Sorry. I thought it was Lockjaw. Just with his crown cropped out. I’m more a Labrador guy myself. (Lucky the Pizza Dog supremacy). But yes a Clone Commando probably couldn’t kill a dog because he would be subdued by their cuteness and also because the Dog is too powerful. I took a look. And geez. Turtle started his villain arc far before I realised. @legoturtle I bring to your attention to: Jace Fox Batman, Signal, Bluebird, Batwoman, Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown. All are what you probably perceive as “woke” members of the Batfamily. Yet where are half of them in sets? Your argument is flawed. That’s not even accounting for wider DC characters. Jo Mullein, Jon Kent, Yara Flor, John Stewart, Cyborg, Jessica Cruz, Vixen, Kaldur… the list goes on and on. Lego just doesn’t care as much about DC as Marvel. I feel like the reuse of only one figure in the Batman mech whilst the venom mech had two reused figures clarified that. Deal with it. It’s time you faced the truth.

@BrickBob Studpants I know that the book adaptations don’t need to be completely accurate to the book. I just found that ROP has some agitating timeline inconsistencies. Such as Celebrimbor, Elendil and Isildur being alive at the same time. That just seems like the sort of thing that should have stayed accurate to the books. I know that I’m over sensitive of the subject. I was fine with Leia remembering her mother in ROTJ tbh. I just find it weird that they retconned it into her not remembering anything in Kenobi. I was under the impression that the Stormtroopers were always recruited troops. Seeing as they all had different voices in the OT. And the fact that the Lieutenants - Commanders were obviously recruited. And then there’s Yoda being around the same around teh same age as Grogu when he started training younglings. “For 800 years have I trained Jedi.” By that logic Yoda, since Grogu is 50, would have the mental age of 6-10 years old when he first took on a Padawan. And seeing how strict the Jedi are in canon I doubt they would have let him teach. (Anakin’s immaturity is a special case because A) he was the supposed chosen one, and B) it was wartime. Once again, I know I’m probably over sensitive on this subject. -

So… the only other set this year that @Renown’s 1984 quote could be referring to is the R2 KT set. Right? However that is quite unlikely. My personal guess: an ISB/ Andor themed set in January. Renown could you please give us any indication on whether at least one of us has guessed the meaning of your quote correctly? -

Phenomenal work. I really like the colour scheme and smoothness of the build. Well done. I look forward to seeing your future models. -

I quite liked ROP. (Music was phenomenal) It was a good and enjoyable show by itself. But it just didn’t feel like LOTR. You have to commend Amazon for managing to wreak canon the canon in just one Season. A feat that took Disney around 5 different movies and TV shows for Star Wars. -
I’m now scared for my life. What exactly are you insinuating @PGBQW? Am I marked as a sacrifice to the Lego gods so that my life may be traded for the revival of Lego DC Superheroes? If I am fated to do so, it’s been an honour to serve alongside you all. “Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori” Depends, If we’re going off the Commandos that were in Bad Batch I’d say that one would be able to take out @legoturtle, @Renny The Spaceman, and @Max_Lego. (Potentially giving @ARC2149Nova a decent fight but ultimately losing.) If we’re going off Delta Squad, Omega Squad, Theta Squad and Gregor’s level in TCW, comics, books and videogames. I think that one of that type of commando would be able to neutralise everyone except for @PGBQW, @thephantasm, @THELEGOBATMAN (seeing that his pic is the OP TLBM Batman) and @RedHoodPug (seeing that his pug is the almighty Lockjaw specifically, and I like dogs too much to hurt one in any way)

It seems a bit unfair that Cal doesn’t get BD-1. But Leia gets Lola. (I guess Lego knows that Cal will sell by himself.) I’m not too sold on the idea. TBH. I feel like that 2 Anniversary sets shouldn’t be depicting the same thing at different scales. But I like the ideas of the add ons. Should make a comedic display. -
Yes, we indeed do. You may want it to be a success because if it fails there’s a chance of A) Robin and other Batfamily characters may never show up in live action ever again, and B) If Superman fails there’s a 99% chance that Lego DC will never be brought back to its former glory. In fact it could possibly be discontinued as a theme.

Anyone else think it’s weird that only 2 of the Anniversary figures are force-users? We’ve got Malak and Cal who are great. But I’m just surprised that they didn’t make another Jedi (Yarael Poof or Yaddle), Between Dark and Light (Mara Jade, Dark Disciple Ventress) or another Dark Side user (Darth Bane, Mother Talzin or an Inquisitor). I’m also curious as to why they only went with one Villain Anniversary Figure (Well technically two if you count Saw. #AvengeTech) the more I think about it, the more I find that Young Leia is arguably the most wasted Minifigure slot in the history of Minifigure slots. I actually want to know the exact thought process Lego had behind deciding on Young Leia. And seeing that this is my 500th post: "By the right of the Council, by the will of the Force, I am dubbed as a Jedi, Knight of Eurobricks." Edit: I’m on the fence about my new profile pic. Is it better/ as good as the BF2 Clone Commando pic or is it worse. I’m open to opinion. -

Oh my stars and garters. You’re a genius! Its spherical shape could also potentially explain why the leakers thought a Death Star coming, as the informants may have thought that it was a DS. And then leakers may have concluded that one of the larger sets was a DS. Would it potentially have a cell lock interior as a feature? Maybe even a conference room as that rumour gained a lot of traction at the beginning of the year. (Probably not though) -

Maybe the 1984 quote was teasing an ISB themed Battlepack in January? Either that or it’s referring to how some characters will have switched affiliations in RTG like Winston did at the end of 1984. Do you guys think that some factions, the ones that are worth being made at least, have been neglected on the generic forces side of things by Lego recently? Rebel Soldiers and Separatists come to mind. (Empire to a slightly lesser extent) -

Actually that’s not the case in canon, in fact the opposite. In the Canon Thrawn Ascendancy novels we know that he was still serving in the Chiss Ascendancy’s Expansionary Defense Fleet during the Clone Wars. As the Senior Captain of the Springhawk. In canon he only ventures into lesser space (the main galaxy) once during this time, and that’s to do some research into the republic and see whether they were a threat to the Ascendancy. During this time he ran into Anakin Skywalker, who was looking for a missing Padme, and subsequently joined forces with him. Culminating in them taking out some Separatist forces. And retrieving Padme. (These events occurred in the novel Thrawn Alliances) My apologies for the 🤓 moment. When are we going to see leaked pics of our Lord and Saviour Jedi Bob?!! -
Cyborg superman is a phenomenal design. Shame we never got a minifigure. It would be awesome if they Lego did some Villain versions of heroes. For example: Cyborg Superman, Parallax and The Batman Who Laughs/ Black Flash or Zoom would make an excellent minifigure pack. For the sake of comedy, let it be so. It’s frankly a well known fact that the entire Batfamily likes Dick. Alfred, Bruce and Babs especially.

And don’t forget how Cyclops was portrayed as becoming more and more antagonised towards humans throughout the season. Are Wolverine and Beast going to join the Avengers at some point though? -

First of all, welcome to the forum. Secondly, I personally wouldn’t put much faith into what Mandr says. Finally, now I hope that’s the 2nd figure in Jedi Bob’s starfighter (updated of course) it would be hilarious to see the scalpers lose their minds over their resale value going down! -

* Captain America has entered the chat* (when he’s written by X-Men writers that is) My thoughts exactly. I can’t wait for X-Men’97 S2 (X-Men’98). Because A) We’ll get to see feral Wolverine and B) Maybe they’ll add more mutants to the team. Obviously not next season, but maybe at some point they’ll adapt the Avengers Vs X-Men, House of M or Vampire Jubilee storylines. -
“There’s Three, Actually.” - Doc Ock (Into the Spider-verse (2018)) Tim Drake, Damian Wayne and the new Zurr En Arrh Robin (Evil clone of Bruce Wayne) None of which we have figures for their current suits. Also, what exactly do you mean by “coming”? Edit: Ladies and Gentlemen, we’ve done it! We’ve rambled for 100 pages. This is a cause for celebration.
