I cannot confirm that currently, but I'll ask when I can.

I held back this information because we were trying to take you out during the night, as we felt it was necessary to deal with Lauren first. It's called employing a strategy. We now have clear evidence that you are the arsonist, so much so in fact that you can't even argue against most of it. Also, it is my understanding that the person who resurrected Helen did not intentionally resurrect Felix; their night action was hijacked by another person, which is worrying in itself.

Hi everyone, good to see you all alive. I have to run right now, but I have some information to share regarding Fantastic Mr. Fox over there. Basically, I believe he is the arsonist, and for several reasons. Firstly, I told him on day one that I was going to target him that night with an action that only works on villagers. I no longer have that action after my death, sadly, but it certainly gave him a motive to want me dead at the time. Secondly, he claimed to me privately, and to at least one other person, that he watches people at night and that Edgar did nothing on night 2. I have had it confirmed from two sources that Edgar was not blocked on night 2 and performed his action successfully. Next we have the ridiculous role claim Felix made to me yesterday, suggesting that if he was investigated he wasn't sure that he would show up as town. I have never heard of someone being both a miller and a watcher, and frankly I think it is ridiculous. Next we have his insistence yesterday that we could not trust Helen, which would match with his attack on her the previous night. Then there is the more obvious evidence from last night. Felix was blocked, and the arsonist did not strike. I feel from all of the above, there is a substantial amount of evidence pointing to Felix being the arsonist. We know that Lauren was not the arsonist as she blocked Edgar on night one, so the burning torch yesterday was just a narrative prop. I am worried about Becka, she did not turn up to wax my other arm last night, and she is not here this morning. I have tried contacting her, but she is apparently unavailable. I will be back shortly to answer any questions.

The Forest Mafia: Day Three
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hey everyone, it's great to be back. I'm very busy being alive so I haven't had time to read all of your comments, however I have read enough to understand what I have missed today. So, as someone you can hopefully trust, I'd just like to mention a few things I have discovered today. Hopefully they will help with your decision making. Firstly, I can vouch for the person who investigated Lazlo, and believe that they are telling the truth. With that in mind and the inconsistencies in Lauren's claims, I think it is clear she is a good choice for the vote today. I have also been told by an independent source that Pennie was successful in her action. I can't verify that, but it is worth noting. As for myself, I personally feel that Lauren hasn't been particularly consistent or convincing in her posts during the day, particularly yesterday while I was observing from the heavens above, so I also have my beer bear-gut instincts to follow. Personally, I feel the evidence against Lauren is plenty enough to convict her. Thus I will Vote: Lauren Lamb (Zepher). I have other concerns too, which I will express in due time, however I feel this is the most pressing one currently, and the one we are most ready to deal with. I have discovered a couple of other things too, but I will keep those to myself for now, as it isn't necessary for most of it to be public knowledge just yet. Let's make the conviction today count people. If you have any concerns, please feel free to contact me and I'll try to get back to you with my opinion on what's going on. -
The Forest Mafia: Day Three
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'd love to! I may have misread this, but we don't know the alignment of the person who revived Helen do we? Nor do we know who that person is. Just thought I should note that, I'm not reading anything into it currently though. -
The Forest Mafia: Day Three
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hi everyone, it's so nice to be back. I am deeply saddened that Wendell lost his life while resurrecting me, he was a good friend and I will miss him. But, I appreciate his sacrifice, for it is a pleasure to be back with the living. What a surreal experience. I see that a lot has happened in my absence. I am quite worried about our lack of knowledge of Bristol Bunny's alignment. Will all our convictions end this way? Or does it perhaps suggest that we haven't seen the last of Bristol? As to Jesus Helen, while it might be helpful to have one person who we can all trust, personally I would be wary about doing so. Not because I don't trust Helen (not saying that I do though either), but because once the information is out, it can't be taken back, and unless the host has confirmed the alignment of someone to you in some manner, through proper investigation etc, you can never be certain about that person. So, while you may want to be the centre of attention Helen, I'm not sure that it would be a good idea. You may well decide to confide in someone you shouldn't, I've seen it happen before to people with the best of intentions. Did anyone see or hear about this supposed crow? That sounded a bit ridiculous to me. -

Tips on hosting games?
Dragonator replied to The man with shades's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Welcome to EuroBricks. If you want to play/host Mafia, then perhaps you should look in our Mafia index. That's what it's there for after all. To reduce the need for topics which can be answered by simply reading it. As you will see in there, you need to have played several games on EB before you even think about hosting. Then there are guidelines for how to go about getting on the hosting list. The hosting list is also in the index. Convenient, right? As that answers your question, I'll close this topic. Any further questions can be directed to me via PM (once you have 10 posts, that is). -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Dragonator replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Bastard! *goes to cry in the corner* MC1 was great fun at the time, but you're right, it was bloody messed up in several regards. But hey, we live and learn, and the early games can teach us a lot about how the current ones evolved into what they are. Mafia history is truly fascinating, they should make a university degree for it. -
General Discussion and Announcements
Dragonator replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The current games have just started, so the sign-ups for the next game won't be until after they are finished, sorry. I encourage you to follow along though, they are a lot of fun to just read and soak up the atmosphere. -
Mafia School: Escape From Isla Paradisa
Dragonator replied to Sandy's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That is entirely correct in any standard RPG, yes. And it applies to Mafia too. Your character wouldn't know that in the previous game, Shadows was scum and murdered everyone sneakily while remaining fairly inactive in the threads (just as a random made-up example). Thus, you may not use that information as justification for a vote against him. Similarly, as the roles are all assigned randomly and everyone should have an equal chance of being scum, trying to get someone convicted because they have a grumpy face is more likely to make you look suspicious than them, as it really isn't conclusive evidence. Although you are right that technically it isn't really metagaming, it's just ridiculous logic that should by all rights be shrugged off if it is ever raised. As with the example JimBee posted, it would be ridiculous to assume that the policeman is an investigator just because he is a policeman, but that doesn't mean that it isn't possible. That just isn't the reason for it, random probability is. Broadly we tend to refer to this as "metagaming" on EB, for the sake of convenience. However, we do encourage you to have a bit of fun roleplaying, so feel free to look sideways at people and make rude comments about their terrible choice in clothing, just don't expect to get very far if you try to use it as evidence for a vote. On another note, much of the confusion so far (editing, posting out of character), could easily have been avoided if you'd all read the damn rules. So read the damn rules! -
I concur with this my dear pussy cat. I may only be a simple garbage bear, but I know the importance of us starting to gather information now, before the demons begin killing us off during the dark of night. If we refuse to make a conviction just because it is the first day, without even making an effort, then we are wasting our first opportunity to observe voting and posting patterns. I was under the impression this was an all-furs game, so I didn't think I'd need to explain this to you all. Some of you may recall my commentary on the werewolf play that troupe of actors put on last season. Statistically, the town are more likely to survive if they actually get off their tails and do something. You'd think that would be obvious, wouldn't you? But clearly, some of you think that simply doing nothing will make the problem go away. Here is a pussy big bear can admire. We've already learnt some things from the voting so far today, which is good. Currently, I don't want to vote for Helen just because she led the charge so to speak, so I will not be unvoting. I only get to do it once, so I'm not going to do it until I have someone I find more suspicious than Edgar. I have read through what Edgar has said, and frankly I find it to be a convoluted mess of "subtle" hints and claims that could be interpreted in any number of ways. I agree with Helen's original reason for the vote, and while I do think that Edgar's defense should definitely be considered, currently it is not enough to make me change my mind. We've learnt the most so far today from seeing how people react to votes, something which our well hung blacksmith could do with remembering. We may all think we're pretty awesome at life, but sitting around and doing nothing really isn't awesome at all.

Nah, not these days, far too obvious. They'll be hiding in front of us, in plain sight. I agree with the points made above, so without further ado I too will Vote: Edgar Elephant (WhiteFang).
-
I'm keen for a furry party! Will there be nuts? I love nuts. I tend to agree that there isn't much we can do right now without taking a risk and voting randomly. Marcellus didn't seem very sure about what would happen if we don't convict someone, but it probably won't be good for us. This is a tricky situation.

The Forest Mafia Confirmation & Discussion thread
Dragonator replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So, when do we get to see all the bios? Weren't they meant to be in this thread? Some of us put a lot of effort into those, it better have been for good reason. -
I suppose it does. I don't really notice, since it's part of my occupation and all. I don't think I've ever been to a beauty salon, it sounds so luxurious! But, what is this waxing? I'm so cute, furry and innocent that I don't understand some of these strange foreign words.

This garbage bin is so warm and cosy! I find it hard to believe that there are such cruel, heartless furs amoung us. We're such a nice community, this whole situation saddens me. Big black bear needs a hug.

I may not have the most appealing job, but it an essential one which I'm more than happy to preform. does anyone remember electing our mayor? I'm having an Orwellian moment, whatever that is. Hinck the URL for your damn avatars is a single character too long to be used as an avatar. It's as if you expect me to host it myself or something... -
