Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
All other Castle Sets of the new wave we got so far also had Hogwarts Castle in the name, so they will just be normal additions to that one. So far all but the Diagon Alley Set and the Manor seem like small sets, but hard to tell without a price of course. -
Disney Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well chances for that aren´t that bad IMO, though since that one would likely not feature Sparrow, or at least not as the main role (and if it will be the main role, then played by someone else), we would have to see if there will be sets made for it and how well the film or films will be received. -
Which is just not true. We had at least one unlicensed series and one licensed each year, with the third beein either of both. And honestly, sure there are repeats in the series, if we just look at the number of knights for instance. But in the end they are one of the most popular figures in each series they are included and it isn´t like they all look alike, so I am totally fine with getting more knights ;).

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
We would first have to see if that is even true. First of all we don´t know if it turns out to be a celebration Series and even less if it will be a costumed one. Well, if that turns out to be true, then I can at least see two positive things there. That could mean that they keep doing headthemes that go over several Lego themes and this would then also increase chances they could do it with Pirates and Castle in future. The second one would be that I would save money since I am not interested in F1 at all. Makes no sense to me. The two series you mentioned would have a highly bigger demand in their countrys obviously, but F1 isn´t something that is made for a certain country since drivers are from all over the world. Is it? D&D would have something for D&D, Castle and Fantasy Fans, so no idea why it would be worse than a Muppets or Looney Tunes for example. I would rather say that D&D is probably the licensed series that would have most appeal to people that don´t care about the IP so far. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, the inhabitants of Athens (the city) of course. Back in the antiquity there was no such thing as Greece but just city-states, such as Athens, Sparta, Corinth or Thebes. We already got a spartan and as Athens is probably the second most famous of the city-staates, it would make sense to get it next. Wouldn´t mind another spartan either though. Firefly ^^ -
LEGO Fortnite 2024 and on - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in LEGO Licensed
That doesn´t make sense though. Then they would have put one Minifigure each in the buildable Sets, so people who want the minifig are more likely to buy it and at the same time could have put less minifigs in the bus (like 6 for instance and they would still have the same total amount of minifigs for the wave). Anyways, if we look how many sets without minifigs they are doing lately (and buildable objects that still include one minifig) I would say the reason is simply because people buy them. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
To me, historic Figures are always welcome, whether it are Knights, Samurai, Romans, Celts, Scots, Spartans, Egyptians, Teutons, Athens, Pirates, Western or something else. -
We still have to see if we really are getting them in March though. As far as I know no credible leaker confirmed that rumour yet.
-
We did: However just because we got one last year that doesn´t give us any clue on whether we would get one or not this year. We got a castle Set the last two years and this still wouldn´t mean we will get one this year either. It would surprise me if they don´t make one, but we will have to see. On the other side we got two Space GWPs but with their theme spanning space headtheme that doesn´t mean anything either, but would at least hint that retro-themed GWPs are definitely working, so I will wait for more of those to pop up.
-
Well we still have 5 months left, so sure it is possible. Though I wouldn´t take the Lion Knights Castle in relation with the Majisto GWP, both had nothing to do with each other and drawing conclusion from there to the Eldorado fortress won´t lead anywhere. Anyways I would be surprised if we wouldn´t get a castle related GWP this year either since those seemed to do quite well (though probably to black friday that isn´t really hard) and for Pirates we just got the legoland exclusive Set, so getting another Pirate related GWP doesn´t seem unlikely either, so lets just hope we get both.

Just that Lego designers love to put references to old themes in Sets.

Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
I know it is annoying when people come and beat the dead horse, especially when it seems a lot like trolling at this point. But I don´t see why that should be a reason to lock this thread as people still can talk about the sets here. And in the end, people also can just open a new thread instead if they would want to, so closing this one down wouldn´t change anything ;). -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Black Falcon replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yeah, very usefull indeed. I´ve ordered some Minifigure heads in the past, that looked really great, but when I got them I realised they were wearing deaf-aid which you didn´t saw on the pics provided. I also ordered some bare torsos - and when they arrived they all had a duckling tatoo on the back... -

21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
Black Falcon replied to Black Falcon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Quite interesting, that Lego gives the D&D chest a second run, should be the first time happening to a set exclusive GWP. Wondering if they did because it was sold out rather quickly and if they would do the same for the Lord of the Rings GWP aswell.- 686 replies

21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF
Black Falcon replied to Black Falcon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Must be the Dragonborn, since that is the only one we really see more of in that video. And honestly, the torso looks great, I guess I will have to remove the Armor of them and use them for other minfigures, with plain torso, since the armor even covers the arm printing of the Dragonborn.- 686 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Most of them likely are just references to past themes, that lego designers like, or references to Lego Designers themselves, which aren´t that uncommen either. Or could aswell just be something a Designer would like to build, hence why it is difficult to say what are real references for the future and what not. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I still only see a low chance for a Castle CMF and if we get it I don´t think it would be the next, since they probably would want to see first how good the space one sells. However, if they would release one, I would hope for some usefull civilians alongside the obvious knights related to past Lego themes. And please no costumes, they can save those ideas for their next costume series, but for a Castle Series I want usefull figures. -
Space-saving display ideas for modular buildings?
Black Falcon replied to Juide_Sock's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don´t know what kind of shelfes those people you are speaking of are using, but normal books shelfes should hold Lego just fine, as books weigth more than modular buildings do. Also many of the videos of collapsing shelfes have kids involved or other accidents. -
Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Quite strange indeed, though shouldn´t be that hard to change it. Anyways you would think that is is something that should be spotted in playtesting. -
Probably they made that gap because it is a test run and so far that they will come in march is nothing but a rumour. Honestly, to me it seems a bit short between the test and release, so we will have to see if it is true. Eitherway, they likely will keep the numbers regardless of when the sets really will be released. @The Island Chronicles it would be nice if you shorten the post you are quoting if there are large pictures (and even more if the whole post is written twice) Else it is a hell to scroll though a topic when there are several huge quotes in it ;).

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Black Falcon replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There is a difference between a themed a licensed series though and whle they would have to come up with 13 minifigures for Space then, for D&D they only had to choose between classes and some named characters, that isn´t really taking away any idea related to a castle related minifigure. Also, if we look back at past themes we had at least 2 Historic/Fantasy Minifigures each wave, with up to 5. So there are so many ideas and stuff they can make and if they would really make no Castle (and as D&D is fantasy, they would have to skip that too) they still have western, pirates, vikings, romans, egypt, greece etc. Vampire Knight, Goatherd, Barbarian, Harpy and Mushroom Sprite in Series 25 Falconer and Orc and Rococo Arstocrat in Series 24 Yellow Castle Knight and Green Dragon Costumes in Series 23 Troubadour, Snow Guardian, Night Protector and Forest Elf in Series 22 Centaur and Ancient Warrior in Series 21 Tournament Knight, Pirate Girl and Viking in Series 20 Fright Knight, Mummy Queen and Monkey King in Series 19 Dragon Suit, Cowboy Costume and Unicorn Guy in Series 18 Roman Gladiator, Elf Maiden and Battle Dwarf in Series 17 Ice Queen, Desert Warrior, Scallywag Pirate, Rogue in Series 16 Frightening Knight, Tribal Women, Flying Warrior, Faun and Queen in Series 15 If they really wouldn´t. But as mentioned above I would expect at least one Castle/Fantasy-Minifigures regardless. As @Accio Lego mentioned above, it doesn´t need to be a Knight, there are so many civilians they could make, or a wolfpack bandit with updated torso, leg printing and shield. All of this of course will only matter if the next series is even a normal one, could just aswell be another licensed ;). -
Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
I would guess it will be able to hold maximum two figures, in the end it is a winter vilage set and as such would have to be in scale with all the other buildings. And as mentiones before, I would expect that the ballon is flying over some building, where it is attached to - or a tree if they go for a log cabin in a winterly forest, which would still be my favourite version. Though, if they want to include it in the village, probably some other building is more likely to happen.
