New York Toy Fair Coverage Part One: Hero Factory
Suspsy replied to Aanchir's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Bulk is definitely my favourite. He's never looked badder. -
Great review! I will be purchasing the Dino Defense HQ instead of this set, however, as I prefer the green Tyrannosaurus rex's more realistic colour scheme.

What minifigs are we missing - post your detailed suggestions here

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer Torso: Red with brown gloves. Legs: Black and brown. Head: Confident smile. Headpiece: Brown hat. Accessory: Handcuffs. -
I sure hope we get a Fell Beast set with another Ringwraith and Eowyn!
-
I can't wait to see these sets in stores! I really hope we get a Treebeard set somewhere down the line. An oliphaunt would be pretty nifty as well---they could constuct it along the lines of an Imperial ATAT.
-
Honestly, even if a potential second wave consisted of only four sets like the final wave of Power Miners, I'd be happy. And again, I'd really love to see TLG tackle a Stegosaurus and a Brachiosaurus.
-
I'd really like to see them do an E-Wing fighter.
-
Assuming you own the previous three X-Wing sets, would it be possible for you to do a comparison shot?
-
Rufie should've been the Tyrannosaurus rex!
-
Spinosaurus is the Rodimus Prime to Tyrannosaurus rex's Optimus Prime. He's been marketed in earnest, but in the end, the masses prefer the true dinosaur king. But this is beginning to get off-topic, methinks. There still hasn't been any confirmation one way or the other about a second Dino wave, has there?
-
Seeing as how Giraffatitan is essentially the larger African version of Brachiosaurus, it's at all unreasonable. Jurassic Park fans generally HATE Spinosaurus and the third movie though.
-
The ghost train is my favorite, mainly because it's been awhile since we saw a ghost minifigure.
-
I saw all the Dino sets at TRU here in Ottawa yesterday!
-
That wrecking ball is fantastic! An excellent feat of engineering indeed!

Hello, my fellow Lego fans, With the holiday season in full swing, I urge all of you to donate at least one toy to your local charity. Even a single Minifigure will bring a smile to someone's face. We're all fortunate enough to have plenty of Lego to play with, but there's a lot of children out there who are not. They deserve to have a happy Christmas. Thank you!

That snake mech is interesting, but I'd be much more excited to see images of the snake wrecking ball. Guess those won't be out till later next year.
-
I thought it was clear that Zane's encounter with Garmadon and the green ninja was a dream sequence. And the fact that his white outfit got ruined is another strong indication that he will indeed go green.
-
As well as a Stegosaurus, I'd like to see Apatosaurus or Giraffatitan. The body wouldn't have to be any bigger than the T. rex's; just give it a nice long neck and tail.

I love it when Sensei Wu chews Lloyd out at the end of the last clip. Perhaps he's going to give his nephew a good spanking!

Tyrannosaurus Rex eats Triceratops for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! -
Review: 5887 Dino Defense HQ

Oh, I'm well aware of that one, but it's nowhere near as detailed or realistic as the Dino assortment. Perhaps I am overestimating the potential cost. Oh, and my hat off to you for knowing what a thagomizer is! :) A MOC Therizinosaurus would be a cool challenge, although I'd probably end up using mostly Bionicle parts. -
I really hope there's an awesome snake headquarters in the works for the summer. Needs to have a gigantic cobra-shaped entrance and maybe even a giant python guardian.
-
Yes, it's one of my favourite animals. Would've loved to have seen one in the Atlantis line!
-
I hope we get a new hospital in the future. Preferably larger than the last one.

Review: 5887 Dino Defense HQ
Suspsy replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As much as I adore Stegosaurus, I fear it'd be a difficult figure for the Lego group to pull off. What to do about the plates and the tail spikes? Would they be moulded onto the dinosaur or would they come as snap-on pieces? Either way, it'd be expensive to make, wouldn't you say? I would shed a tear of joy if Lego made a Therizinosaurus.
