  1. Well, I'm damn confused. Lupo and TimTam both certainly look suspicious from the results Jesus finally got from his action, but I am having a hard time believing it; I thought we could trust them. This is shattering my faith in what I thought I knew, and I have one other matter I am very confused about. We need to convict the sinister night killer today. The question is, who is it? I need to think on this a bit. I mean seriously, we've been in here for 7 days and the only sign we've seen of the Sinisters is their nightly killing!
  2. Excellent, let's head for the fire station and see if we can clear up this little mystery. we are running out of time, the communists are still running rampant, and I need some coffee. I wish I brought an assistant with me, you people don't seem to appreciate my awe-inspiring investigative abilities. Matt pulls out his notebook and starts writing, looking around at everyone suspiciously.
  3. Well, the day is drawing to a close. Time we made a decision people, we can't afford to make any more mistakes.
  4. In the interests of keeping things moving, I'm going to vote: Misty Monroe (badboytje88). I too have been suspicious of you for days, and your erratic voting record along with your unhelpful contributions smells sinister to me. I may change my vote depending on how this situation evolves, currently I have a couple of things to confirm first.
  5. Err, order please? Seriously, don't make me go find me whip.
  6. This is turning into a nightmare. How have we not been successful? How!? Every day so far we've thought we had evidence we could follow or suspicions that seemed promising. Yet still, we've got nothing other than a couple of independents. What the hell is going on? We still need to try and make progress today, so I suggest we say who we are most suspicious of, to start things off. My top two people are firstly Nurse Pendelton, who has been uncooperative and contrary, and Misty, who hasn't helped much at all and gives me an unsettling impression. Of course, I have no evidence against either of these people whatsoever. I'm also still suspicious of Dr. Ballbricker, who has been relatively quiet thus far, although I see she is making an attempt today... I don't have a clue who we should vote for, but I think the best way we can make progress today is to not stand around and complain, but rather to voice our suspicions and see if we can proceed from there.
  7. Alright, I'm now up to date, and have made my decision. I am going to Vote: Ted Nathan Tompkins (Whitefang). Something with you does not add up, and I want to know what it is. Let us see if this vote makes us some progress.
  8. Hmmm. I am very wary about this, but for the moment I will Unvote: TimTam Timmers (Lord Arjay). We can't afford to lose any more town power roles, and since the picture was the only thing behind my vote, I'm happy to give you another chance for now. But we will be watching. I am going to take a few moments to go over everything again before I place my final vote this evening.
  9. Well then, I guess that means you're not the one that killed our photographer. I've read through what has been said today again, and currently I think the best course of action would be to use the pictorial evidence we have from earlier. This is the only solid lead we have, and we should make the most of it now that Dr. Rajim is dead. Therefore, I vote: TimTam Timmers (Lord Arjay). If a better suggestion comes up then I may go with it, but for now I feel that this is the best bet we have for getting a Sinister today. And we must get a Sinister today. What else can we do other than test theories? Would you rather we sat here and did nothing? Just let them pick us off one by one? That isn't going to help at all! At least Jesus has actually been trying to make some progress, unlike you.
  10. I don't know what to make of the situation today. We've made no progress, we've found none of the Sinister, frankly every plan we've made has blown up in our faces. We've tried following Petey's results, and that has failed both for Sinister and Insane findings, so I don't know what to make of that. The only piece of evidence we have is that photograph. Should we act on it? Our main suspect there is TimTam, so that is definitely a possible course of action. I won't vote right this second though, I want to discuss a couple of things first. I can see why some of you want to vote out Jesus, he has taken firm control of proceedings and we want someone to blame for the mistakes that have occurred. However, I don't feel that these can be blamed on any one person; we've made collective decisions based off the information we've had, Jesus has just been the most decisive of us. Do I have any solid reason to trust him? No, I don't. But currently, I do, and until someone can give me some proper evidence why I shouldn't, I shall continue to. Out of all of us, Jesus is the one that has been trying to get things done the most. His night action certainly isn't one we would expect the Sinister to have, and we have proof of his claim from the photo Dr. Rajim took on night one. If I'm missing something here and being gullible, someone please explain to me, as I see no reason to doubt the Word of our Lord right now. Nurse Pendleton, I appreciate that you are attempting to discern whether Jesus is trustworthy or not, but I don't see how killing me is going to help you do that. Other than the fact that we currently trust each other, there is nothing else really linking us together that would help you when I am revealed as insane after being lobotomised. Jesus tried testing his proxy theory yesterday and chose me as the best candidate to do that with, true, but that was more based on Stash's investigation results than anything else. In hindsight, I don't think we really achieved anything from that experiment, but that's what this situation is all about really, testing theories until we can catch the Sinister out. It's fine that you don't trust me, I certainly don't have any reason to trust you, but I don't particularly feel that wasting my life is going to help the insane in the long term. Call me biased, but that's how I see it. What other options do we have for the vote? I am suspicious of Ted, but feel very hesitant voting for him based on Petey's results again. Could someone please explain that result to me please? Petey didn't get anything back, is that correct? If you look here you will see Martin himself was the one to say it. But they aren't his theories, they're based off the information we've been getting from everyone. You haven't been particularly helpful in trying to make progress, it appears to me your trying to vote out the only person who has actually been trying to get us to all work together towards a common goal. Are you trying to make progress, or are you perhaps attempting to prevent it?
  11. In the end, no. I see the price is still the same, so I assume we are just getting a decent deal on it. I'm hoping it will retail here in NZ at some point, no point paying all that shipping if I don't have to. Johnsonville had no series 3 minifigs sadly, I need to go hunting at some point. I don't want to miss out on getting a couple of elves!
  12. Personally, I am still happy with my vote. We need to vote someone out today, and unless anyone has a better suggestion, I still feel Havel is the right choice, as do most of the people who proxied to me. If you are not happy with my choice, by all means, remove the proxy, I'm not stopping you. Petey has told us he believes he is an insane investigator, the evidence so far suggests this is true, and as to what Havel has said in his defense, it is certainly heart-moving and tearful, but that doesn't mean it is sincere. They are just words, and I know more than one person who can lie through their teeth right until the end. So, with that in mind, I am still of the opinion that I have used my own vote in the right way, based on the information we have. If you don't like it people, you certainly don't have to support it, there is no way I'm taking responsibility for your votes, proxied or not. Your concerns Nurse Pendleton are understandable. With nobody really trying to achieve anything, someone had to take the lead if we wanted to make progress, and I think Jesus has made an admirable effort of that thus far, an effort I am happy to support. I have no conclusive evidence that he insane like me other than my gut feeling, Stash's confidence in him and his dedication to helping get rid of the sinisters, but he hasn't had me killed yet, and if he was sinster I suspect he would have by now. I agree Petey should be protected tonight, but I think you will find dear Nurse that there is more than one way to protect someone. Jesus' night abilities certainly have their uses, and we have at least one protector as well. I don't particularly want to be seen as trying to control the votes, this whole proxy thing wasn't my idea. If you think it will help us find the Sinister then I'm more than happy to oblige you all, if not, then it doesn't matter to me. Personally I'd prefer not to have all these proxy votes behind mine, it gives people the opportunity to weasel out of being responsible for their own votes come tomorrow, which I dislike. I can't see that it's achieving much right now, but it's your call, people.
  13. As I said, I'm a busy man, and this is a very busy time of year. I was sent here to lead the investigations and make sure that proper action is being taken against the communists, and I have done so by providing a figure of authority. I may not have contributed to the actual physical investigations much, I know that, but really my job is to make sure the information that we have collectively gathered makes its way back to HUAC properly and is acted on appropriately. My job wasn't to solve this whole mess by myself and find the commies for you useless louts. Do what you will, but I think you'll find the communist pigs have been here in your town a lot longer than the 3 days I have been here. I would encourage you to look at all the copious amounts of evidence we have found and put something together from that, rather than voting for me because you think I'm useless at my job. Did I mention how many of these types of investigations I've lead in the past? Hundreds, and all successful, I might add. I have my methods, and I'll stick to them thank you. And what the hell is that National Guard guy saying, how does he know anything?
  14. This is outrageous; I may not have been much help in conducting the investigations, but I am a busy man considering my job as a communist hunter. You think I'm meant to do all the work when I've got you lot to do it for me? Don't be so simple. I've spent this time making extensive notes which have been sent back to my team at the HUAC for analysis, and I have helped lead the investigations with your mayor and congressman, even if I wasn't actively involved all that much. I prefer to let you lot jump into the holes rather than do it myself, thank you very much! These white suits don't clean easily. Anyway, I can assure you, I'm not the communist spy you're looking for; I am here to help you find the communists that have been plaguing your town for weeks. Given the conversation overheard by Officer Fields during the night, I suspect we can't afford to make a mistake at this point; we need quick action to prevent whatever the bastards are up to from going ahead. I urge you to look at the evidence we have uncovered during the investigations, as I believe that the answer to our situation lies in that, considering the nature of this whole ordeal. In my experience as a communist hunter, we almost always uncover the filthy pigs by picking up on inconsistencies in the trail they leave behind, rather than randomly picking people out of the crowd because of how much they contribute to said investigations. Whatever the case, the decision is yours, but I assure yu, if we don't catch the communist filth now my superiors back in Washington will not be impressed.
  15. Sorry everyone, I must have had a stronger dose of meds last night than usual and ended up sleeping in a bit. Last night's results were certainly not what we were expecting. Quite simply, they were a disaster. Three dead, all insane, including our PR. This hasn't given me the greatest confidence in Petey's file-reading talents, but after listening to the analysis of his results from earlier today, I tend to agree that the only clear explanation is that he is insane through and through, which therefore makes Havel one of the sinister. It does sort of make sense, considering where we are. However, I really hate to assume. What if we are wrong again? Other than the photographs provided by Dr. Rajim, we don't really have any other leads. I am hesitant, as we can't afford to make many more mistakes, but unless we can come up with a better plan, I feel Havel is probably the best person for us to vote for at this time. I thank you all for your confidence in me with your proxy votes, although now I am feeling a lot of pressure to make a decision for you all. I am insane, yes, and Martin confirmed this, however that does not mean my judgment is going to be any better or any more well-informed than the rest of you. We are all working off the same information. Most of you who have proxied me have indicated that you would be voting for Havel, and as I also feel that is the best way for us to go today, I will, for the moment, place my vote accordingly. Let us see what comes of this action. Vote: Havel Pavlov (Sok117) Also, I would like to thank you all for your concern about my safety. It is true, I have a big target on my back now, but having been confirmed as insane, I have also been approached by someone who has offered to help make sure I stay alive during the night, in case the sinister's get any ideas. Jesus has also been a tremendous help in both keeping me alive and trying to help us sift out the sinisters. We may not have been successful yet, but I feel his actions so far speak for themselves. If any of you have any misgivings, I should say now that I trust Jesus, and think we are on the right track to saving ourselves from the scummy sinisters. Hopefully, our choice today will not result in such a disaster as we experienced last night. If anyone else has any other evidence or observations that might help with our choice today, this is your time to speak up.
  16. This sounds like a neat concept EXO-CHAMP, I look forward to seeing where you go with this. Just so it is clear, this thread is perfectly acceptable, you only need permission from me if you want to host an actual game/tournament via the forums. Discussion topics are always welcome! The games forum is meant for discussing all manners of games, whether they are played online or otherwise.
  17. well, thank you for those words King, I am much more certain we are doing the right thing now! Seriously, you expect us to believe that Jesus forced you to kill someone with his syringe? I find that to be completely ridiculous.
  18. My apologies for not being here sooner, but I have been listening attentively, so I am now up to date. We have ourselves a situation here. We have information which we can act on, and which will inevitably find us one of the sinister. Therefore, I think it is clear what action we should take. While I know the two results are both mutually exclusive, the conviction of the King will certainly indicate whether they can be truly trusted or not before we take any action against our PR. If this goes wrong, then Mr. Nowhere will have some explaining to do on behalf of the investigator he speaks for. I will use the proxy votes entrusted to me appropriately, and Vote: King of Delaware (KingofZempk). The photo is very intriguing, since the arm of the killer clearly has a colour. While I am always doubtful of pictorial evidence, I think that as this is a photo taken by one of our fellow patients/staff, we can probably take it at face value, much like with Jesus.
  19. I heard that! I am not an addict! And Stash is Martin's species, duh. Jesus, you people are enough to drive anyone insane!
  20. It has been a rough day, but I think we are starting to find some common ground on this issue. Of the people currently being voted for, I trust Kevin the least, and the evidence provided by Jesus and the alien both suggest that he is up to no good. It is too late in the day for us to try something else, and we have no other evidence to go off, so I think voting for Kevin is the best way for us to go. After Stash revealed to me earlier today his investigation results, I trust his word, and by extension I am currently happy to trust Jesus as it is in line with what the alien says. Therefore, I too will Vote: Kevin 'Shadows' Mitchell/Shadows
  21. Thank you doctor, perhaps our dear PR needs to try explaining that again? Seriously people, what's going on here? We're all trying to kill Jesus because he was caught doing something at night? You do understand that both sinister and insane people can go do things at night, right? This current vote bandwagon makes absolutely no sense to me, and I for one will not be following it.
  22. As a player it is a pain to have to step in on behalf of the host, but as the GM it is my duty to make sure the rules that have been set out are followed, so unfortunately there was no avoiding it this time. Admiral Ron, you were required to read the rules of the game before confirming that you would play, so there is no excuse for breaking rule 8. I have notified the host and he will deal with it as he sees fit. Following the rules of the game is a matter of trust, and they do extend to PMs as well. This means you may not quote anything from the host in your PMs to other players, including images, as stated in rule 8. If we cannot trust you to follow the rules, then these games simply will not work. *end grumpy moderator talk*
  23. Very nicely done, ISC, looking mighty fine. I love the brick-built bird of paradise. Lovely design as usual, particularly the beach to water transition and the shape of the mountain. And of course I have to love all the islander ladies.
