If we think a little bit back in time... which faction have we got? (NEW PRINT) Galaxy Explorer, Blacktron Cruiser, CMF series, XL-15, Benny's Spaceship, Rex Spaceship... and also LEGO CITY / Space... upcoming BUT also older... there is at least 1 faction, NASA.

Some people say it goes like this: ... LEGO Space -> Star Wars Castle -> LOTR & Hobbit, Ninjago, Harry Potter Pirates -> Pirates of the Caribbean Adventurers -> Indiana Jones, Dreamzzz Aquazone, Atlantis -> Avatar (under water) Dino, Dino Attack -> Jurassic Park Franchise There might be even more examples. People think buying license is expensive. BUT what is the cost when you have to make your own theme, like for example Ninjago. You need movies, tv show, explain everyone who the characters are, what is story and so on...

Maybe we see those wild life rescue animals in upcoming CITY/Jungle sets... or even some kind of temple - like in Indiana Jones franchise.

I think Disney owns rights for Indiana Jones movies and tv shows... and TLG and Disney work together. So I would be surprised if won't see anymore IJ sets. I am planning to buy 2 Golden Idol temples and make some kind of MOC out of them.

Do we have any clue what has happened that "Blackthorn 2 figure"? Some kind of disease in space...

Looks great, all those 3 models. BUT I think spaceships need stand. I have this one.

I wanted also buy 3 sets. To build all 3 models. BUT money... money, money, money... If we are lucky in 2024 we might get nice spaceship BUT Galaxy Explorer size and quality, I think not :/

I really think that we should have also Licenced action/adventure themes here. Indiana Jones and also older theme Ultra Agents. Indiana Jones is great adventure theme and it have one of the BEST sets ever made. Temple full of traps and mysteries... and also golden treasure. Amazing minifigures 2023.

Nice to hear. We might see even more Space sets in different themes. Dreamzzz is another one which makes things a little bit different than CITY/Space. Technic makes a bit different and Friends. Even the CMF serie is full of all kind of characters. VERY interesting year coming 2024.

Well for example whole Dreamzzz lineup and Ninjago also. Don't get me wrong there are some very interesting minifigures BUT I must say that I expected more. Half of them are so weird that they don't belong that collection. That's why I think it is the same chase when SPACE subtheme is in many themes (Dreamzzz, Technic, Friends, City, and so on...) They kind of give everyone 2-3 minifigures to like. BUT they don't fit together.

CITY should make SUBTHEMES more clear. Like now Space and then maybe Exploration. Jungle exploration sets, nice... if you look Brickset database, we have these subthemes: CITY/SUBTHEMES since 2005- Arctic 10, 8 Deep Sea Explorers 6, 5 Exploration 5 Jungle 10 Volcano Explorers 8 Wildlife Rescue 5 Space 5, 5, 4 (Mars Exploration) 9 ... AND now even more space sets and Jungle Exploration in 2024.

I would like to see something like this also... We have this rainbow colours in so many sets now a days. Aliens, UFO... actually that space tourist is similar to that corpse they showed in Mexico. Small, grey and so on...

My point was not that there is female... I was saying that maybe half of the minifigures look very strange. NOT space related. I am very surprised how this collection does not seem to fit together... I thought it is SPACE minifigures... BUT there is also very interesting ones M-Tron, Blacktorn, Ice Planet. Even space penguin.

Which of those minifigures you try to collect? (I try to get these 2 at least:) Ice Planet Redux with Space Penguin Mutated BlackTron

Well... I like city subthemes. I bought CITY/space sets (2022). Then CITY/Exploration sets (2023). Next year (2024) I will buy all CITY/space sets. Arctic, Deep Sea Exploration, Jungle, Volcano, Wild Life Rescue... maybe I forgot some of those. I also like action/adventure themes. I just bought that Indiana Jones set, temple with a Golden Idol treasure. ... Problem with CITY is that it takes so many subthemes for themself. SPACE should be own theme. ALL SPACE RELATED sets. City repeats year after year same things. I would like to see something like lets say... ZOO. And I mean a zoo from maybe 10 different sets. Part count, total could be 10K. ... there would be all African animals BUT also under sea section where tourist could look fish, shark, so on behind glass. It would be also a ZOO island... with rock, trees and a little bit of sea.

What is this? Orian with translucent parts (I know that it is quite big company)

Well look this minifigure AND now look that FEMALE version of same minifigure. Where is the idea? Story? Everything... :/ very sad :/

From that IMAGE ... mmm... sorry to say this BUT there is maybe 3-4 interesting minifigures. ,,, and a lot of WOKE minifigures - I just can't realise what is their purpose. They don't make any sense.
