  1. Most likely they got destroyed. Which doesn´t make it impossible for them to return them, though, they could just make a new one. I don´t think that the troll from Harry Potter will make any higher chance for a new LotR one. Anyways, as I wouldn´t expect them to make any playsets aside maybe for the new film for next year it might depend on if that one has any of those included - or what big set we will be getting and with Bag End for instance, I don´t see them doing any new moulds for animals. They could aswell make a Mines of Moria Set, then the Troll would be almost given. Might not be the most likely option to happen though - but would actually be my choice if I could decide what they would make next.

  3. I guess it depedns on a lot of things which option is better. If you are just building Sets and are collecting certain things, like CMFs, Animals and Dinosaurs for instance - but you are not building Mocs, then buying just the Dinos is very likely the best choice. If you are creating Mocs, it might depend on what kind of mocs you build. If you are building a Jurassic Park or an own Lego City for instance, Sets would be the way to go - if you build more Historic stuff or Nature you might find many of the parts included not very usefull. Then, as mentioned above points like shipping might also play a role, if you life in the USA for instance it will be much easier to get what you want than in countrys with a smaller number of offers avaiable.
  4. Account Settings->Display Name
  5. Well, better that way IMO, since it would probably be an easier skip than a brickbuilt version - which I still think would be unlikely especially as GWP.
  6. We will get old and new locations for sure, but we will not get every location they already made either. I would guess we will get some part of the Philosophers Stone challengers, but whether we get Fluffy is just uncertain.
  7. Just type 5062 into the searchbox.
  8. Yeah, I thought about that option but in the end I thought it seems kinda unlikely that they would go this route. I also would expect the Cauldron to be a bit bigger than the Shops are and with the Backyard included it would rather guess they would do the cauldron on its own, or with an small shop to better depict that you are entering the Diagon Alley.
  9. I´d say Knockturn Alley is still pretty Iconic however - and Malfoy Manor didn´t get more scenes really either - and one of which kinda disqualifies itself from beeing depicted. Sure we don´t know yet if it will be exclusive, but in the end does that really matter? They could aswell make a Knockturn Alley Set in the style of the Diagon Alley System and give it the Slot of the Durmstrang ship for instance. Doesn´t have to be the Back to Hogwarts Slot. And probably, if they would be going for a expansion of the Diagon Alley System with a bigger Back to Hogwarts-Slot I would probably rather think they would do the Leaky Cauldron there instead - which is indeed more fitting to expand it and more iconic - and with the Knight Bus getting a new Set next year that would also make sense.
  10. We all might get eaten by a Rancor for it, but I have to agree here. One of the reasons I often just scroll though this thread and don´t read everything. Another is, that while I am enjoying Star Wars, watched the Films (well 1-7 at least), and at least the unanimated Series (not watched Akolyte yet) I maybe understand half of what is written here only ;). And so far I am glad about the series they made and enjoyed all of the ones I watched. Sure everyone has their own taste and that is totally fine. But it is really a matter of how it is worded - and how often. I mean, I am here to enjoy a hobby and while that certainly is Lego in this Forum, I just don´t want to see to much negativity really. There is enough of that on the outsideworld, the news, and I really don´t need it in a place where people should enjoy their hobbies together - as mentioned above, critique is fine, and so is your post, no worries. But some people seem to use every chance they get to word what they don´t like, where they rather should try to see the positive maybe.
  11. Well both Sets/Systems are labled Diagon Alley though, so a Knockturn Alley Set would have to have it´s own labeling anyways - and in the end I don´t think that it matters that much how people would display it in the end to Lego. And in the end it might just be more likely for Lego to do it as a 18+ rather than a playset for me. Eitherway, I am sure people will be happy if we get one no matter which version it would be. Well, it doesn´t have to be a 400€ Set, they could also decide to just make Borgin and Burkes for 200€ or even less - depending on whether they would add some smaller Shops to it. I mean there are still enough Shops where we know the names and what they are there for to just make one smaller shop left and right of it, where Lego could just make the interior based on their imagination - not like they didn´t do it like that in the past already.
  12. Hmm, I´d rather say that F1 Drivers would mainly appeal to F1 fans, while an unlicensed Version would appeal to Lego Fans. Now sure there are fans of both, but I don´t think a unlicensed Series would appeal much to F1 fans and a licensed to City fans. Of course, there are always certain figures and parts that will appeal to more people. Like people that don´t care that much about F1 could still want to get a driver from their country, or people not interested in a racing series could want to get an octan men. All in all, it is hard to tell how well received such a series would be but overall I would bet that a Castle or the D&D series would/will be better received. Would say Pirates and Space should be doing better too, but could aswell be wrong here. In the end they will not just throw something at the market without any indication that it would do well.
  13. The good thing for me is, whether it is an actual licensed F1 Set with Drivers, or an unlicensed Racing- CMF I don´t think I would need any minifigure of either of them.
  14. I don´t think so, I mean if there were a Borgin and Burkes Set, that would have to include the Fireplace aswell to feel complete. I don´t think they would make it in a way where the GWP would have to be included in the actual set. I would hope if they make such a Set they would make it to go alongside the Diagon Alley and Gringotts Bank Sets and not the WWW-System.
  15. I don´t think they will announce any results for this, so we would have for the set reveal - if there weren´t leakers that will spill it way earlier that that. Not sure if we should expect it to happen this year though - it is possible, but I wouldn´t bet on it.
  16. Not anymore I would rather guess ;).
  17. I wonder how many people were holding off to buy the Durmstrang ship to buy it together with the GWP, since I would guess it will be enough for the GWP - as a Semi-Exclusive Set it would make sense to choose that one, though if many are going to buy the Burrow anyways, I guess it doesn´t matter in the end. Eitherways I would guess that those two will be the top Sets to go alongside the GWP - as you said Sets like the Great Hall don´t really make much sense as they are much cheaper elsewhere - and I doubt we will see that one discounted already this year.
  18. So far there is no reason to think the GWP will be sold exclusively to the Burrow, and I would bet it will be on all Harry Potter Sets just like it was last year. What I do like about the GWP is that we get Lucius instead of yet another Harry Minifigure. Would have expected a second Minifigure though. Overall I would say it is a good GWP with a nice play feature but last years GWP was much better.
  19. Might just depend on how much of their budget they are willing to spend on the Advent Calendar, compared to the Sets.
  20. There is a big number of entries for Ideas, and only very few of them become a set, so I wouldn´t put much into any set not getting approved. However it doesn´t seem unlikely that they are working on the next set already, given they don´t seem to sell that bad from an outside view.
  21. Well but with one set for each of your categories, I don´t see how any of that would really tell them anything, you would never know if people bought it because it was cheaper than the others or because they just liked the build more/ the model is more iconic.
  22. Well nothing is really IP locked, that is more something that determines if parts should show up on Pick a Brick, but Lego can reuse them for anything if they want. But yeah, for some parts I don´t see much use but in the end you will never know when they will have something where a part could fit, and sometimes it might be something totally unexpected - and even parts where we say it is unlikely for them to show up again might show up while otheres we find more likely won´t. Anyways I would make some guesses anyways: Lady of Pain´s Head: Probably the ones that I would say is the least likely, but you never know, they could just use it as some kind of decoration (unprinted of course) Tiefling Hair: I see very little use for this one really, as it mainly fits for a tiefling and if they were to do a devil for instance they would likely do a new hair instead of using this one. Baby Dragon: Sure there are other moulds for this around but I could see this one beeing reused - either as a dragon, or as decoration/gargoyle. Mindflayer-Head: Unless we see another D&D-Set I don´t know for what it would be reused, especially since you can´t attach a head to it or anything. Same goes for the Intellect Devourer. Elf Bard Hair: Not that unlikely to see it again I think, since there are other themes where they could use it for elves. Dwarven Axe: Probably the part with the biggest chance to see it again. Aarakocra: They could reuse the head for a fantasy brickbuilt creature, but probably that isn´t that likely - better chance for the wings I think. Druid Hood: Only way to use that again would be a druid - and I don´t think we will see one again for a while. Gith Dagger: I guess it depends on if they need one that looks similar again, so maybe the chances for that one are not too bad. Dragonborn Breastplate: Hard to say, there are others around that are more commonly used, but I could see it used again with time to get some diversity into everything. Also could fit good to a tourney knight, since many wish for such a set.
  23. Especially for Jurassic Park/World I think the majority tends towards moulded ones - I can see why they made the one from the Diorama Brickbuilt but overall I do prefer the mouded ones - and same does go kinda generally, though it might also depend on the size - and of course how well it is done. If we are looking back at the fantasy Era for instance, they had really great dragons and the same goes for smaug from the Hobbit. On the other side we do have the Ninjago Dragons, and they have a certain size where they work well beeing brickbuilt, but also use moulded parts, like for the head - and other example for that would be fluffy from HP, but that one looks really bad to me and should have become a moulded figure, instead of just a headmould. Anyways, that beeing said, I am not sure if it really is an unpopluar opinion.
  24. Well with time we will for sure get more, but I don´t think this will happen over a short time span - and also they might bring older colours back and make other new ones not presented in the series. Anyways, I still with they would make something like Bennys Space Squad, just 4 Classic Space figures with small spaceships/rovers etc. Wouldn´t need to be new colours, I would actually love to get colours back they did a while back and were not included in the Galaxy Explorer, such as blue, yellow, black and pink. Green and Purple would also be welcome.
  25. Well honestly, it wouldn´t make sense to just make all colours. In the end then there are so many more they could also do and for the Set there is supposed to be a number of different figures, so including different Spacemen would be disapointing for everyone, that isn´t a Lego Space fan ;). And putting one in every CMF now would also be kinda boring - every once in a while is fine though.
