaller) Rogues Gallery Retains their humanity even with the powers of the GL ring.

Right. You seem to be forgetting that KK has produced, and therefore been involved with, all of Disney Star Wars. Whilst quite a bit of it is bad/ mediocre there is still some good stuff she’s had a hand in. For example: Rebels, Rogue One, CWS7, the Mandalorian seasons 1-2, Bad Batch, Andor and Ahsoka. And don’t forget she worked on the first 3 Indiana Jones films. Which were perfect. The real perpetrators are the likes of JJ Abrams and Rian Johnson. My point is that, whilst she has done some things that she should definitely be called out for (green-lighting TROS for one), you can’t just blame her for everything that’s gone wrong with Star Wars. As that’s forgetting that she has done a lot of good things with the brand. And besides, many of the poor decisions came from the Disney higher ups themselves. Anyway I digress. Let’s get back to Aslume-posting.

[M4-24 - Coruscant] - Coruscant Lower Markets
CloneCommando99 replied to SevenSevenSeven's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Very nice. I like it a lot. Well done. “We shall watch your career with great interest.” I would love to see some expansions to this phenomenal build. -
“What I remember about the rise of the sequels was how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Disney Acquisition the Mickey Mouse Legion was discreetly transferred back to Lucasfilm HQ. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do.” *3 hours later* EU: “Master Mickey, there’s too many of them. What are we going to do?” *decanoniser ignites*

🫠 I’m confused. The Turtle’s Acolyte has at last revealed themselves to the Jedi! Also what would you actually say the primary “Legends event” was? Anywho. The attempt on my insanity has left me scared and stupid. But my resolve has never been stronger! To ensure an insane society, Henceforth this discussion thread shall be reorganised into the first Lego Marvel Aslume!! -

Meanwhile DC gets literally nothing. Not even a CMF like marvel. No wonder we at the DC thread became an Aslume. 💀 -

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
CloneCommando99 replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
@Agent Kallus fun idea you have there. We could actually really do with a Jedi battlepack. It’s come to my attention that the rebels are arguably the LSW faction that are the weakest. (Clones being the strongest, with empire and separatists tied in second place.) Rebel Hardware. (Let’s face it, the rebels need some ground force buffs) A-A5 speeder truck (£29.99): 1 male Rebel Assault Trooper, 1 female Rebel Assault Trooper, 1 Rebel Heavy Trooper and a Rebel officer. T3-B heavy assault tank (£59.99): 1 Rebel Pilot, 1 Sullustan Rebel Desert trooper, 1 Human Rebel Desert trooper, 1 Urban Rebel Trooper and an Imperial Sandtrooper. Salvaged AT RT (£12.99): BF2 Endor Twilek Specialist and a BF2 Endor Zebrak Heavy Trooper. Anyone else have anything to add to rebel ground force ideas? -
Future LEGO Pirates Set Speculation
CloneCommando99 replied to David Thomsen's topic in LEGO Pirates
With Space getting a revamp and special focus this year from Lego, could it be possible that each year Lego has will have an emphasis on one of their more classic themes. And if so we may get some normal pirate sets next year, or the year after. (Please let their be an imperial flagship remake!) -
And Wonder Woman. It’s basically the same situation as Wonder Woman. Honestly the top 3 characters I’d like to get from Lego DC are: Kyle Rayner (GL), Donna Troy (Rebirth) and Wally West (Rebirth) Happy to be of service. My insane comrades, this is a sign that we should perhaps expand our Aslume’s dominion. We’ve already begun to penetrate the Marvel thread. Do we go through with the Aslume’s conquest?

I was rewatching the RTG trailer and I noticed that Anakin’s wearing his TCW armour. It probably isn’t, but could this be a tease for a new General Skywalker figure?
