Well that depends, do you taste good with apple sauce? I'm glad everyone is so excited about Mafia School, it promises to be a lot of fun. And this is only the beginning. -

Applicants looking for special entry will be reviewed on a case by case basis by a select panel of the senior faculty, but the chances are not high, and priority will be given to young, fresh new graduates. Because I like them fresh. More likely, special applicants will simply be eaten. We shall see. No Fangy, you may not try to get into Mafia School. -

Are you trying to imply that I'm getting old? Madame Headmistress speaks the divine truth; from now on, only those who are truly worthy shall have the honour of participating in the prestigious EB Mafia. Yes, we're elitists bastards, get used to it. -

And now for a small announcement. In an effort to get some new blood into our Mafia games, mainly because I'm a very hungry dragon, I have spoken to a couple of professors and we have collectively decided to found a small school of unspeakable horror. It is my pleasure to introduce to you all Mafia School. <insert accompanying thunder and lightning for dramatic effect> As the name suggests, Mafia School is designed to teach new players how to (or not to) successfully get themselves killed in an official game of EB Mafia. Our first Mafia School host will be none other than the devilishly dashing Headmaster of Madness himself, Sinister Sandy. <insert more thunder and lightning> The inaugural Mafia School game is titled Escape from Isla Paradisa and will run alongside the much anticipated Sex in The Forest (Classic Style), hosted by Dinckley. It promises to be an exciting game full of intrigue and comical deaths, I wish I could play. Maybe I will. Mafia School games will run outside of the usual schedule and will be limited (currently) to potential new victims who have not participated in an EB Mafia game before. The only exception to this is of course those atrocities that are Shadows' famous bloodbaths, because those aren't really real Mafia games, are they? Although I do love a decent bloodbath. Mafia School games are designed to follow a "standard" set of rules with a set number of players and roles. This standard is yet to be set, and is liable to change and review, but it is a standard nevertheless. If you think you have what it takes to tackle EB Mafia, you should stop lying to yourself and go get some schooling. Seriously, think of the children. So tasty. Mmmm, I smell fresh meat! Class dismissed. PS. If you want a good grade, I am always open to bribery. Now get out of my office. -
Lego D&D, woohoo! This looks quite neat, I'll have to get them just for the dark and light bley 2x2 jumper tiles. Yes, I have a psychotic fascination.

Name: Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum Host: def Dates: December 2010 - January 2011 Survivors: Dragonator, Ricecracker, Lord Arjay, Rufus, Scouts, CorneliusMurdock (Scum); badboytje88 (Neutral) Game Information From the files of Dr. V. Blutziegel, January 1, 1961: In the east ward of the hospital, shortly after the new year was rung in, a patient’s corpse was discovered. The body belonged to one Fred “the Walrus” Siggy. His body was hung on a hook in a broom closet, throat slit...I have demanded the east ward be placed on lock down. No patients or staff will be allowed to leave until the killers are discovered. I cannot have the police investigating this ward. There is too much of a risk that all I’ve worked to create will be torn apart. I’m giving the staff and patients incentive to work together to clean their ward of this nastiness that has entered it. Well, that was a fun first day, thanks for all your efforts JimBee, I enjoyed it. Second game I've been killed off on the first night, someone must love me. Don't worry everyone, I will be following the game closely and will make sure you all listen to your host. -

That's fine Peanuts, I was more making a note now before more people started discussing the convictions etc. If you're a player in the game, then what you say in here can affect people's thinking, and most players disapprove of that. Plus, it is in the rules. -

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I did mention it earlier in this thread, but apparently NZ isn't going to be getting the Pharaoh Quest sets, as LegoNZ has a limit on what they can order or some crap like that. I am seriously annoyed about it, it's probably one of my favourite new lines for this year. Australia is getting it limited to a few stores I believe. Myself, I'll be ordering it all in from the US I'd say. What a pain... -
I popped out the wrong way too accordingly, and I'm, err, just fine. Seriously, I hope all goes well for you and your wife mate, we will be thinking of you.
-
I've got a spare buck if you need it.

And I have a strong feeling he is a werewolf, so that is where our opinions differ. Interestingly, over half of the people here also think that Zed is a werewolf. Hence why I am ognoring everything you just said. Very well said sir, very well said. Harriet, your plays are always a marvel to behold, very well done madame. I don't think anything new has been said that I wish to comment on, so I think I'll have a glass of something strong before dinner if that is alright with you, Count Baron von Vampirepants.

I think BL is probably the best place to go for the PF train stuff. I want one of those boxes too, but $150 is ridiculous... -
I did the same test with several people as well, Arianna, I certainly wouldn't call it conclusive. You can even ask our dear novelist if you like, he queried me about it too, although I'm not sure how willing he'll be to vouch for me considering the current situation.
-
Same thing that happens when I'm found innocent, sir.
-
That doesn't make grammatical sense, moron. I know what you're getting at though, good job telling everyone. Feel free to vote for me, I don't mind, but you'll only be losing a potentially useful villager. More useful than our illiterate novelist over there. Your loyalty to your staff is... remarkable to say the least, chief. Hmmm, well this is fun, isn't it? More cock, anyone, or is it time for lunch? A good point, and I wonder why a couple of other people are so quick to defend as well. Caution I can understand, but they seem very determined to save someone who by all rights they shouldn't give a toss about. Very interesting.

It has been pointed out to me that the stats I bookmarked there are for when the werewolves have already struck the night before. Regardless, I was simply using them to back up my point that it is ridiculous not even to consider voting on the first day. For example, not voting today is the equivalent of starting with a kill at night. And then when we get no further evidence you'll all start saying you don't want to vote tomorrow either.
-
Sure thing, you can find some statistics in this book. "Note that the probability for the Town drops when there are an odd number of players to start with." I was just trying to make a point, that it is idiotic to be so dead set against voting on the first day, as that just lets them kill one of us during the night and reduces our chances of survival etc. Sheesh. Well then you're going to be waiting an awfully long time Officer, as evidence doesn't normally just fall out of the sky in situations like this. The best we can hope for is that one of the werewolves slips up, but until then, we're on our own. I would have thought that the Academy would've taught you that much at least. In normal circumstances, I would never consider it, but we have been asked to vote, and thus it is our duty to do so. I'm not standing by while the werewolves start ripping us to pieces, and frankly I can't understand why you are happy to do so. As I said, this vote is my opinion, feel free to vote for whoever you want to. But, vote we must, otherwise we're just sheep waiting to be taken by the big bad wolf... Whendid I say I was most likely condemning a villager? I said statistically it is more likely, yes, but that doesn't mean I think he is one. Currently, I think he is a werewolf, hence why I'm voting for him. I would have thought an Officer of the Force would have a bit more sense. You find my actions suspicious do you? Well, I find it highly suspicious that you are so quick to defend someone you know nothing about and should have no reason to trust whatsoever. Or do you? Yeah, and each day will bring death as well. If you're happy to stand by while your fellow townspeople are murdered, well that's your call, but I'm certainly mot going to. Action is the only way forwards. Seriously, I don't get you people and your squeamishness with voting, but as we can see, by placing my vote I have at least triggered several very interesting responses from people. Very interesting...
-
Oh I never said it was a good probability, I just said that in general, we have a higher probability of winning when we start with an even number of players than when we start with an odd number. Hurray for mathematics. Of course we're more likely to convict a fellow Villager, but if you can't handle a bit of innocent blood, then this really wasn't a good situation to get yourself caught up in, sir. Ah well, if you're just going to insult an Officer then I have nothing further to say.
