  1. Guy Gardner leaked. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined Hawkgirl is also not looking that good. I like the helmet and Mace though.
  2. Don’t let the Clone Bros see this. They’ll hunt you down. Don’t you know that they are the fans who are most neglected/ oppressed by Lego?!
  3. “It was perfect. Everything down to the last minute detail.” Our new master has arrived. I’m now considering getting the set because it looks so damn good.
  4. Hype for the MCU has significantly dwindled these last few years. Don’t believe me? Look at the box office numbers. These translate into a dwindle in Lego sales of sets based off the new rims. And the films that people are hyped for (Deadpool and Wolverine) Lego won’t make sets for. Lego Marvel isn’t one of Lego’s top 5 bestselling themes. And for a theme that large you’d think that it should do better than Ninjago. Also there’s the fact that there aren’t a lot of vehicles/ locations in the MCU that would be recognisable to kids. That’s why we get Hulkbuster after Hulkbuster. I believe we got more Hulkbusters than Hulk bigfigs between 2018-2022. Anyway, why do you speak such heresy against Star Wars? @Swordy, my allegiance is to the republic, to the Star Wars theme. You have allowed this dark Feige to twist your mind. Also if you really want to see what happens when a once great theme that still has potential is neglected by Lego, go visit the DC Aslume.. I mean discussion thread.
  5. True. But people buy clones in absurd quantities no matter the legion for some weird reason. Please tell me this is a tease, since you’re a leaker. Though I understand it most likely isn’t. The ISD is the best set of the summer IMO. Anyone else agree?
  6. The zombie faceprint looks good. I like to call that headprint “Mr Ben” because he’s just the same guy dressing up as multiple different characters. Meanwhile I’m still holding out hope for a Stormtrooper Battlepack. Both probably aren’t allowed to exist in the same year unfortunately. However it would be ideal if Lego made a Patrol Gunship with Night troopers and a regular stormtrooper battlepack, or vice versa.
  7. Perhaps there is still hope for TLM3 or TLBM2. If WB management continues this trend of incompetence. Also I feel like, since Amazon has rights to Caped Crusader, they should have replaced that Agent Spider segment in the finale of Invincible season 2 with Caped Crusader Batman. Therefore serving as the ultimate teaser, My hopeful predictions for 2025 Superman Mech (£12.99): Superman Green Lantern Mech (£12.99): Guy Gardner (though preferably Kyle Rayner) Lex Luthor vs Heroes (£34.99): Lex Luthor, Superman, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Supergirl. Daily Planet Modular (£299.99): Superman, Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, The Engineer, Mister Terrific, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, Supergirl, Hawkgirl, Lex Luthor, Black Noi— sorry Ultraman, Rick Flag Sr, Lana Lang, Metallo, Parasite, James Gunn lookalike, Jon Kent and Maggie Sawyer. My Realistic predictions for 2025: Buildable Jonkler Jonkler Mech Buildable Superman 4+ Batboat vs Jonkler (Includes sticker of House of El emblem as teased by this year’s 4+ batcave having kryptonite) UCS Batt: TDK and Bane
  8. Walkers are so obviously the Star Wars equivalent of tanks though. “Johnston said Lucas wanted the walkers to look like anthropomorphic walking tanks to make them frightening.” -Wikipedia “A tank was an armored frontline vehicle equipped with large or heavy weapons and were a staple in many ground armies, their main function usually being to assist or spearhead attacks. Some hovertanks ran on repulsorlifts, others used caterpillar treads, and others were walkers.” -Wookiepedia and as @ARC2149Nova points out, there are times on screen when walkers are referred to as tanks. I admit I made a mistake in calling an AT RT a tank though. But yeah. Anyone else notice the lack of walkers/ heavier ground vehicles this year?
  9. Imperial Special Ops Battlepack (£19.99): Imperial Jump Trooper Commander, 2 JFO Scout Troopers and a Imperial Flame Trooper Imperial Patrol Gunship (£59.99): Imperial Pilot, Governor Pryce (Combat Armour), 2 Imperial Jumptrooprrs and a 7th fleet Stormtrooper. Lothal Rebels U-Wing (£79.99): Ezra, Stryker, Zeb, Sabine, Kanan (shaved) and Rukh. Jedi Temple Assault (£39.99): Cin Drallig, Shak Ti, Zett Jukassa, Corrupted Anakin and a 501st trooper. Palpatine’s Shuttle (£89.99): 2 Shock Troopers, Palpatine, wounded Anakin and Mas Amedda.
  10. WDYM. I class a tank in Star Wars as an armoured ground vehicle used by factions. I class the Republic Swamp Speeder as a Tank because it has armour and big weapons. I’m actually serious there has been a lack of Tanks this year. I do not Troll. 2019: AT AP, 20th Anniversary AT RT, AT ST Raider 2020: 501st AT RT, AT AT and AAT 2021: Armoured Marauder and UCS AT AT 2022: Republic Fighter Tank, AT ST, AT TE and 4+ AT ST 2023: 332nd Swampspeeder and Spider Tank. (Arguably the Stormtrooper Mech could also be counted as a tank due to its armour and heavy weapons) 2024: Octuparra Tri-droid (and that’s barely a tank) I’m seeing a significant lack of Tanks this year compared to most previous years.
  11. Anyone else notice that there’s been a lack of Tanks this year? I know we have the Skiff and Barc Speeder but those are more speeders than tanks. The only tank that’s been made this year is the Octuparra from the BP.
  12. DC Superhero Girls (original one), Avengers Assemble, Comic Con exclusive minifigs based off Arrowverse, 2 What If Hulkbuster sets and the X-Men’97 sets.
  13. Who would win in a fight? Comics Batman or TLBM Batman? Also, how much wood could the wood chuck chuck if the wood chuck could chuck wood?
  14. Tbf, Dreamzzz and Ninjago don’t have any licensing costs weighing them down. Unlike Star Wars. We’re not out of the woods just yet. There’s still a chance that Lego decides to cheap out. With every set that gets revealed, the more and more certain I am that the ISD is the absolute banger of this summer wave. I don’t like the Grey Slab of Peridia. The figures are great though. The Night-trooper makes me happy as it means I don’t have to see people rant about a bad Enoch. (Also the Night-Trooper being in a set as cheap as this reduces the chances of them getting a Battlepack. Imperial Remnant (with stormtroopers) or Army Trooper BP next year please!! The Sarlaac Pit looks good. But just not for me. The lack of Boba’s cape and Weequay is a travesty. But I’m not too bothered about the Boba reuse (is it really a difference that kids would have noticed?) Let’s have a look on what leakers have got wrong this year Star Destroyer being a Death Star Play-set Evil Chewie in Dark Falcon Enoch Luke having a new hairpiece in Skiff Weequay in Skiff Star Destroyer/ Death Star having 12 figures Anything else? Help us Jedi Bob’s Starfighter, you’re our only hope.
  15. There had better be an Imperial Bunker set and stormtrooper Battlepack to go with it if it’s true.
  16. Guys, guys. Stop arguing. We seem to be forgetting the best Star Wars continuity. Reject Legends and Canon. Accept the Lego continuity. Jek 14 and Jedi Bob are in that continuity so it’s definitely the best. 😜 Anyway, do you guys think that we’ll get a larger January Wave in 2025? Or will it be minuscule like this year?
  17. Well yes… Gideon is dead, “from a certain point of view.” But may I point out that Gideon in Mando season 3 didn’t have a moustache unlike he did in season 2. And you know who else didn’t have a moustache? The Gideon Clones. My theory is that Gideon is alive, well and still sporting a fine moustache. It was merely a clone that died in the explosion. Thus setting up the Mando and Grogu movie to focus on a power struggle between Gideon and Thrawn for control of the Imperial Remnant. Gideon will ultimately lose, go into hiding on Koboh and will set up a restaurant called Los Rawkas Hermanos. He will then get involved in the Spice Trade. Huzzah! A man of culture. The Imperial with the Impeccable Moustache is the best Captain in the Empire. Easily one of the top 3 most compelling Imperial characters there are. I wouldn’t be so sure of yourself. The Aslume comes for us all in the end. You are merely delaying the inevitable. As for Legends sets, they should absolutely happen. Whether it be a Tie Defender with Warlord Zsinj here, a AT PT with Mara Jade there or even a Republic attack Shuttle with Delta Squad over yonder. Those are the sorts of things which would make the Kids think: “Oh wow, what a cool version of a vehicle I’ve seen before. And those unrecognisable characters look awesome!”
  18. Heresy of the highest order!!!! You’re either with us or against us. Don’t make me your enemy. Never mind, “It’s treason then.” You have already become a heretic of lesser extent. “I will do what I must.” Begone to the DC Discussion thread with you heretics! Where such blatant heresy belongs. You are followers of the Turtle now!!! Uj/ I’m joking of course. You’re allowed to have your own opinions. Even if they’re wrong. Mara Jade!!! Mara Jade!!! Mara Jade!!!
  19. Reporting for duty. Let’s deal with this heretic uprising. For the Glory of Mara Jade!!!! Deus Vult!!!! Tie Defender and Tie Crawler are technically Legends sets. Is that heresy I smell?!!! Heretic!!! Also you seem to be forgetting that Luke was attracted to Leia in the OT. Before the reveal that is. Heresy!!! Heresy!!!
  20. Live Action Movies: Superman, Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow, The Batman Part 2, Joker 2, The Brave and The Bold, Swamp Thing, Teen Titans and The Authority. Live Action TV shows: Lanterns, Peacemaker season 2, Booster Gold, Waller and an unnamed Arkham Series. Animated Movies: Jurassic League. Animated TV shows: Caped Crusader, Beast Boy, Kiteman, another season of Harley Quinn and Creature Commandos. (Young Justice season 5 hasn’t been confirmed yet.) I believe that’s about it. Please do correct me if I missed anything.
  21. Wait seriously?! Please do post that on the DC Thread. Or the DC wish lists thread. I would love to see it. If @Mandalorianknight is a priest of this honourable religion, then that means that I’m a Paladin of the church of Mara Jade. As in I am willing to DIVINE SMITE the megablocks out of those who dare commit heresy against our beloved Mara Jade. (And I’ve only read her in the Heir to The Empire Trilogy, so that tells you how likeable she is as a character.) I’m also open to Mara Jade reading recommendations over the summer. I’m currently planning on reading the canon Thrawn Trilogy. Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!!! Mara Jade!!! (Is this the Church of Mara Jade’s Hymn? Or are we stupid?) Now, ¿Dónde está Peridia?
  22. My Lucas. Why the Jar Jar is L0-LA that Kriffing large. A printed tile would have been better. The set itself looks fun. But just not for me.
  23. Bang! Crash! Kapow! There you go. You’ve got some onomatopoeias. I’ve realised a terrible truth. The most diverse in non-Batman characters wave that Lego has ever made for DC was DC Superhero Girls. We got: Wonder Woman, Katana, Bumblebee, Barry Allen, Krypto, Eclipso and Steve Trevor as well as other characters in one wave. Why?! Why Did they make tonnes of sets for DC Superhero girls but not Teen Titans?!
