  1. The first two Sets you mention are no GWPs but will be for sale for 14,99€, though. So far the Diner is the only GWP we know of.
  2. Deutsche Post only allows documents to be sent by mail (would be same to EU btw), so he would have to send it with DHL, with their smallest parcel. No idea why he states it would exist in the EU though. So the only thing he could send to you with deutsche post using mail would be building instructions.
  3. I think you can´t say kids like this or that anyways. Some kids will like Minecraft more, others City or friends and Ninjago seems to be quite popular too if we are looking at it legowise - and it will be same with games in general, TV-Series etc. And one thing we shouldn´t forget here, that kids also get influenced by their parents, especially now with Disney bringing Kids-Targeted Series out. Parents that like Star Wars will watch those with their kids, buy SW-Sets for them etc. So I wouldn´t say aren´t into Star Wars. However I would agree with you that many of the Sets are bought from adults (for themselves, though some will surely build them with their kids even in this case). Star Wars gets just so many different Sets each year and with limited amount of money/amount of presents that will split over all those different sets and then also over those from different themes it is only natural IMO, as Adults are more likely to buy more different sets. However it is hard to tell how many Sets are really meant for Adults or Kids. Is it? When I was a kid it already changed a lot. I mean kids won´t care and if I would have gotten one of the classic space vehicles I would have built it and played with it nonetheless. But if I would have been brought to shop with classic Space Sets and other sets from that time, there is no way I would have choosen it. Lego products and toys in general back then where much more simple built and looking, whereas todays toys are much more detailed, so yeah, what kids liked indeed has changed. Funny, when I see Ninjago, it always reminds me on the Knights Kingdoms II Series ;). I think especially Star Wars helped a lot to get Lego popular with Adults. And nowadays, all those licensed Themes help Lego to attract more Adults, that usually don´t buy Lego, whereas AFOLs nowadays buy from all themes for themselves really, which also is great for Lego ofc.
  4. Well it doesn´t even say, that any of this would be true really, so all of it can be the joke then. Anyways LotR would be one of the more likely ones from that list to me.
  5. Well I wouldn´t call Bag End unlikely at least. But Gandalfs arrival would be a good size for a gwp IMO. I don´t think Edoras is that unlikely actually either. I mean likely it wouldn´t be the first thing you would think about, since there are more iconic places. But to me it would make sense to make that one as long as the Viking Village is in Production, since it can benefit from parts there.
  6. Well, I never mentioned that I would think they would to that. I won´t be surprised if the gwp will have no minifigs at all. And if, I guess it would be more something like Gandals arrival.
  7. Brickmerge says the 14th. That is why I thought he would be a cool choice, though of course they made those sets and were done with the figure, so doesn´t really matter for them wether they bring back that one or an other. Yeah, though I wouldn´t be surprised if they would use the 2x2 dome from friends instead.
  8. Cool to get the orange one again but I would still wish to get the purple one instead of another white one. Well I would guess we will see the purple one coming sooner or later too. I would almost bet, that the chef will have green "skin" ;).
  9. I would really like to see the proof for that claim, we discussed that before and just stating it again and again doesn´t make it any more true. No new info yet. Can basically be anything from a Retro Set to one accompanying the City/Friends space themes. All info we have now is that it will have 239 pieces, which is quite some less than the Blacktron Cruiser had. Could really be anything.
  10. I can basically live with every new dinosaur they design as long as it looks good and especially actually exists. Some more diversity instead of more raptors and T-Rex would be great.
  11. Not that rare as it would seem. Sure they will try to use as much existing parts as possible, but it isn´t like it is really that rare that they make exclusive print or parts in new colours (and actually making one in new colour wouldn´t be any different to bringing any part not produced in that colour at that time back). We just had two new trans-yellow pieces, an new printed space baby head, and the head and body in a new colour in just one gwp. Jane Godall GWP had two new prints and one piece in a new colour at least, and also brought the Chimpanzee back. Surely that many new pieces/prints in one set are indeed rare but there are plenty more examples that got at least one or two.
  12. I think this was more a general comment, for their sales in general, not JW - since they don´t publish any information about how good themes are doing aside from the 5 themes they mention every half year, it would be hard to make such a claim anyways. Since the Ankylosaurus is going to be brickbuild, and they rather tend to use less parts to built the dinosaurs, I have my doubts that will be the case. I just hope the stegosaurus gets movable legs.
  13. I wouldn´t think it would be something with an (exclusive) minifigures inside, let alone a high recommended one, though of course you never know. I would guess for something brick built like they did for D&D with the mimic.
  14. Looking at it, I would say because there are so many microspaceships out there and the alien is what makes it stand out from them.
  15. Are they in production though? I mean sure, they are still on Pick a Brick, but it seems more like it is still around because of this set to me.
  16. I added him, thanks. Any other name for that one would have surprised me anyways lol.
  17. Honestly, all beeing grown ups we should be able to word our concerns without using that word. How is this cencoring opinions? You can still decribe what you mean without using it. So yeah, that word is censored, but your opinion is not. Especially when you think it is so important to talk about it, it actually should be helpfull to make people describe what they don´t like, instead of just using that word and beeing done with it. ;)
  18. If I were Lego I would have just named them Johnny Thunder, Basil the Batlord etc. But well, they choose otherwise for whatever reason. Maybe so people that don´t know who those firgures are don´t wonder? Possible one day someone will find out in an interview, but until then. However, the Series is on the official Websites now, so we got the names. Orion M-Tron Powerlifter Blacktron Mutant Alien Beetlezoid Spacewalking Astronaut Ice Planet Explorer Retro Space Heroine Robot Butler Nurse Android Flying Saucer Costume Fan Imposter Alien Tourist
  19. In that case I would cancel the whole order. Anyways seems D&D is a bigger thing over in the US, in Europe it is still avaiable.
  20. I wouldn´t wonder if they would use their faction names to describe them actually. No idea why they didn´t do that with the other figures anyways, since all of them were clearly refering to their older versions, but with Space it seems even more likely they would do that, since it would be boring to call them Red Astronaut, Mutant Astronaut etc.
  21. The Brown Spaceman has a classic face though, and well the baby uses a more childish look with how the eyes are designed, but overall it still the smile is quite similar to the classic face.
  22. I´d say this set is actually the reason why it is still avaiable at Pick a Prick. But yeah, as I said, overall a strange decision.
  23. You could try your luck at one of the stores if you have one nearby, but there won´t be more gwps when all people get to buy them. But basically who wanted to buy it has insiders anyways, so doubt there are many people waiting for the 4th to get it ;).
  24. Yeah, well but if they want to use a modern face, then the modern space minifigures from City would be the better fit. With the plants and aliens known, or better said related to that from city and friends, that would be the more fitting choice anyways. Not that I complain that we get a classic space figure instead, though, since they were not in production anymore anyways, I would have wished they would bring back another colour we didn´t had in the galaxy explorer just recently.
  25. Pictures for both are up, and supposed to be released in may. 40715 has 181 pieces and will be 14,99€, including a classic spacemen, with a not classic face (no idea who made that choice, but it does look kinda creepy to me) 40716 has 206 pieces and also will cost 14,99. No minifigures here. Both are based on the City/Friends Spacesets and include buildable wildlife. I kinda like them, though I wish they would have used the classic face for the spacemen (of course that is easy to fix)
