Is anyone else seeing how ridiculous this situation is? Let's break it down, all these long rambling posts are just confusing people. Facts: Donil targeted Yuri last night, which he has himself admitted to. Yuri is dead. Samuel can suddenly vote. Claims: Donil claims to be a "snoop", whatever that is meant to be. Denis seems to think Stanislav is a bit "scummy" looking. If there is anything else, I can't find it in all the mindless blather. Denis, could you sum up in a few sentences exactly what it is you find suspicious about Stanislav? Because you've rambled a lot, but I can't actually see what the problem is. You think it's bad that he wants a conviction today? Don't we all want a conviction today? I sure as hell do. Is it because he voted for Donil, our prime suspect for the day? Is there a reason then you aren't also pointing fingers at Ruxana, the person that provided the evidence/suspicions that Stanislav has based his vote on? Are you seriously voting for him because he looks vaguely scummy when we actually have a lead and evidence that indicates we have found the scum killer?
-
Umm, does anyone else find it odd that all of a sudden Samuel's vote counts?
-
Yes! That random act of violence in the street just made my day a whole lot brighter! We finally got one, and the godfather at that, which is always a bonus. I too am a little concerned by the choice of wording. "Russian Mafia" does seem to suggest either an overly pedantic God or the presence of another faction. Not really sure which is more likely at this point. At this point, we seem to have a lot of options as to what we do. There is the evidence against Donil, the suspicions from yesterday, although those seem to have been forgotten with the new revelations, and now a retaliation from the accused, who is voting for Stanislav. We need to make a conviction today, so I'm a bit dubious about Donil's reasoning. I do find it very interesting that Petr is so quick to support the vote, too. I need to give this some thought, the conversation up to this point has been so convoluted I need to go over it again just to try and figure out what everyone is trying to argue.
-
I would be more concerned about who was kissing the horse. I tend to agree, one of the people killing us is most likely on our side. Whoever it is, please be a little more cautious in your choices, as killing off townies is only helping the Mafia to a quicker vitory. The split in the voting is something that worried me greatly too, actually. Clearly the Mafia had some advantage over us last night, thanks to the lack of a conviction. In my opinion, the split didn't make much sense either; I still never heard the logical argument behind voting off Barbara. As for you Petr, I'd suggest after yesterday you perhaps keep your head down a bit, you've caused us enough trouble so far as it is. Your "lists" seem extremely self-serving from what I can see, and I for one have no faith whatsoever in your loyalty to our town, and so will not be paying them any heed, thank you very much. It is insane to so quickly rule out the possibility of 10 people being scum just on the way they voted in a single day, and especially since I can't actually see the pattern that so clearly distinguishes them from the rest of us. Yan, may I ask what exactly it was that changed your mind about Petr? Your sudden reversal in opinion indicates you have some new information for us?
-
Well, I'm standing by my vote. I don't see the logic behind voting for Barbara, and frankly Petr hasn't really given a convincing argument to defend his actions yesterday, in my opinion. In my experience, it is often the devious amoung us that first try to reach out to as many people as possible so that they will be able to manipulate them. Approaching 8 "random" people just doesn't seem like the sort of thing a cautious townie would do, especially when these 8 people are all meant to "share" information through Petr the puppet master. No, that just doesn't make any sense at all to me, and his accusations seem more like desperate attempts to divert our attention than actual substantial and helpful remarks.
-
Yan has raised some serious concerns. In my opinion, Petr's actions seem very blunt and destined to fail as an attempt at scum manipulation. So either he is an over-enthusiastic townie or he wasn't thinking too well when he made this little plan. Looking at Yan's statement however, I currently feel voting for Petr is the best course of action for today. We have a lead, we have suspicious behaviour, let's follow through on it. He could be an over-eager townie, yes, but as you say, the "network" is more designed to benefit Petr himself than anyone else. Something just doesn't add up here, and I want an answer. Thus I will Vote: Petr (Zepher) Also, I note Samuel's vote did not count again.

Weather here is pretty terrible, we've got these freak snowstorms setting in, and my internet has been all over. Hopefully this won't be a problem, but I thought I should give a warning just in case. -
We're not off to a good start, are we? Two dead, and both town, and it doesn't seem like we are any closer to finding the mobsters hiding amoung us. I can agree with that summary of what I've heard so far today. Fact is, we haven't discovered a hell of a lot. And we're probably not likely to either at this stage. The voting problem is an interesting one, and from my readings I would be inclined to conclude that another amoung us has control of Samuel's vote. I will be interested to see if samuel can vote today, or if it is something that can effect different people.

Purple strides through the front door and takes off her helmet, flicking her hair to the side in dramatic slow motion as she does so. Hey. Purple walks up to the bar and puts her helmet down with a heavy metallic thud.
-
My goodness you all talk a lot. At this point in time, as people have already pointed out, it is going to be very hard for us to come to a collective decision on who may be scum, as there isn't anything we can go off yet. We have the ability to vote, but we need to be careful as it is limited sadly. So for now I will wait and see if we can settle on someone, but I'm not really all that eager to be voting randomly sorry. Eugene raises some interesting points, but I will wait until Nika gets back to us before commenting further.

And now for something else During the brief interlude between games, I sat down with my cohort of minions and plotted some despicable things. Sadly I was later advised that enslaving you all to mine gold for me wasn't appropriate, however I did manage to make some progress in another matter. I'd like to announce our most recent Mafia Tag recipient, Roooooofus! Rufus has shown a great commitment to the games he has played in so far, and has proven to be a resourceful team player. Let's all give him a round of apple-sauce applause! Now, back to digging you lot! -
This is a grave situation comrades, but Ivan knows what he is talking about. He is clearly an expert in this field; we should follow his advice and drink up. Raya my darling one, I need my special drinking set, it is going to be a long day! We of all people know how crafty the Russian mobsters can be. We moved here to try and escape their regime, but they have still followed us to the shores of the great America. It must stop here. For the sake of our vodka supply. And the children. Stanislav speaks wisely. While I get some vague feeling that statistically it would help us to vote today, we must not do so randomly. Let's toss backa few glasses, observe our fellows, and see what we can achieve together.

General Discussion and Announcements
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
In response to the mystery question, there are no plans to have another game in that style in the near future. However, we do have something else lined up which will be revealed very soon... -
I see, so let me get this straight. We are voting for me because: - I am in some vague and undefined way "suspicious" - I was proactive yesterday and decided to start a vote when you were all just blathering and repeating the same information over and over. I should note I was not the only person to vote for Amy, and at the time I felt she was more suspicious than Irena. Lynch me for that if you will, but it just proves you're all morons. - I tried to give some opinions on people for the purpose of discussion - ...hmmm, that it? This is very sad, and I am disappointed in your lack of ability as a collective to try and come to a logical conclusion. Since I seem to be on the way out, my current two suspects for scum are: Pudgy Petra Corny Cornelia Petra I believe could easily be the scum in the group that voted for Irena yesterday. Her sudden change of heart could easily have been because she was trying to make sure she wasn't in the small group of people who went against the scum conviction, making her look guilty like it supposedly makes myself and the others that voted for Amy/didn't vote look guilty. Cornelia is more a gut instinct from how she has been acting in public over the last few days, playing off what people have said, making sure someone else leads the vote before jumping in, all the sorts of things I would do if I was disloyal. I'm more certain of Pedra, but I would recommend keeping an eye on Cornelia as well. You may think a lot of what I have said is fluff, but if you had any brains you would look past the references to pie and take into consideration some of the more serious points I have made. I tried to be subtle in places for obvious reasons, mainly that the scum are here with us, manipulating what we say and trying to turn the voting towards someone not of their own if they can, while still acting like the town. From what I have read, it is a common tactic for unloyal swine to vote against themselves early on so as to be as inconspicuous as possible, while still working towards avoiding the vote if at all possible. Yesterday they got very close to avoiding it; looks like they are going to manage it today, sadly. I do think it hilarious that you are convicting me for "acting the same as Irena". I'm going to be laughing about that in my grave, I can assure you. Perhaps that is more because Irena and I like to enjoy "life" rather than sit around repeating the same miserable crap over and over, regardless of our alignment. Clearly nobody in this family has a sense of humour. Food for thought, much like this delicious pie I baked earlier today. I would recommend come tomorrow that you actually try considering everyone as a possible suspect, and not just the people who voted against the crowd or haven't said as much. I can assure you, the scum will very likely be the ones doing a lot of the talking, since that is the only way they can manipulate you into voting for the wrong people. Richelle may be a bit of a flake and only voting for me because supposedly we are the only two options for today, but I do think there isn't any reason to be suspicious of her for not saying much. In many ways, not saying much has helped to highlight the people that have perhaps been saying too much, making it easier to see where they have been manipulating the hive mind. I'll leave you with those comments to consider, and wish you all the best in killing off the filth here with us. I hope that after I have been convicted you will at least take some of what I have said seriously and follow up on some of the leads we have started to uncover. Oh, and since I should probably vote, I will Vote: Petra Steinethaler (Peanuts), as she is my biggest suspect. Dragana retreats to the kitchen to bake herself a final delicious pie.
-
I strongly disagree. In fact I would say that we could almost guarantee one of the people who voted for Irena is also Not Loyal. I know Irena, when she saw the battle was lost, she would have told her filthy pals to pile on and aid the conviction, as then they would have a perfect alibi later on. An alibi you are providing them far too freely. Amy speaks the truth, we can't rule them out just because they voted for one not loyal who was clearly on the way out as it was. Myself, I would likely have changed my vote if I had been around, but sadly I was baking a pie in memory of my dearly beloved husband. I was very suspicious of Amy, but clearly my suspicions were not shared. That's fine, I'm not going to whine about it, I'm more than happy to move on and look at other suspects. That is what this is all about after all, finding the most suspicious person that we can all agree on. I'm glad the people who voted against Irena did so, as it gained us our first victory. The proposition that conversion is possible is ridiculous for our small family, so I'm not going to pay that any attention. Amy is speaking sense so far today, so I feel we should focus on someone else for our investigations. Just to put some names out there, I'll just briefly share my thoughts on everyone. Fuschia and Cornelia are ringing some alarm bells for me just from the way they are responding to events. Fuschia in particular seems to have some ideas today designed more to confuse than to help. Rupert and Amy both seem like adorable young kids, Rupert has been very logical and helpful throughout, as I have noted previously. Petra is still pudgy and seems mildly suspicious to me. I think my dearest Henry might have been on to something there. Richelle hasn't said a great deal, but nice to see her down for breakfast today. Tammo and Daniel haven't stood out much to me really asbeing good or bad. And I believe that covers everyone. Those are my thoughts thus far, what are yours dear family?

Indeed, after some discussion we've decided an alternative method of recognising Mafia merit is appropriate. This will be revealed in due time. -
Correct. Oh, and it appears to be bed time, silly me. Such a forgetful blonde!
-
Tssk, silly me, I hadn't really noticed. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it then Jacob, but thank you for chiming in with your insightful and thoughtful comments on our situation. Oh wait...
-
Can't say I've heard you say anything particularly noteworthy Jacob, so no need to be a hypocrite. Since Jacob is being unappreciative of my pie, I'll do what the rest of you seem so hesitant to do and get the ball rolling. We are running out of time, and standing around repeating what everyone else has said isn't getting us anywhere. At this moment, looking over what you've all said, I tend to agree that Amy has made some irregular comments, and is a dumb child with no future anyway, so I am going to vote: Amy Spalkowa (iamded). Sorry Irena, but at least she was adopted. Of course, feel free to suggest someone else if you have any substantive objections. I will be in the kitchen where I belong.
