  1. One of these days I want Lego to acknowledge this moment in a Batcave set. This is why Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth is the GOAT!
  2. Darth Jar Jar doesn’t appear to have leg printing. What is this? Marvel?
  3. Hol’up. Venom 3 is set in the present day right? And Madame Web takes place in the early 2000s. The math ain’t mathing. He should at least be 15. Ah well… classic Sony.
  4. Agreed. It’s actually quite good. I admit I was wrong.
  5. Meanwhile DC gets literally nothing. Not even a CMF like marvel. No wonder we at the DC thread became an Aslume. 💀
  6. Wookies Zebraks They’ve done it before. But maybe not in this day and age where they’re cutting corners for maximum profit.
  7. Max Rebo Jr looks good but a bit creepy. I wonder if they’ll use the same mould in the sail barge.
  8. @Agent Kallus fun idea you have there. We could actually really do with a Jedi battlepack. It’s come to my attention that the rebels are arguably the LSW faction that are the weakest. (Clones being the strongest, with empire and separatists tied in second place.) Rebel Hardware. (Let’s face it, the rebels need some ground force buffs) A-A5 speeder truck (£29.99): 1 male Rebel Assault Trooper, 1 female Rebel Assault Trooper, 1 Rebel Heavy Trooper and a Rebel officer. T3-B heavy assault tank (£59.99): 1 Rebel Pilot, 1 Sullustan Rebel Desert trooper, 1 Human Rebel Desert trooper, 1 Urban Rebel Trooper and an Imperial Sandtrooper. Salvaged AT RT (£12.99): BF2 Endor Twilek Specialist and a BF2 Endor Zebrak Heavy Trooper. Anyone else have anything to add to rebel ground force ideas?
  9. With Space getting a revamp and special focus this year from Lego, could it be possible that each year Lego has will have an emphasis on one of their more classic themes. And if so we may get some normal pirate sets next year, or the year after. (Please let their be an imperial flagship remake!)
  10. And Wonder Woman. It’s basically the same situation as Wonder Woman. Honestly the top 3 characters I’d like to get from Lego DC are: Kyle Rayner (GL), Donna Troy (Rebirth) and Wally West (Rebirth) Happy to be of service. My insane comrades, this is a sign that we should perhaps expand our Aslume’s dominion. We’ve already begun to penetrate the Marvel thread. Do we go through with the Aslume’s conquest?
  11. So it does exist! Contrary to @Lego Nostalgia’s beliefs.
  12. I was rewatching the RTG trailer and I noticed that Anakin’s wearing his TCW armour. It probably isn’t, but could this be a tease for a new General Skywalker figure?
  13. Is Venom Horse now to this thread what Luigi’s Pizzeria was for the DC thread? As in a catalyst into the insanity of a Aslume? If so, I’m all for it.
  14. Ah yes. One of Luigi’s most notable henchmen.
  15. Thank you!! This is frankly what I’ve been trying to say. I’m just concerned about how easy they could potentially make a major continuity mistake. I am still excited to watch the Acolyte though, it’ll be interesting to learn about the High Republic through a piece of on-screen content that isn’t Jedi Survivor. And I know I may have come off as a bit over sensitive when I was stating my views earlier. But you guys have thankfully just said what I was trying to say in far better words than mine. Now let’s get back to Lego topics. Any last predictions for the Coughing Baby (Young Leia) set? Or are we still going off the assumption that it’s an ewok until proven otherwise.
  16. Kyle Rayner, Guy Gardner, Stephanie Brown, Cassandra Cain, Wonder Girl, Donna Troy, Doctor Fate, Alan Scott, Power Girl, Jon Kent, Mary Marvel, Red Lanterns, Larfleeze, Metallo, Blue Lanterns, White Lanterns, Aqualad, Toyman, Batwing, Booster Gold, Ted Kord blown away. What else do I have to say? We didn’t start the fire It was always burning since the world’s been turning We didn’t start the fire No, we didn’t light it But we tried to fight it.
  17. I thought you meant it was minifigure scale. As in ridiculously massive. And in scale with the Minifigure scale UCS AT AT.
  18. I know that the actors don’t have creative input. But I just find it weird that they haven’t exactly done research into the lore that they’re going to be part of. Unlike say: Benedict Cumberbatch, Henry Cavill, Robert Downey Junior, Hayden Christensen… the list goes on and on. I know it’s not an issue but it just annoys my inner mega-nerd a lot that people can’t even research common knowledge. Your mention of Alec Guiness is fair. But he was playing an unprecedented character in an unprecedented movie. I just feel like if there you are joining an established franchise you should verse yourself in the common knowledge. (In this case the Movies) I was just saying that since the Acolyte will take place 100 years before the Skywalker saga it can easily retcon things that are supposed to happen later in the timeline. For example: I’m worried that they won’t pay attention to the Sith being in hiding at the time, because we know there’s going to be a fight with all the Jedi. Including a child. Who Disney is obviously not going to kill. I’m sorry if I came off as the angry fan boy type. I just have concerns for potential impacts on canon that the slightest mistakes to detail could cause. And yes I realise that I may be over-sensitive on this topic. Anywho. Enough on my silly little worries. Let’s get back to Lego discussion. Yes to Legends sets. But unfortunately I can’t see them shifting all the focus away. Hol’ up.
  19. Very well. I think that the sets this year are quite good overall. Very well designed in my opinion. My one issue is that they’re limited to just Batman and his villains. However I’m most likely not going to get any DC sets this year since I’m prioritising Star Wars because of the great stuff that’s coming out for the 25th Anniversary. If I do get a DC set this year it will probably be the Batman Mech since it’s overall an excellent mech design. (However the one downside was the lack of effort on the Batman figure) Hopefully next year brings more mechs from wider corners of the DC universe. (C’mon Green Lantern Mech!!!)
  20. Venom horse construction figure when?
  21. He’s going through the his sanity arc. By the end of it he’ll realise that being insane is the superior method to being a Lego DC fan. Speaking of Character Arcs, whose turn is it to have a villain arc?
  22. Random Stuff Part 2 Darth Vader’s Sith Interceptor (£29.99): Vader, Commander Appo and a black Astromech. Gorian Shard’s Corsair (£109.99): Gorian Shard, 3x assorted pirates, Magistrate Greef Karga, the Mandalorian and the Armourer. Features: Mando’s N-1 micro build, pirate snubfighter microbuilds and a hangar launch system for the snubfighters. Phee Genoa’s shuttle (£79.99): Hunter, Wrecker, Crosshair, Omega, Phee and a CX clone assassin. 501st battlepack 3: Electric Boogalee (£19.99): P1 501st lieutenant, 2x P1 501st snowtroopers and a 501st ARF Trooper. Build is a republic snow speeder. Thrawn’s Quaters playset (£44.99): Agent Kallus, Thrawn, Ezra Bridger, Governor Pryce and a 7th fleet stormtrooper. Build incorporates: the entrance, a training room (complete with a DT droid) and Thrawn’s office. Partisan X-Wing (£54.99): Benthic “Two Tubes,” Chirrut Imwe, Astromech and an imperial Sand Trooper. Aldani Imperial Checkpoint (£24.99): Lieutenant Gorn, 2 Imperial Army troopers (Helmets), Disguised Cassian Andor (Capped Army Trooper) Night-sister Battlepack (£19.99): 2 undead nightsisters, 1 bow night sister and one blade nightsister. Build is a Dwarf Spider droid and a some Dathomir terrain. Imperial Juggernaut Transport (£99.99): Din Djarin (Tank trooper Disguise), Mayfield (Tanktrooper disguise), 2 battle-damaged stormtroopers and 2 Morak raiders. Separatist Defoliater (£49.99): P1 Commander Bly, Bandaged Anakin, Aayla Secura, Lok Durd and 2 B2 Battledroids. MBS Scarif Citadel (£399.99): Jyn Erso (Ground Crew Disguise), Cassian Andor (Officer Disguise), K2SO, Director Krennic, General Ramda, Ranked DS trooper, DS Trooper, 2 Death Troopers, 2 Shore Troopers, 2 Stormtroopers, Blaze Malbus and a Rebel Commando. This set would be in the same vein as the new Barad Dur. 1st level: jungle, master switch, Citadel entrance, Imperial Corridors, Armoury, terminal and Turbo lift entrance. 2nd Level: Entrance to Data vault, turbo lift exit and Command centre. 3rd Level: Data Vault, entrance hatch for Krennic and Death Troopers. Top level: Comms Array.
