    I don´t think they will approve that one, since they have castle Sets in Production and normally don´t allow you to use IPs they already use themselves, and I would think it will be same with inhouse-themes - same as they don´t approve modulars for instance.

    Yeah I was actually pretty much surprised that many here thought of a Joust Set for the next Set as that is something I didn´t had on my list at all. Still would think they could do a wolfpack hideout, since they already brouhgt them back. But guess only Lego knows what they are working on.

    Well if we look at the piece count, I doubt it will just be the balloon and after all there needs to be something underneath that lets him fly ;). So yeah, I would guess we will see a building and above that one is the balloon.

    I couldn´t disagree more. Way better than just another building that includes a christmas scene. At least it will be something unique and if done well it has a lot potential IMO.

    Honestly, kinda disappointing, since it doesn´t add that much from having just one Set. Well the gate looks more complete ofc, but looking from the front you will have put a lot of bricks for something you won´t see anyways. Actually might have found the picture and just not realised because they look to similar at first sight. And the Sidebuilds for the Walls are just the same twice. So yeah, there was surely an option to buy and combine two, but I would still not really agree that they were meant to buy two, one works pretty well on its own IMO. I didn´t even realise it was a falcon knight till now. Would have expected it to be a Dragon Knight like in all the other Sets - and the colour of the tent would better fit to that one also. Wonder if they changed the Dragon Knight for an Falcon-Knight late in the design because they rather wanted a friendly competitor, instead of an enemie.

    You can´t really say they will only put so and so much into a set based on another as those decisions have many different factors. And in the end there are enough Sets I could pull up that show the opposite. The old Joust Set had 9 Minifigures, two horses and bardings for 120€, which obviously would be unrealistc nowadays, but for 200€, it doesn´t seem that unlikely to me. The Lion Knights Castle has 22 Minifigs, and costs double the price, so that would be an actual reference. Two Bardings, two horses and a cow, not to mention a lot shields. Now Lion Knights Castle seems to have goten quite a good budget to work with but we shouldn´t forget that the Joust Set could actually reuse a lot of the parts needed. The shields, bardings, civilian and soldier torsos, everything is there already. Of course I would still expect some new torsos and not only reuses.

    300 seems to much to me, since I wouldn´t expect them to build a gate with two towers and walls like they did in the kingdoms joust set. Though of course we never know what they would include in it but I would really think it would be 200-250 max. Well but if we don´t expect an other castle anyways, that wouldn´t be an issue and an set to accompany would probably even sell better if you can buy the castle together with the outpost and siege tower you suggested ;). Interesting, you don´t happen to have the picture you are talking about? I looked it up online, but wasn´t able to find anything. I would guess Lion Knights, to accompany the other two Sets, and the include a King for that faction.

    I don´t think it was meant to be purchased twice, but sure you can create bigger sets out of it then, it is Lego after all ;). But seriously, I also don´t think, that if they would do a joust Set it would be less than 200€ since I would expect some Knights, some spectators, a King and Princess, Horses, Bardings, Tents etc. I don´t think they will pull out a new Set, just because the old one retires, especially not from Creator, which is more a theme where they often come up with new stuff rather than always the same. Sure other castle builds are also something new in the end for creator, but if they would want more castle Sets, then they could aswell make Castle again - unless one of the creator guys is a big castle fan and trys to sneak in castle Sets that way ;). But given they made sets for Pirates (2020) Castle (2021) and Vikings (2022) and didn´t continue with it last and this year, I would guess those kind of sets are done for now, until they come back to them in a few years I guess.

    Not that suprising, since we got the same last year and also would fit to my guess what Sets we will get: The Movie Sets would be the Summer Waven then and The fossil and the Chaos Theory Set the January one.

    Yeah, but Sommer Sets were delayed from many themes in the US and Harry Potter was avaiable everywhere in march, not only in the US. So I do wonder, if they really change the sheldue again, or if the info about January is just wrong.

    Well, since they explained they wanted City space to be after the kids imagination and therefore didn´t set an place where they are located (and not a time either) including City series characters would be strange as that obviously plays in our solar system and our time.

    Would have expected they would stay with March like they did the last years, but doesn´t matter that much IMO. Anyways, last year we had less than 7 Sets in the winter wave, but this year it were seven (+ a Polybag). If next years wave is as good as this years, would be great. Well likely it is somewhat similar to this years. Some smaller castle parts, like the greenhouses for instance, a buildable figure like fawkes. I do wonder though, what we will get in the slots of last years forbidden forest sets. They could do something new, expand the forbidden forest more (seems unlikely to me) do some other exterior builds like the womping willow or sets for builds outside hogwarts, like another Diagon Alley Set, Hogsmeade etc.

    Well, we got the pig not that long ago, though that one wasn´t recoloured or dualmoulded. So I wouldn´t rule it out completely, though it feels like the internal price seems to high for them to include it. Yeah, but we also already got the goat in two different colours, so a third seems kinda unlikely to me for now. Zoo seems to be an topic Lego doesn´t want to make at least in City (I think there were Duplo Sets) and instead rather do wildlife Sets, which is a topic I don´t really see the goat appearing in, since they would probably concentrate on animals we don´t have at home. We also just had the farm theme, so would be surprised if they would make that one again already next year. Of course it could also always appear in an IP-Set, though none comes to mind right now that I would think they would do next year. Right now Advents calendar would be the Set I would give the best chances to, but you never know what they will do anyways, so guess we will have to see.

    Well, is the subtheme really continung though? I mean, all they have in common is the Jungle Setting and the use of the same Logo (although that is also changed). But everything else, from Minifigures, to colour and Sets design is different, so to me it seems more like a new subtheme in the same setting. Not that it makes that much difference ofc. As for space, it could continue like Stunts did, or not like Wildlife Rescue. Space was quite big though and feels kinda complete as it is, so I would think it is more likely that it ends now. But sooner or later it will be back for sure, though then with a new design. They could still include the brick in a retro space set for instance though. In the end time will show what other uses they have planned for it, but it would surprise me if we wouldn´t see it used by other sets. As far as I heard they are supposed to be chargable, so if that is true, that shouldn´t be a problem.

    Well it is not impossible, sure, best example IMO are the Lions in City, which came in two colours in their sets. But in the end it is more likely they would just use the existing one for budget reasons, especially since they likely would also want to make to goat avaiable in a cheaper set. In the end the goat isn´t an animal that would be included in as many sets as dogs, cats, horses or birds.

    Likely not as long as the grey one is around, but once it is retired I would guess for a brown one next - likely not right after the retirement of the grey one though.

    The Home Alone Set got 5 Minifigs, while in the Fan Design only Kevin and the Gangsters were present and in other sets they also made changes on which figures were included. However Sets with fewer minifigs in the fan design of course have a higher chance to get additional figures, and if those figures need new moulds that will lower the chance.

    From the pictures we saw for the sets, there were sounds added for certain stuff like animals or the volcano, which will be activated by certain other bricks. It does seem unlikely to me that they would already include functions for other sets, aside from those of the wave.

    The question is, if it will be avaiable there - I mean, I would guess that the Brick will have to be programmed to work with the Sets, and another programm if they would want it to work with other Sets - so it might have limited use anyways unless there would be a way to programm it yourself. Eitherway I belive you would probably be better of buying the Set on discount than the Brick itself on Pick a Brick if it shows up there ;). What also does surprise me, is that, since it is a test, Lego is stated above to have said that the sets would be released in March - somtehing that seems pretty unlikely to me, since a test is run to get feedback, and according to that also make changes if necessary. So I wouldn´t ecpect them to have made the decision really yet. Maybe it is the planned release if the feedback is good but then again seems unlikely to me they would communicate something like that with the testers.

    I don´t care much about the films or the set either, but couldn´t say it isn´t well made. Well, me neither, but it is basically printed on the Set ;).

    Well, the smart brick will surely have a high price tag on it, so putting it in the smaller sets would just increase their price to a point where noone would buy it. For the bigger set it would have less impact on the percentual increase.

    With the USC Sets for Star Wars, and Sets of the same scale for Harry Potter and other Themes (that often only get one set) it seems quite probable that this would happen. I am actually waiting for it to happen and am still undecided whether I should get the actual Set. Probably I will skip it and wait for a big, detailed version of it.

    No chance at all - they don´t allow Product ideas based on IPs they are currently selling. So Jurassic Park/World wouldn´t be allowed. However, if you decide to still work on it I am sure a lot people here would love to see the result.

    As I said, it does happen that they show up, like the Blacktron did, but the majority of them doesn´t. I still do wonder why the blacktron did anyways, since it usually would just be produced for a short time and putting it at pick a brick would require logistic space over a longer time period - maybe there were plans to bring it in another set, that was canceled early in the design process? I guess we will never know. The goat beeing out of stock isn´t really surprising. Sure the price is high, but did anyone really think that would stop people from buying it? Especially since it is still cheaper than on Bricklink.

    Yeah, but you are an animal collector, right? So since all animals lately got pretty expensive, it will be the same. The high prices of single animals might not affect you that much but if you buy 50 different animals twice each for instance it is basically the same as someone else buying 100 goats. I certainly do like Lego animals but some are just so insanely expensive, that while I would like to have them, won´t buy them still. The lions were already expensive but if we consider that they are made from several parts and are quite big, their price was still ok for me - and compared to the Elephants they were still quite cheap for instance - sure they were bigger and a higher price was expectable. but still they were pretty expensive. And the more new animals we are getting lately the more expensive they seem to get.
