2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Not impossible but likely it is just a artwork. We have no idea yet when the Ball Machine will release as of yet. But it should still be next year I think. Well, if you count a skeleton, sure ;). Last Castle had two knights and one minifig that looked more like a pirate rather than anything medival. So I would guess for the new one we will get two Knights again, maybe a King, since the Lion Knights Castle is missing one, and one skeletton. -

There are also a lot Black and Grey Parts. The good thing is that all of the brown bricks should be easy to replace - though of course that would be an extra cost. But looking at the list I haven´t seen parts that seem to be rare, as actually at least most of them are even still in production. In the end the really rare parts are the figures. And when it comes to figures, I would be afraid that Gimly would break in the Moria Set - aside from that that one should be fine too. So the real question now is if you can live with having to replace some of the parts for an extra cost I guess. -

Well happy for Herbology but the Tower is a lot money. I mean sure it will be a big Set, but most kids will just end up getting rooms not the castle anymore which kinda is a shame. Fawkes is basically confirmed to be Privet Drive Hedwig Style now with 20€. Book nook is 100€ and Features the Hogwarts Express - well easy skip I guess. 90€ for Marges visit confirms it to me that we will get the privet drive and the Diagon Alley shops are surprisingly cheap with just 100€ - I guess Fortescues won´t be that big then. Book of Monsters for 60. -

The list is after Set numbers, not Price though. But if we take a look at the Sets, there are quite some expensive ones included and I would guess Greenhouses would be a cheaper one. The question is just if it will be a small set in the 20-30€ range or rather above that to let´s say 50€. At least all of this seems possible. But given the other prices we could expect from those Sets I would guess Fawkes is indeed a small Set. Well we might just have to wait for the prices, given for all other themes those were released alongside with the numbers/names it is kinda strange that we didn´t got them for this theme aswell. -

Just to be clear. You want to buy them from Bricklink, or you got an offer to buy those two Sets? Personally looking at the Sets both look great buildwise but the minifigures of the Moria Set just look much better to me, so I would probably go with the mines. But as you said, there is like no chance they will make the Goblin King again, so if you want to have it, probably wiser to go for that one, if you would be willing to buy a 500€ Moria Set in the Future. Though of course it isn´t certain they will make one in the future, and with the Balrog releasing I would rather guess they don´t have it planned for next year. So I guess it isn´t really something that someone can decide for you. Sorry, probably not very helpful ;) -

Well that doesn´t change that they had a budget that had enough rooms for it - and even if the mould was made for Vidiyo, which doesn´t seem likely to me, the set still has to carry the budget to bring it into production. Well they have used CMFs to bring back the goat for instance and be able to use it in other sets afterwards. Also, if a theme brings a part into production every other can use it, it isn´t like they have to ask the designers of the other themes if they could use it - though there is surely someone that has an eye on when the sets would retire, since the second set might keep a part in production which would else expire. -
Wolfpack seems unlikely, since they are more Bandits, and a Castle for them seems pretty unlikely, especially at that size.

Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Black Falcon replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Well of course it doesn´t have to be but that would make most sense since we hadn´t have one for a (short) while now. And really, I could see them doing a scene instead of the whole house, although it seems unlikely to me - but if they do a buildable figure, I´ll eat all my Lego Bricks lol. I mean, Buckbeak and Dobby are both well Iconic within the franchise, something what I just don´t see with Aunt Marge. So there is like no way it will be a buildable figure unless it is a mechanical one where you can actually inflate here as a play feature. I had to look it up honestly, but yeah it is there. Let me rephrase it to a proper greenhouse then, since the Astronomy Tower one is very small. Well, after Hedwig, Fawkes is probably the most iconic creature in the franchise, so it isn´t really surprising to me. I mean it could also be more like Buckbeak or the Patronus (in Style, I don´t think it will be an actual Patronus). Eitherway it was just a matter of time till we see a new one - and I don´t think you can really compare it to Hedweig, who got like ten versions. Wouldn´t be surprised it they make a Basilisk or Nagini or a big Buildable Aragog at some point lol. That seems unlikely to me. And at this point I wouldn´t be to sure that is the name of the Product, though it doesn´t seem that unlikely to me. But if we look at other Sets they are also names Hogwarts Main Tower (which again would be not an impossible name) and the Diagon Alley Set named WQuality Quidditch Supplies and Ice Cream - in that case I just can´t belive that the Ice Cream part is the official name ;). As said above, I don´t think it will be the official name. And as said with the last Wave I think they just dropped the Diagon Alley Part because with double Shops the name would be to long. Especially since the Shops don´t really have short names themselves ;). I hope the Herbology class is a mid sized Set, would be a real disappointment if it would just be 20-30Euro honestly. So about 50€ would be something I expect to make a proper Greenhouse. Fawkes could be anything from 20 to 80€ I guess depending on what they are doing with it. Main Tower will be the most expensive one, so would be guessing 150-200€. Well actually the Diagon Alley Set could be the same price range. Marges Visit depends a lot on how they do it, if they make a Privet drive it would probably be 80-120€ too, which would lead us to a quite expensive wave. I would guess it depends on what Scene it will show. But eitherway there will be a lot Bricks for the structere itself, so I would take it as a rather expensive Set for what we are getting. I am actually hoping it shows some Iconic Scene(s) we already had and can easily skip. I would take that one as granted, yes. -

So I guess I was right that we would finally get the greenhouses in the HP wave. Well with the castle getting a new round that isn´t really surprising. Though I have to say I don´t actually see that many remakes, Or probably it is how you count it. Aunt Marge´s visit will be another Privet Drive, but in the end it is another scene and we get a new minifigure. Book Nook is new. Monster Book was a GWP the last time which many missed so not that sad that we get it again. Herbology Class - well sure we got the class in form of the books, but we never got the greenhouses and I would be really surprised if we don´t see them included here - so I wouldn´t count that one as a remake. Similar thing with Fawkes. Sure we had him, but the last one was a movable Figure. I would love to get one in the form like we got Hedwig in the Hogwarts Icons Set - though that one would not be in the list yet I guess so I guess we will rather get something similar to this years Hedwig sitting on the Privet Drive Sign. Actually surprised that Quality Quidditch Supplies and Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour are in the new Set, since both of them are in the big Diagon Alley Set and I would have thought they will combine an existing Shop with a new one to animate people to buy it. Not complaining though, makes it easier for people to skip it. Anyways good to know that the line continues. Main Tower - well that one kinda was to be expected in this Wave. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

No the Black Falcons and their Shields were reused from the Medieval Blacksmith. Though it seems possible that they shared the budget for it, since both were released in the same year. -
They made three new torsos for the Viking ship though, and even more surprising they also made a new hair mould for that Set.

The Viking Ship had at 3 new torsos and a new hair mould, so it doesn´t seem impossible. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Exactly, why I don´t think it will be inlcuded in the castle. So far there is no date for it as far as I know, and anyways there should be some other Ideas Sets that aren´t released yet but should before the prize machine. -
My bet would be the Lion Knights. Sure we have them in the Lion Knights Castle but that one isn´t affordable for a lot people and the Black Falcons also were included in another Set before (though of course not another castle) Anyways I don´t think they would have a problem with making a second castle for the Lion Knights. Could even see them including a Wolfpack Bandit, since the last castle had only two knights too.

Exactly. As great as building is, I prefer to take my time and wouldn´t want to build a set of this size at just one day. Plus you have to have the time to do this in the first place. Actually, when I think about it I am not actually sure if I would even be willing to spend so much money for just one day of fun ;). -

Black Falcon replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Ok, honestly, that really surprises me. The last one must have been doing very well if they make a new one right afterwards. It is said to cost 120$ so 20 more than the old one so I hope for some more bricks too ;). And more minifigures, though that one seems unlikely ;). Wouldn´t be surprised if it will include Lion Knights this time. -
1$ isn´t 1€, so no idea why that is surprising really. More surprising in that matter actually is that many other sets have the same price in both regions and there were some that were more expensive in Europe than in the US even. My best guess for why normal Sets tend to have the same price and Bricklink Sets don´t is that exchange rates fluctuate anyways so normal Sets are priced taking that into account and with BDP Sets they actually take into account what a currency is currently worth.

Still looks great to me. Would say so far the best Modular they have done. And actually surprised that it works quite well combined with the museum and the Jazzclub. -

I guess you are not the only one, when I saw the building I was really surprised in a positive way. The minifigures however are nothing special, The three kids were expected and fine as they are, Hooch looks good so far, and the inclusion of Wood and McGonagall are actually surprising, but those two are also the two figures that are lacking the most. I can actually live with minifigure legs that are plain in many cases, but plain skirt pieces always look awfull to me. Well I see your point and would partly agree with it but on the other side, the included rooms kinda have to be quite basic if they are just made to be replaced and are just fillers so it doesn´t look empty - and at the same time still work to play with if the other rooms to include in them aren´t bought. Well, I guess if you want to display it, you would display the front in most cases and you won´t see the interior anyways though ;) From a kids point of view I think the new system is great though, since you can put the rooms away and save space, and get a lot more room to actually play with them, than in the previous system. The only thing I don´t like from that point of view is that you always will have to many rooms and not enough space for them. Pretty sure that this one is Eeylops. The two tan "Z-Blops" are Owls, same as the white one in the leaky Cauldron is supposed Hedwig. -

There surely is, but probably not big enough compared to Ninjago and Harry Potter. Though I still think combined with the adults it wouldn´t be the worst selling Lego theme either. And it if would be 500€ (obviously at a bigger size) people would be all over it ;). -
Thank you. Still hoping we will get a proper wolf pup mould one day, but until then I am happy with what we have - which is especially the adult wolf, which looks really good (and actually like a wolf)
