They think that they may FINALLY be able to live the simple and peaceful lives that they always have dreamed of. But the Mob isn't done. Far from it. Though the goons are gone, the most fearsome and powerful members still remain. And they will not be very willing to forgive the town for the massacre of their family. Things WERE looking up. Matt is unceremoniously digging into the food. Don't mind me, carry on with what you're doing. This town sure has nice hospitality for a communist-infested hole.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum - Day One
Dragonator replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
We're going in circles at the moment, the roman guy would probably say we've had a few skirmishes, but we still don't have anything final. Our PR has made his vote, which with the proxy means that dear nurse Penny will be gone soon, unless we decide on someone else. Several people have voiced suspicions against the King, is anyone planning to act on that? Personally I don't really get the feeling the nurse is sinister, but I guess it is possible. We need to make a decision soon people, whatever the case. Myself, I don't yet feel that I can in good conscious place a vote, however if we can come up with something soon I'd probably support it. We've had a few names thrown around today, and I think it is definitely worth keeping note of who hasn't said much so far. If people don't say anything, we can't really get a good opinion of them, can we? I dislike silence, almost as much as I dislike addictions. And I'm no addict, so there you go. -

You're jumping around like a raging lunatic! Which I guess sort of makes sense, given the circumstances. What was the reasoning behind this vote again? Or is it just more random guessing? Time is running out, it would probably be best if we could make a collective decision, rather than forcing our PR to do it for us. -

Good lord, did he just do what I think he did!? Right in front of us? That's... disgusting!! I'm glad the doctor is cleaning it up, my eyes cannot take much more... -

This is very true, but if we don't vote then we run the risk of the good doctor murdering us all in our beds. Or cutting off our medication... Not that I need any of that, I'm not an addict. -

I think it was stuck on with torn up pieces of wet toilet paper... There wasn't really anything there that convinced me, it simply suggested that if I was undecided I should support him. If his intentions were sinister then they were very blatant and put him right up there in the spotlight, which doesn't really seem like something a group of murders would be trying to do. I like chocolate. But, I could well be wrong, it's impossible to tell at this point in time. At least he has to be open about his actions, so if he does something odd then we will know about it, as the good doctor pointed out. -
Me too! I have to agree about tiling, it looks lovely, but it is damn expensive to do. They just disappear so fast... A nice effort for your first MOC, if you keep in mind the tips some of the others have suggested I'm sure your next will be a marked improvement. It's all a learning experience.

Just to note, we probably aren't going to find much of that throughout this ordeal, unfortunately. -
Awww, that's very sweet Sava, nicely done. I do love that tree design, those white leaves are very useful. It's nice to see some dragon's enjoying the Holidays too.

I would say it is very likely, why wouldn't they try and get one of their own onto the list? I'm not sure who we should vote for, but I do think both of the current votes are idiotic and irrational. Seriously, I know we have nothing to go off, but that doesn't mean we should be wildly voting off whoever. Remember, we're more likely to lose one of our fellow insane than we are a Sinister. That said, I don't have any reason to believe either of the current two votes are wrong, so I'm cool with whatever. Personally, I'm rather suspicious of the king for his sudden vote which he based off a Freudian slip, nothing more. He also voted to elect our current PR, if that matters at all. I did too, although only because I wasn't particularly sure what to do and found a message written on the bathroom wall. I'm so glad we have such a large bathroom with all the traffic in there. Dougie isn't really helping himself either, I'm not sure what he's up to with his voting. In terms of the current votes, Big Freak did get several elective votes for no apparent reason. Not sure if this is because he looks so freaky or because he was contacting people. The current PR was certainly campaigning, but I'm not sure if that is a bad thing or not, it is much too early to tell. I don't see anything wrong with Ms. Balls either, I need to hear the explanation for that vote again, it wasn't very clear. I think I need to take my daily medication now. I'm not an addict, you know. -
Are you insane enough for the Asylum? Probably not, but if you're feeling brave then you might want to follow the latest EB Mafia game, Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum, hosted by the utterly insane EB Fellow, def. Think of a happy place, hold on to your sanity, and go take a look at the Asylum you really don't want to end up in.

New Zealand: "Where to find Lego"
Dragonator replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You don't think it is a mistake? I would have expected the RRP to at least be more than Australia, more like $200NZD. But, maybe we're just finally getting some good prices. -

Gentlemen, we have a unique opportunity available. The Maersk Container Ship is currently on S@H for $139.99NZD, clearly a mistake, as it is 119.99USD, 169.99AUD and 129 Euros. If we could get 4 people to chip in on ordering one each, we could split the shipping, which would be great. Brickthing and I are both keen, anyone else? We need to do this ASAP before the mistake is noticed. -

Good morning fellow patients. I'm not very sure about whether we're making a good decision with this, but we're running out of time, and a decision must be made. I think I'm going to vote for the chief, he seems harmless enough, and there's no way I'm voting for Big Freak, I'd never hear the end of it back in the room. Vote for PR: Washing Bear (JimButcher) Well, I'm glad that's sorted. Hopefully we've made the right decision. we'll know soon enough anyway, if our PR starts acting up we at least know who he is. -

I did the same, it was a nice surprise! -
Communism, sir, is a very serious matter of national security, we take no chances when eradicating it.
-
Well, at least we know the National Guard isn't going to let the communist spy escape. Now it's our job to flush the pig out. So, where are we going people? We've discovered some interesting leads so far which I have been taking careful notes on for my report to the HUAC, do we want to follow some of these up?

First game I played, I was the town vigilante. Second game I played,I was a mentally deranged host. I think that explains a lot about my current mental state. Potato, anyone? Dragonator makes sure he reserves a spot at the front of the queue.

Thanks everyone for making this a fun and involved game. It was really interesting getting back into playing as a townie after a couple of games as the Mafia, I sort of missed it. I find the town side a really interesting challenge, you're always paranoid about who you can trust, what you should say to certain people etc. Especially when your town role has some sides to it you have to keep secret! I think the one big secret that I had which never came out was that I was the one providing the mayor with his vest. It seems vests were a big theme in this game. My role was a fun challenge, and I enjoyed the many heated conversations I had with many of you in private. Those are going to remain a mystery to the rest of you however; we dragons guard our secrets closely. I guess we showed you then, didn't we townies? Dragonator mutters something about unbalanced game mechanics. Seriously though, thanks for running this game Zepher. It had its ups and downs, and rampaging delays, but all in all I think everyone involved found some enjoyment in it.

Hey Peppy, welcome to the asylum. Good to see you here in east ward. You're going to get to know us really well. I'm not an addict, by the way. Just so you know. You're beautiful. It's only fitting. -
It's great to see some dragon MOCs around here again, thanks very much for sharing these Nuju Metru. You've made a lovely collection here, each dragon has a unique flavour and personality which has been very nicely reflected in their construction. I really like the number of joints you managed to pack into these lithe little bodies, it allows for a wide variety of poses which is always useful in minifig scale creations. My favourite bit has to be the jointed wings, those work fantastically with the custom fabric and look very realistic, although I must wonder how these dragons can fly with so many holes in their wings! The contrast in colour on Radgha is also very well done, nicely selected there. I really enjoyed reading the back stories, you've put a lot of effort into these and it is greatly appreciated. Definitely deserving of the front page. I can't quite place the pieces you've used on the sides of the front legs, I know they have pins on them to attach them to the leg but I can't think what set they're from. They make for a nice touch of detail though. Emget is technically a wyvern with only one pair of legs, correct? Also I think the sea ferals are very cute, I'd hate to imagine how they land though! I also have to mention that your posing of Imaust is fantastic, a very moving picture. I look forward to seeing these in some of your future MOCs, I appreciate you posting them.

Hey everyone, Salvatore here, confirming I'm still around. As if being locked in this place wasn't enough, now we're on lock-down... great. Is it Dougie's birthday? I always forget these occasions...
