@legoturtle I’m actually curious. You have stated many times that you like Batman because he’s ‘realistic’ and despise Superman because his powers are unrealistic. So I ask you this, what is your opinion on other non-powered or low-powered heroes who could be considered to be ‘realistic’. For example: Green Arrow, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America (always on steroids), Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Night-wing and Katana. Do you like or not like them? Because they all have the same level of believability as Batman.

Beat me to it. If Lego is choosing dual moulded legs for imperial officers as from now, did they specify choose Commander Praji for the ISD to save money? So they wouldn’t need to include a figure with dual moulded legs since his uniform is black. -

We’ve found George Lucas’s account. (It’s a joke but IYKYK) Kinda weird there’s been no new details for about a week now. It’s occurred to me that Lego hasn’t been making that many different unique Jedi recently. Sure they’ve made the mandatory Luke, Ahsoka, Rey, Windu, Qui Gon, Yoda and episode 2 Obi Wan in the last couple of years. But the last Jedi Anakin figure we got was in 2020. The last Aayla Secura figure was in 2017, Ki Adi Mundi and Bariss haven’t been made since 2018, Quinlan and Luminara since 2016 and other Jedi haven’t even been made yet. I wonder why that is. Perhaps just not enough space in the set lineups per year. A new General Kenobi figure with arm printing in a Clone Wars set would absolutely slap though. Also if Star Wars Outlaws does well, unlikely since it’s made by Ubisoft, will Lego pull another 2022 BD-1 and make Kay Vess’s alien pet as a buildable creature set? If they follow the same formula as JFO that would mean we can already predict one of the 30th LSW anniversary figures, that being Kay Vess. Oh and a Star Wars total war is supposedly in the works. Wouldn’t it be cool if Lego released a whole tonne of battlepacks for all the factions in the game if it really happens. They probably wouldn’t though. I miss the days when we got 4 battlepacks a year. It gave space for all the major factions to get one on a frequent basis. -

I think the latter are more likely seeing as they will be blockbuster movies. I don’t remember the last time Lego made sets for an animated movie that’s part of a larger live-action franchise. It must have been the Clone Wars Movie. I’m a casual LOTR fan myself, I loved the movies and enjoyed reading the entire trilogy and the hobbit when I was 10. As for actual playsets, watch Lego make LOTR mechs. But sets I could honestly see in the future: Modular Bag end, “You shall not pass” diorama, Midi Scale Minas Tirith and maybe a Prancing Pony set (Lego could make that as a medieval tavern style set so they could cash in on the Castle fans.) -
I’m praying that Gunn makes a GL Corps War of Light movie trilogy and the tv-show is only just foundation work: Sinestro Corps war, Rage of the Red Lanterns and Blackest Night would be my picks. I’m honestly worried whether a TV Show’s budget is going to even do justice to the spectacular visuals that would be mandatory for a live action GL project. I mean even if it had a budget of a billion USD I look at shows like ROP and don’t see where all the money went. I am also concerned about how it’s supposedly going to predominantly take place on earth. Which kinda removes the mythos that makes GL so great. I mean who they gonna have as the villain? Hector Hammond? Major Force? It really limits their options.

I do not hide. I will not run. I am the Superman to Turtle’s Batman (or at least how he perceives their relationship.) I do not cower in fear at the sight of another insane inmate. I merely increase my insanity until I make my opponent cower in fear themselves. Turtle cannot stop me. I fear no man, no Turtle and no Inmate. The only thing I have to fear is fear itself. Let the war of the insane commence. I will hunt down the last of our sanity and extinguish it. And I will continue to do so until even Jonkler, Man and r/BatmanArkham bows down before our insanity. Who will join me in this crusade?! /uj Turtle must be a member of the House of Zod only masquerading as one of the House of El. That’s why he hates Superman with a burning passion.

Are you criticising Covid itself or the face masks? If it’s the latter that’s not painting you in a good light. So I hope you’re criticising the former. Actually The Batman 2 was delayed due to Matt Reeves taking time with the script. Absolutely nothing to do with Superman. Why can’t newcomers like @ARC2149Nova understand our Aslume? Are we stupid?

I love your ideas for the character packs. I pray your wave doesn’t happen…. Because I would go bankrupt. Unfathomably good ideas you have there and I would love to see them all become a reality. (One or two at a time to spare mercy for my bank account though) -

Fair enough. I am actually wondering whether Disney forced Lego to make Young Leia as an anniversary figure. There’s no way that the same people who chose hydrogen bombs like: Cal, Saw, Nien, Fives and Malak would willingly choose a Coughing Baby like Young Leia. Especially since if they really wanted to do a female character they logically should have gone for either: Mara Jade, Doctor Aphra, Agent Tini, Dedra Meero, Mara Jade, Merrin, Cere Junda, Mara Jade, Jaina Solo or maybe even Mara Jade. I feel like Lego knows Cal’s popularity and they thought that he would make his set sell well whether he was very detailed or not. Combine that with the fact that a ISD would automatically be a bestseller and they wouldn’t actually need to put too much detailing. I get why they didn’t include a poncho since Lego hasn’t made one as detailed as any of Cal’s before. However the lack of BD-1 is a war crime on Lego’s part. The redeeming quality of the figure is that he has a very detailed face print that portrays his scars very well. I feel like if it was Survivor Cal Lego would have given him arm printing. It’s just that JFO Cal doesn’t really have any notable details on his arms whilst Survivor Cal has a Jedi Order symbol and other notable details on his arms. Overall I quite like the Cal figure, but I do think that it could have been much better if Lego hadn’t been lazy. -

Lego should really bring back Minifigure packs to Star Wars. As either A) Character packs or B) a DLC for the year’s battlepack (special forces or an opposing faction) Here are some of my ideas (all £12.99): Character Packs: Tales of The Jedi Character Pack: Young Dooku, Yaddle and Ahsoka (new version of her early CW outfit) Tales of The Empire Character Pack: Bariss Offee (Inquisitor), 4th Sister and the bird skull inquisitor who hasn’t been named yet. Clone Force 99 character pack: Crosshair, Wrecker and Hunter. Bad Batch S3 character pack: Scorch, Echo and Omega. Jedi Survivor character pack: Cal Kestis, Merrin and Dagan Gera. Faction DLC packs: Imperial specialists: Jumptrooper, Flametrooper and Rick the Door Technician. (Goes with stormtrooper BP) Endor Rebel Commandos: 2x Human and 1x Zabraak. (Also goes with stormtrooper BP) Republic Specialists: Clone Commando, BF2 Arc Trooper and a Wookie Warrior. Republic Navy: Clone Naval officer, updated P1 clone gunner and a helmet accurate P1 clone pilot (Shadow Squadron). Vader’s Fist: Vader’s Fist Stormtrooper, Purge trooper (Shotgun) and a Purge trooper (Electro Staff) Would you guys like SW Minifig packs to return? And if so would you prefer the former, the latter or one of both per year? -

Maybe the Young Leia (Coughing Baby) set really is an Acolyte set. That’s may be why we don’t know anything about it. Or it’s just a Lego exclusive, hence why it’s been kept under wraps. It’s weird we haven’t had any additional information on that set since January. -

It has come to my attention recently that next year will be Rebel’s 10th anniversary. Therefore here is my wishlist. Stormtrooper Battlepack (£19.99): 3x Stormtrooper and a Stormtrooper commander. Pheonix Squadron A-Wing (£29.99): Rex (Rebel Commando gear), A-Wing pilot, Zeb and Chopper. Minifig Scale Phantom 1 (£34.99): Hera (S1/2), Kanan (S1/2), Agent Kallus (S1/2) and the 7th Sister. Elite Tie Defender (£49.99): Grand Admiral Thrawn (S3 Finale Combat armour), Governor Pryce, Vult Skerris and Sabine Wren (S3). ITT (£69.99): Ezra Bridger (S3-4), 2x Imperial combat drivers, 2x Deathtroopers (tactical gear) and Lieutenant Lyste. MIDI scale Interdictor (£59.99): Is in scale with new ISD playset. Thoughts? And can you guys see anything happening for Rebel’s 10th Anniversary. -

I still think that the 1984 hint was referring to Rebuild the Galaxy having many characters change their affiliations. Much like Winston did when that quote was written in the book. However it could also suggest that there will be an Andor S2 set with the ISB. -
Thanks. I love your ideas too. Intriguing concept of the JL actually having a darker side than what the public is shown. Honestly this is just making me think that maybe we should do a roleplay game similar to the SW forum’s mysteries. Where we create our own heroes or villains in a future where all the heroes have died. My character would be a former British SAS commando who was recruited by the Legue of Assassins. He became estranged from them when R’as al Ghul tried to unleash a Nuclear Warhead on London. In risking his life to try and Disarm the bomb and save many innocent civilians a GL ring chooses him to be its host. With the situation being quickly resolved. Using his newly acquired GL power ring, combat skills and SF training he becomes a reluctant hero in a time when heroes are thought to be part of a bygone age. He is always haunted by the guilt of the actions he carried out for the League of Assasins. And is eternally trying to live up to the legacy of previous earth-born lanterns. I’m thinking of the name William (Bill) Buckley.

Oh hell yes now you’re cooking! OG suit would be best for Rayner in a CMF. Then use his fusion suit in future sets as the GL emblem is more consistent with the others. Deathstroke I’d honestly replace with Ravager. More ideas: Green Lantern mech (£12.99): Kyle Rayner (fusion suit) and Bd’g accessory. Bat-wing mech (£49.99): Redhood, Robin, Wonder Woman, John Stewart and Supergirl. Batman’s Justice Buster (£29.99): Batman, Jokerised superman, Flash and Wonder Woman. The Boatwing (£24.99): Nightwing, Batgirl and KG-Beast. Bitewing dog accessory and a moulded bat-cycle are also included. Blister Packs: JSA blister pack (£12.99): GL Alan Scott, Powergirl and Doctor Fate. JLI blister pack (£12.99): Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), Booster Gold, Classic GL Guy Gardner. New 52 JLA blister pack (£12.99): Steve Trevor (ARGUS tactical gear), Martian Manhunter and Vibe. GLC blister pack (£12.99): Arissa Raab, G’nort and Sonarik Natu. Elseworlds: Injustice showdown blister pack (£12.99): Kryptonite armour Batman, Yellow Lantern Superman and Yellow Lantern Hal Jordan. Kingdom Come blister pack (£12.99): Superman, Batman and Green Lantern. DCeased blister pack (£16.99): Green Canary, Jon Kent superman, Light Knight Batman and Cassie Sandsmark Wonder Woman. Amalgam blister pack (£12.99): Harold Stark, Amazon and Night-Claw. Honestly the point is they could easily sell blister packs with desirable characters.

With the Leakers getting so many things wrong this year… I’m praying it’s not a buildable creature and is a TPM battle of Naboo set. Which would make the AAT polybag make sense. It’s the only poly bag in the last 4 years that hasn’t had a real set of the same vehicle release in the same year. -
Since we’re going for custom head canons apparently… here’s mine: The bat-fam is limited to: Batman, Nightwing, Robin (Tim Drake), Signal, Batwoman, Batgirl (Barbara Gordan) and Black Bat. Alfred is still alive. A new wonder girl isn’t introduced every 5 seconds (Cassie Sandsmark maintains that title) Lois Lane is running for president against Lex Luthor. Kyle Rayner never stopped being a White Lantern and eventually joined the JL Incarnate. Both Hal Jordan and Jessica Cruz are the primary GLs on the Justice League. The other human lanterns are headliners in GLC run. The JL roster is: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern (x2), Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Shazam, Vixen, Cyborg and Firestorm. The Titans roster is: Nightwing, Batgirl, Superboy (Kon El), Zatanna, Wally West, Miss Martian, Kyle Rayner, Troia and Aqualad (Kaldur). The Teen Titans roster is: Robin, Beast Boy, Raven, Speedy, Impulse, Wonder Girl, Supergirl and Blue Beetle. (Jaime Reyes) Legion of Doom roster is: Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Black Manta, Reverse Flash (It was me Barry!!!), Deathstroke, Circe and their malicious leader… Condiment King! Darkseid and Scarecrow are part of the Yellow Lantern Corps. The Arkham patients actually receive decent help. But in the Joker’s case: due to the large amount of encounters the GLs have had with him, Joker eventually gets taken to Oa where the Guardians imprison him in a science cell. And now for my lore theory on why Lego DC is the way it is right now. Dr Manhattan wanted to do another experiment, like what caused the New 52, what he did was give every hero the Batman origin story and every major villain the Joker origin story. This frankly all led to all the heroes ending up as Batman and all the villains as Joker. Realising his mistake Dr Manhattan tried to fix it. But was stopped by an omnipotent inter-dimensional chaos deity called Brickheadz Joker.

GL Set ideas: GLTAS Interceptor (£49.99): Hal Jordan, Kilowog (Hagrid style fig), Ganthet, Razer and Aya. Red Vs Green Lantern Battlepack (£18.99): Kyle Rayner, Jessica Cruz (Dual Moulded legs), Bd’g, Bleez, Rankorr and Dextarr. (Builds are an assortment of weapon constructs) Adventures of Hal Jordan blister pack (£12.49): Hal Jordan, Saint Walker and Sinestro. Black Lantern Showdown here (£39.99): White Lantern Hal Jordan, White Lantern Kyle Rayner, Blue Lantern Flash, Blackhand and Black Lantern Batman. Build is a Nekron buildable figure with Scythe and a Black Lantern fridge side build for Rayner to fight. (IYKYK) Oan Central power battery (£149.99): Guy Gardner, Atrocitus, Salaak, Arissa Raab (Hal is not included in the same set for lore reasons relating to her), Sodam Yatt (Ion), Arkillo, Ganthet, Jo Mullein, Tomar Re, Larfleeze and John Stewart (Indigo Lantern). Science cell build is also included. Thoughts and any other GL stuff you’d like to see?
