Nice :) Which one, by the way? The Sonic Adventure one or the one I used as the background? -

Thank you for your appreciation! I highly value it! -
So here's how the suspension is done: The main idea is to squeeze the small white rubber bands through the holes in the Technic beams, attach them to round 1x1 plates and then cover them with the long plates. As for bricks, the most important part in my model is perhaps the 1x4 SNOT brick (BrickLink code 30414), to which the suspension is attached. If you have any more questions, please ask!

As the title suggests, it's a Lego model of Tails' Tornado plane from the Sonic Adventure video game. Sadly, it's a little longer than it's supposed to be, but, more importantly, it only fits Tails' minifigure without his signature tails. Nevertheless, I like how it turned out. I hope Lego Sonic fans shall like it too!

Thank you for your comment! This build's mainframe is directly based on my two-year old Phoenix squadron A-wing MOC (based on the Rebels show). Honestly, I don't remember how much time it took me to develop the latter, but I built the prototype for this particular mode (seen in the photo together with the Rebels version) in less than 10 hours

This weird, out-of-the-norm collaboration occurred during the Bakura incident; both the New Republic and Imperial governments had it classified. At some point during the Ssi-Ruuvi invasion, Wedge Antilles and the New Republic Starfleet were contacted by Gallius Rax and invited to test the new, recently unclassified Frei-Tek E-7 prototype starfighter (nicknamed 'E-wing') in a dogfight simulation against the late treacherous ex-Grand Admiral Zaarin's pet project - one of the few remaining 'Defender' prototypes, which survived then-Admiral Thrawn's epic thwart of Zaarin's attempted coup. Corellian authorities and Diktat Gallamby agreed to observe the upcoming collaboration in order to prevent any hostilities from both sides (Gallamby was trusted by the New Republic government despite his agreements with the Empire) and make sure the ships' weapons are not loaded with ammo. Wedge and Frei-Tek executives cautiously agreed, seeing the challenge as relatively simple - they knew Thrawn easily destroyed Zaarin's 'Defenders' with what became known as the mass-produced TIE Interceptors. Little did they know that the ship tested by Rax was not one of the bulky, heavy and inert prototype ships Zaarin employed during his failed coup... ...But a slim and agile improved version, painted in a happy bright red colour, uncharacteristic for most Imperial vessels. Thanks to lighter and more compact hyperdrive and shield generators, this starfighter's frame lost much weight, allowing better flight performance to be achieved. The test went surprisingly well, and in the end both sides agreed that their opponents' ships were the best deal in each Starfleet. - Honestly, you are a much better pilot than I expected, - Wedge told Rax, - but why did you decide to contact me out of all people? Is it because of my reputation? - This and one other thing, - the Commissar answered, - I read your recent interview to Voren Na'al and noticed that it was obviously redacted by the latter; especially the part about your girlfriend's death. I don't think you hate our Empire that much; you joined the Rebellion not out of hate like Leia Organa or Luke Skywalker, but rather out of despair... - We're not going into that direction, - Wedge said harshly, - thanks for the collaboration; I hope to never meet you again... in battle, at least. - As you wish, - Rax grinned creepily, - but always remember: if the New Republic government is to be taken over by people whose ideas and methods you won't be able to cope with, I am personally ready to forgive you the destruction of the Death Star... - Thanks. This will never happen. - You have hope... ... Roughly two years later, Wedge Antilles and Gallius Rax met again - ironically it was during the battle of Sluis Van, which set off the Thrawn Campaign. Rax flew his 'Red star' once more, while Wedge and his comrades had their trusty X-wings - the E-wing was yet to enter production. Even more ironic was the fact that both pilots and their ships survived the battle; however, this was just the beginning... ... Pictures of the New Republic's E-7 'E-wing', developed by the Frei-Tek corporation, in Blue squadron colours: The ship's landing gear is retractable: For judging purposes please note that the red TIE Defender isn't a new build

Thanks for your beautiful little model. Even before I saw the images, it inspired me to build my own minifigure-scale version (I shall post it sometime). Good job!

Thanks!

"...the New Republic LIES TO THE GALAXY!!!" This is Mon Mothma - my first Lego Star Wars minifigure with custom painted hair. Her cape is paper. I always wanted to give Officer Leia medium-length legs (Carrie Fisher used to be exceptionally short), so I erased printing on Moaning Myrtle's legs with an eraser. The same was done with General Airen Cracken's head in order to create a custom General Carlist Rieekan (in New Republic uniform) minifigure. Enjoy!

Why, thanks! MOCs are supposed to be more accurate (and, sadly, less playable) than official sets

[MOC] - 1/32 Lavochkin's La-11 (NATO code 'Fang')

This photo is based on footage from the documentary featuring this particular aircraft: I think that the polar bear cub might have been adopted by Soviet polar explorers during the "Sever-2" ("North-2") expedition the previous year (1948), since a similar-looking cub is seen on the footage from the documentary about said expedition. -

Hello, everyone! Just a friendly reminder that anything looks better with tiles: -
The A-wing has been my favourite Rebel starfighter for a very long time, a very long time... Adding the ROTJ version to my Lego Star Wars collection was only a matter of time! I used the beautiful 75003 set's parts as a basis for my MOC. Enjoy! Rear view: Bottom view: Cockpit interior view: Here's the previous version of the same model, pictured together with my 2-year old Phoenix squadron A-wing: Hope you liked both of them!

Edit: I figured out how to solve the solar panel wings problem. Replaced photos with those of the upgraded model. It still lacks landing gear however...

For whatever reason, I always found the Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor's design to be very attractive. As a child, I dreamt about owning a Lego set version of one - and since 75168 realised in 2017, Yoda's unique spacecraft too. Despite becoming disappointed with Prequel and TCW stuff (for example, the beautiful Eta-2 somehow looks more advanced than anything seen in the OT, even if we assume that its performance is inferior to that of a standard TIE fighter), I knew from the very beginning that I'm going to create a Yoda starfighter MOC with the parts from the new 75360 set - after all, what's the fun without doing so? Here's the result of my work: The cockpit was made smaller than the one from the official set for accuracy purposes. It only fits Yoda's minifigure: Solar panels extended: Overall, I am quite satisfied with how this little build turned out. Hope you like it too! P. S. : special thanks to @MKJoshA for providing me with the 75360 set and the Mysteries RPG. Long live Mysteries!

Seems like the Ssi-Ruuvi won this campaign, and there's nothing I can do about it... -
EPISODE II - Truce At Bakura
Max_Lego replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
@MKJoshA, I succeeded! I posted my entry on time! Long live the Empire and New Republic friendship!!! -
As soon as the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium invaded the agricultural Imperial world of Kammia, Mon Mothma immediately expressed readiness to send the New Republic Starfleet to assist defending Imperial forces. For the pilots serving under the ambitious Commissar Rax, Thrawn's immediate acceptance of New Republic's help came as little surprise - everyone knew Thrawn as a pragmatic leader, and the situation went out of Imperial control. But Rax's enthusiastic demeanor towards the upcoming collaboration shocked even those aware of the Commissar's fanatic loyalty to the Grand Admiral - after all, Rax furiously hated the self-proclaimed rebel state. - As the late Emperor Palpatine once pointed out, - Rax explained, - accepting help from our direct enemies is not against the Imperial way, if absolutely essential to our Empire's survival. From this moment on, any anti-Rebel propaganda should be postponed indefinitely. - How are we supposed to collaborate with those Rebel scum? - the reinforcement pilots asked their leader before embarking on a journey to Kammia. - Just keep yourselves as friendly towards them as possible, okay? And of course, don't discuss any politics with them. In fact, consider this collaboration as "friendly competition"! Show Rebel pilots that TIE interceptors are superior to anything they fly... ... The Ssi-Ruu deployed thousands of Swarm-class space droids around Kammia in order to prevent any landing parties to assist the local Imperial garrison. Thrawn quickly came up with a plan, approved by New Republic Starfleet admirals. While TIE Interceptors engaged the droids in dogfights (thanks to their superior maneuverability), New Republic A-wings employed the 'hit & run' tactic against the latter (due to their superior speed). In the end of the operation, pilots on both sides executed Thrawn's plan flawlessly, successfully destroying all enemy droids. By then not only they put their political differences aside, but, most surprisingly, neither side cared whose starfighters were better. Upon learning this, Commissar Rax laughed so hard that the entire Galactic Empire crew felt that this was indeed a glorious day! ... Two additional pics of the RZ-1 A-wing starfighter: Please note, that the model was assembled in frantic hurry, has imperfections and is yet to be finished. However, due to limited time, I had to rush it into flight!

"...I don't want to say "Long live the Ssi-Ruuvi Imperium!" instead of the more appropriate "Long live the Empire!" at all!" - /Gallius Rax briefly considered doing harakiri before deciding to join the partisan movement... Seriously though, if I am lucky, I might finish my build on time! Let's hope for the best...
