  1. Is Larry the Barista's coffee cup a brand new piece?
  2. So what does the set actually consist of?
  3. Though I am always happy to see diversity in a licensed Lego line, this version of Power Man does nothing for me. Oh, and add me to the list of AFOLs who think the Joker Steamroller looks perfectly good. The new Batplane, however, is simply ugly.
  4. I'd prefer the all-black movie version of the Hydra soldier, but that design is fine too. The more Marvel villains, the better. I will, however, be extremely disappointed if the Cap/Red Skull set does not consist of the latter's custom car.
  5. Yeah, I'd also love to get a version of Thor with his helmet. Also, while I totally get the reasoning behind all of Spider-Man's whacky vehicles, and while I'm sure kids will eat the sets up, it does seem kind of silly and too Batman-ish. Spider-Glider, Spider-Bike, Spidermobile, Spider-Copter . . . What, no Spider-Mech?
  6. I'm a Marvel fan through and through. I love the Bruce Timm animated series(Batman, Superman, and Justice League) and Batman: The Brave and the Bold, but I've never followed any DC comics regularly. The New 52 struck me as idiotic from the moment I heard about it.
  7. I really wish that Riddler was based more on the original BTAS design: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111101031840/batman/images/f/f3/Btas_riddler.gif I also wish they'd give him a proper question mark cane instead of a red crowbar. Flash looks decent, but I'm not a fan of Barry Allen. Well, to be more accurate, I'm not a fan of how DC erased Wally West from existence. Lego's DC line suffers from the same affliction as DC itself---way too much emphasis on Batman over all other superheroes. If the Lego Marvel line was the same way, it'd be nothing but Iron Man sets with Cap randomly tossed in one and Thor randomly tossed in another. The video game's title would be "IRON MAN & Friends" and the cover would consist of a gigantic closeup of IM with a few other heroes way off in the background. Thank goodness that's not the case.
  8. Look at it from Lego's perspective. Their main consumers are, and always will be children, not AFOLs. They're going to go with what they think will sell the most. The 6868-1 Hulk set was very popular, so it makes a lot of sense to make a second one. And hey, we get all-new minifigures of Falcon and Taskmaster, a potentially intriguing MODOK, and a Hulk with purple pants. Maybe the Thor minifigure will come with bare arms to boot.
  9. Also, Lego simply MUST release a Hulk-sized Thanos figure at some point. :D
  10. I'd rather have a new Cap set that came with the Red Skull. Especially if the set consists of RS's car from the first film. I reserve final judgment on MODOK until I see the figure, but in the end, more Marvel villains are always welcome. (The Abomination, Lego, THE ABOMINATION!)
  11. I'd like to see a great big Abomination, Juggernaut, or Rhino figure so the Hulk can finally have someone big to smash. And more female heroes. Storm, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman, Wasp, Emma Frost. Any and all would be welcome.
  12. His beard isn't nearly thick enough for him to be Treebeard.
  13. I'd like to see a Tyrannosaurus tribe(good), Triceratops tribe(good), Velociraptor tribe(bad), and Spinosaurus tribe(bad).
  14. I can't wait to see what kind of tie-in sets there will be!
  15. Ugh. I was completely unaware about that. Shows just how much that company is on my radar. What a shame.
  16. DC Martian Manhunter Supergirl Hawkgirl Hawkman John Stewart The Flash (mass release) Black Canary Huntress Green Arrow Steel Darkseid Doomsday (Hulk size, of course) Brainiac Sinestro Cheetah Gorilla Grodd Bizarro (mass release) Black Manta Killer Frost Silver Banshee Marvel Luke Cage Dr. Strange The Fantastic Four Agent Phil Coulson Spider-Woman Psylocke She-Hulk Ms. Marvel Ant-Man/Giant-Man The Wasp Daredevil Thanos The Abomination The Juggernaut Emma Frost Green Goblin (all new version) The Lizard Kang the Conqueror Baron Zemo The Enchantress The Red Skull Whiplash Ultron Sabertooth
  17. 1) Hulk, hands down 2) Superman 3) Dr. Doom, my favourite supervillain 4) War Machine 5) Wonder Woman 6) Iron Man 7) Wolverine 8) Batman 9) Loki 10) Venom I hope we get some Amazing Spider-Man 2 sets next year. I could use a larger Rhino figure to go up against my Hulk.
  18. I really want to see more female superheroes. Namely She-Hulk, Spider-Woman, Ms. Marvel, Elektra, Psylocke, and Scarlet Witch from Marvel. Also Supergirl, Batgirl, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, and Huntress from DC. Just pop them into sets wherever TLG can.
  19. I really don't like how they gave Superman the classic hairpiece when he doesn't have it in the film.
  20. I'd like to see more Avengers sets in general, perhaps based on the cartoons. One set I thought up tonight while running was: Attack of the Abomination: The Abomination, She-Hulk, Luke Cage, and Agent Coulson. Consists of a truck for the Abomination to smash/toss around, some street items like a bench and a lamp post, and a SHIELD helicopter for Agent Coulson to pilot. $59.95 Canadian.
  21. Hopefully we'll get an Iron Patriot minifigure further down the line.
  22. Creator sets 5868(Ferocious Creatures) and 31004(Fierce Flyer) will make perfect Legendary Beasts for the crocodile and eagle tribes.
  23. I'm loving that Cragger, but I'm going to have to cannibalize one of my HF figures for parts. He needs armour on his limbs.
  24. Thank you for what can only be described as a complete and utter smackdown. I tip my hat to you, Faefrost!
  25. There are Tiger people. And Gorilla and Rhino people for that matter. Go to Papo's website and check their catalog.
