  1. Two new characters were created - Sinestro from STAS and the Creeper (Jack Ryder) from TNBA. The existing Riddler minifigure (based on his appearance in the 2003 comic 'the Batman adventures') got purple gloves and a tie of the same color for better accuracy. I also managed to recreate his question mark cane using a minifigure hook hand, inserted in a tube
  2. One of the best Lego X-wing designs I've ever seen. Congratulations
  3. Theed architecture is instantly recognisable and beautifully recreated. Awesome job
  4. Mesa like dis creation of yousa! Yousa did a nice job, especially when recreating de most bombad Sith Lord of da entire Galaxy, who in fact managed to calm down Sebulba da very moment Ani interfered using da Dark Side of da Force... OK, just kiddin' Overall, the build is awesome
  5. Ironically, Rebels Vader minifigure isn't accurate even to Rebels in terms of lights and buttons on the chest. But it still is the most accurate Lego representation of ANH Vader and, IMHO, the most beautiful Vader minifigure ever. I love Patrol troopers. They are like the Empire's SWAT team
  6. In my headcanon, the Emperor's Hands (like Mara Jade and Maarek Stele) were former younglings turned to the Dark Side. The amount of Jedi who survived up to Tarkin's 'the Jedi are extinct' line is insane. Sure, he couldn't know about Obi-Wan and Yoda. But if Ashoka was still alive at the point, he must have known about her. And that's why I HATE the very idea of the Inquisitors. And then there was Yoda's 'The last of the Jedi you will be' line... Luke was attracted to the person who turned out to be his sister... If anyone in Star Wars should've been asexual, they must be Palpatine, Tarkin, Thrawn, ect. Maximilian Veers, on the other hand, should definitely be a family man, whose son is a traitor to the Empire (that was in Legends). I like imagining him that way.
  7. Of course, it didn't start with Disney - SW were, IMAO, ruined long before even the Special Editios disaster. Disney just went masks off. Point taken.
  8. Not only they are designed that way - they also can be explained in a utterly reasonable way, with backstories not unlike real-world aircraft development stages. My headcanon already produced a comically adequate and realistic history of the TIE fighter, interceptor and Defender development (as well as those of Rebel starfighters). Star Wars IS Science fantasy, yet it COULD be more scientific. At lest, more scientific than Miyazaki's masterpiece manga Nausicaa, where the title heroine is a psychic and her enemy is an outright wizard. This said, Batman also could be more realistic. But then it would be, yes, pulp, not science, fiction Now we know how he imitates sounds! He just says words, not accurate imitation. People were speculating on the subject... <Cough> Lego Dimensions <Cough> Please don't bring this Prequel heresy. Fantasy elements don't make it totally fantasy
  9. Han's line on parsecs was obviously a blatant boast of an ignorant smuggler. You can see Obi-Wan giving him a dismissive look. Sound in space is an artistic convention to simplify the audience's perception. They created the explosions with what they had at the time. Not very scientific, but looks OK to me. Hyperspace and the Force not only are the only 'fantasy' (WH40K warp?) elements of SW - they SHOULD be fantasy elements. This is Star Wars for Palpy's sake! Hero's journey is not the absolute criteria for fantasy. Overall, SW is, at least, much more Sci-Fi than the DC universe, where 'Weird science' and magic exist without any justification. Batman's realism isn't about the world - it's about psychology and society. Or, at least, it should be...
  10. Looks like a little polished version of the animation from this absolutely disgusting The Killing Joke movie. I am pretty sure the artist is the same. It's Star Wars' current state, but I believe it wasn't supposed to be. When the OT was realised, SW had good potential to be, while not die-hard Sci-Fi like Star Trek was initially (until J. J. Abrams took over), but quite scientific on its own. EC Henry had a video on the topic, though I have something else, yet similar on my mind. Unfortunately, many 'scientific' aspects of SW were ruined by Disney, like the gravity wells (now ships are capable of jumping into hyperspace from the planet's surface) and the magnetic fields in hangars (now ships can enter hangars without opening the magnetic field and clearing the bay before said opening, which is plan weird). My previous scepticism about the B:CC show is partially gone now, after the trailer was realised. It may be something good, though I shall be patient. From what I've heard, the show may not be R-rated, so Lego sets based on it may be theoretically possible
  11. Nice build! Very well done. Oh. THE Doctor Strange?
  12. Will there be a variant with the big bird laughing at featherless small ones?
  13. Somehow the caricature swappable X-wing from the new set looks much better than the 2021 75301 version (though it's not that difficult). Lego finally managed to capture the X-wing's hull shape
  14. Awesome! Instantly recognisable
  15. That's a beautiful ship! Small, but well constructed
  16. Just reminded me... Lex Luthor : If Superman fails, we're going to need a Plan B. Robin : You've always gotta put Superman down. Not only Star Wars fans got more experienced over the years, but the creators openly started they despise their opinion from the very start. No wonder they went berserk... Loosen up! Luke Skywalker was a white straight cis man, but it didn't stop anyone... Finally someone has the same thoughts as me (though obviously for different reasons)...
  17. Never mind! I don't really know when I will be able to build it. Also I would like to build an E-wing from Ahsoka MOC, but don't expect soon... I just like how the Z-95 is the direct predecessor of the T-65. They should have been there in ROTS, not the weird ARC-170. Same applies to the BTL-B. I also prefer the Legends explanation that Rebel Y-wings are stripped down versions of the BTL-A4, a successor of the BTL-B; Rebels showing that they ARE actually heavily modified BTL-B's wasn't a good idea, IMHO. Sorry for being off-topic...
  18. Please forgive me, dear @Lordhelmet! Here is the link: Flickr album link
  19. Congratulations! After 'Ahsoka's realise prices on the 2017 Thrawn minifigure also became unacceptable. Yet I managed to acquire my unique Thrawn minifigure via non-bricklink sources (with the black boots being the sole exception, Garmadon's favourite sushi chief was acquired on Bricklink for this purpose). I found Thrawn's head on social media; although it cost ~10$ and had a dent on its left eye (miraculously, the printing was undamaged), it was obviously a bargain compared to any other offer available. Krennic's minifigure was found on a second-hand website; also a bargain, ~16,5$ with damaged head and perfectly new torso; acquiring the Doctor Strange polybag (because of the greying hair) was absolutely no problem. ~40$ for my own perfect Thrawn overall. More than any of my minifigures. Totally worth it. Sorry for being off-topic
  20. Colonel Yularen, please come back... Dot Matrix... Quite a problem for Jedi games' fans. Especially those, who don't use Bricklink (or are afraid of the prices there)
  21. Now this is the scale where you can get very accurate to the source material... Beautiful! Canonically they are retro-thrust nozzles (which makes sense, yet they do look more like intakes)
  22. Noooo! You built your own Z-95 before me! I am dishonored... It's awesome! Blue squadron makes me happy... Although the OT's bluescreen technology wouldn't have allowed that back in the old times...
  23. We're witnessing the rise of Turtle's confidence now. Marvel's got the Infinity saga. No matter what trash they are producing now, they ultimately succeeded. Just like Star Wars and Disney's arrogant confidence. You're wrong. How could you even say that? DC is quite on par with Marvel with the subject. But Marvel still left DC far behind in terms of quantity of certain character type... No, I don't want to explain any further... Please don't!.. This forum is dedicated to a construction toy from Denmark, not THAT kind of stuff... What? What did you say? On the other hand, there is the Wookiepedia article on Luke Skywalker... @BrickBob Studpants, I agree with almost everything you wrote here.
