It’s like how DC comics is with Nightwing at the moment. They’re betting too much on the buildable character sets at the moment. 1 or 2 a year is fine. But 4 is just baffling. Especially when there’s play-sets that are in desperate need of being made/ remade. I don’t think there are all that many kids who’d prefer a buildable character over a cool gunship, tank or base that’s compatible to the rest of their sets and figures. But hey… Lego’s the one that does the market research not me. (But let’s keep in mind how that market research turned out with Vidiyo.)

RIP modern Lego Indiana Jones. 2023-2023. You shall be missed. (It was probably inevitable as the villains of every set would be seen as either “racist stereotypes” or breaking Lego’s no real world military rule. No less them being Nazis, British Colonial Soldiers or Red Army soldiers.) Anyway it’s pretty understandable to see that Indy probably wouldn’t be able to last long as a theme in today’s political climate. And that’s not even covering the flop and utter disappointment that was Indy 5. I’m surprised that @legoturtle hasn’t turned this thread into an Aslume like the DC thread yet.

I thought the latest episode of the Acolyte was ok. Definitely not as bad as some of the “anti-woke” cry-babies were making it out to be. Though the chanting was most definitely cringe-worthy. Also I find it funny that, thanks to Kelnacca, we find out that Chewie’s been walking around naked the entire time. In total it was a 3/10 (no Yord or Jecki 🥲)

And then next year we’ll get a Venomized Ewok. I’m just wondering what the 2nd figure in Jedi Bob’s starfighter is. Clone Trooper? Geonosian Jedi? Ewok Bounty Hunter?

Either that or Lego’s waiting for the Skeleton Crew trailer to drop. As it looks like that set is coming in August. About the N-1, we knew a BOBF set was coming. We just didn’t know it was the N-1 until maybe 24 hours before they revealed it.

I might be in the minority with this one… but if they did Ratchet I would love it to be his TFP design. (With retractable Knife hands) This is because that is honestly my favourite version of Ratchet. Since it was my first proper introduction to him. (They could even include an Agent Fowler minifig)

I still stand with the ISD. I think it looks great and we were just let down by the rumours. ISD you have my Sword. Nien Nunb will be in the Sarlaac pit. Snoke is obviously Tech. Star Wars fans getting treated with inequality yet again. This is always the case with January sets as well for some reason. As in we always tend to get the latest reveals. But if there’s one fandom that deserves the inequality it’s probably ours.

Anakin’s a strange way to spell Obi-Wan. I was under the impression that either Palpatine or Plagueis had altered Shimi’s midichlorians to get her pregnant. But I think that was a fan theory that gained a lot of traction a while ago.

Hopefully next year we’ll get either: Ratchet, Soundwave, Shockwave or Megatron. If they did one as large as Megatron, they could theoretically make an in scale Arcee GWP.

Agreed. Any updated thoughts on the R2 KT set? I’m honestly hoping now that the figure list isn’t correct as it wouldn’t bode (Bode? Bode Akuna?! Traitor!!) well for a Stormtrooper Battlepack in January. Beach Troopers and Rebel Friend on the other hand….
