So you’re mad at superhero film where there’s flying, whose titular character is iconic for *checks notes* flying? It’s not even out yet. On a more positive note. Apparently James Gunn confirmed on social media that we’d be getting: Vixen, Nightwing, Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) and Static in Chapter 1 of the DCU. That gives me hope for TBATB sets. If we get any. The downside to this is that Gunn also confirmed that Kyle Rayner isn’t coming anytime soon 🥲.

If the rumours for the R2 KT set are indeed true, I will have to bid farewell to my hopes of dreams of a stormtrooper battlepack in January. Do I accept my defeat at the hands of the Clone Bros and the Night trooper legion? Nay! It is time for plan B. Imperial Army Trooper Battlepack (£19.99): 2 Helmeted Imperial Army Troopers, a capped Army Trooper and a Stormtrooper. Build would be the patrol speeder from Andor S1 finale. This would of course tie-in with Andor S2 which will release next year. Lego Legends Minifigure pack (£12.99): Old Jek-14, Adult Rowan Freemaker and Maul face-paint Yoda. Clone Wars Jedi Battlepack (£19.99): Jaro Tapal, Tiplee, Cin Drallig and Bultar Swan. -
Hol’up. I have a theory (if the squirrel is indeed Bd’g/ Ch’p) Bd’g/ Ch’p was sent to spy on Guy Gardner because the Guardians of the Universe found out that he was using his GL ring to work for a private corporation (LordTech). They sent Bd’g/ Ch’p, one of their most decorated Lanterns, because they were concerned that Guy might accidentally or intentionally give Maxwell Lord the secret to harnessing the power of the emotional spectrum. Too much tampering with the emotional spectrum could potentially free either the First Lantern, Nekron or Parallax from a construct prison. Thus causing a universe ending threat. This would be followed up in Lanterns and would explain why that show is supposedly so important for the DCU’s overall story. Did I cook?

R2 KT set is the only set that’s been rumoured this year that hasn’t been elaborated on as of yet. We know it exists as R2 KT has been teased on the Lego.com LSW 25th anniversary page. But I’m suprised we haven’t had any details about the build or figure updates. Looking at the current figures I still think that it’s an expansion of the Tantive Hallway with some celebratory decorations. -

Yep. He’s always trying to claim that other people’s more credible leaks are his. -
Batman’s weakness is his mommy and daddy issues. Martian Manhunter’s weakness is fire. And Flash’s weakness is his ADHD. So a super rare green rock doesn’t seem too bad. Besides. It’s not his weaknesses but his kind and strong character that makes Supes a chad. A gigachad. Turtle’s mad that there’s a squirrel in the movie that allows Superman to show his caring nature. I’m mad that the squirrel isn’t Green Lantern Bd’g or Ch’p. We are not the same. (It would be a funny plot twist though)

The beacons are lit! Eurobricks calls for aid! And Lego will not answer! Since you asked so nicely. This nerd called Clark Kent is secretly a chad called Superman (There’s a star Man waiting in the sky….) He moves to the big city known as Metropolis so that he can help more people. Along the way he will encounter the Justice League International who are funded by this evil businessman called Max Lord. In this team there is a female bird person, a random Guy in green, Metamorpho and a terrific genius. Oh and Lois Lane, Rick Flag Sr, Ultraman and the Engineer are there to.

Army Troopers and Stormtroopers for me. As they are more versatile units. Night-troopers would be good as well. But after the Moff Gideon’s commandos I want more generic Imperial Troops rather than specific one-off (so far) units. I understand that I’m in the minority on this one. I feel like the MIDI Scale line should come with a single mini fig. So it completes the half a UCS set feel. And yes I know I’m in the minority on that one too. -

I would have thought that we would be getting set numbers and prices around now. And basic information in August or September. And the Onyx Cylinder leaked. I’m not sure what to think. I most definitely won’t be getting it though. I don’t think it’s gonna sell that well. The shaping just feels off. It seems too dark in colour to be a good guy ship. I’m not sure how many kids will want to buy this (even if they are able to afford this set) since the figs kinda look lame. There’s not even a cool villain character. -

Don’t let the Clone Bros see this. They’ll hunt you down. Don’t you know that they are the fans who are most neglected/ oppressed by Lego?! -

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
CloneCommando99 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hype for the MCU has significantly dwindled these last few years. Don’t believe me? Look at the box office numbers. These translate into a dwindle in Lego sales of sets based off the new rims. And the films that people are hyped for (Deadpool and Wolverine) Lego won’t make sets for. Lego Marvel isn’t one of Lego’s top 5 bestselling themes. And for a theme that large you’d think that it should do better than Ninjago. Also there’s the fact that there aren’t a lot of vehicles/ locations in the MCU that would be recognisable to kids. That’s why we get Hulkbuster after Hulkbuster. I believe we got more Hulkbusters than Hulk bigfigs between 2018-2022. Anyway, why do you speak such heresy against Star Wars? @Swordy, my allegiance is to the republic, to the Star Wars theme. You have allowed this dark Feige to twist your mind. Also if you really want to see what happens when a once great theme that still has potential is neglected by Lego, go visit the DC Aslume.. I mean discussion thread. -

True. But people buy clones in absurd quantities no matter the legion for some weird reason. Please tell me this is a tease, since you’re a leaker. Though I understand it most likely isn’t. The ISD is the best set of the summer IMO. Anyone else agree? -

The zombie faceprint looks good. I like to call that headprint “Mr Ben” because he’s just the same guy dressing up as multiple different characters. Meanwhile I’m still holding out hope for a Stormtrooper Battlepack. Both probably aren’t allowed to exist in the same year unfortunately. However it would be ideal if Lego made a Patrol Gunship with Night troopers and a regular stormtrooper battlepack, or vice versa. -
Perhaps there is still hope for TLM3 or TLBM2. If WB management continues this trend of incompetence. Also I feel like, since Amazon has rights to Caped Crusader, they should have replaced that Agent Spider segment in the finale of Invincible season 2 with Caped Crusader Batman. Therefore serving as the ultimate teaser, My hopeful predictions for 2025 Superman Mech (£12.99): Superman Green Lantern Mech (£12.99): Guy Gardner (though preferably Kyle Rayner) Lex Luthor vs Heroes (£34.99): Lex Luthor, Superman, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Supergirl. Daily Planet Modular (£299.99): Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, The Engineer, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, Hawkgirl, Lex Luthor, Black Noi— sorry Ultraman, Rick Flag Sr, Lana Lang, Metallo, Parasite, James Gunn lookalike, Jon Kent and Maggie Sawyer. My Realistic predictions for 2025: Buildable Jonkler Jonkler Mech Buildable Superman 4+ Batboat vs Jonkler (Includes sticker of House of El emblem as teased by this year’s 4+ batcave having kryptonite) UCS Batt: TDK and Bane

Walkers are so obviously the Star Wars equivalent of tanks though. “Johnston said Lucas wanted the walkers to look like anthropomorphic walking tanks to make them frightening.” -Wikipedia “A tank was an armored frontline vehicle equipped with large or heavy weapons and were a staple in many ground armies, their main function usually being to assist or spearhead attacks. Some hovertanks ran on repulsorlifts, others used caterpillar treads, and others were walkers.” -Wookiepedia and as @ARC2149Nova points out, there are times on screen when walkers are referred to as tanks. I admit I made a mistake in calling an AT RT a tank though. But yeah. Anyone else notice the lack of walkers/ heavier ground vehicles this year? -

WDYM. I class a tank in Star Wars as an armoured ground vehicle used by factions. I class the Republic Swamp Speeder as a Tank because it has armour and big weapons. I’m actually serious there has been a lack of Tanks this year. I do not Troll. 2019: AT AP, 20th Anniversary AT RT, AT ST Raider 2020: 501st AT RT, AT AT and AAT 2021: Armoured Marauder and UCS AT AT 2022: Republic Fighter Tank, AT ST, AT TE and 4+ AT ST 2023: 332nd Swampspeeder and Spider Tank. (Arguably the Stormtrooper Mech could also be counted as a tank due to its armour and heavy weapons) 2024: Octuparra Tri-droid (and that’s barely a tank) I’m seeing a significant lack of Tanks this year compared to most previous years. -

Anyone else notice that there’s been a lack of Tanks this year? I know we have the Skiff and Barc Speeder but those are more speeders than tanks. The only tank that’s been made this year is the Octuparra from the BP.
