  1. I'd much prefer Guy Gardner or John Stewart over Hal Jordan.
  2. I . . . really can't feel sorry for anyone who thinks such insane rumors are legit. Unless they're little children.
  3. Yeah, and I have a "friend" who says we're getting Avengers Tower, the X-Mansion, and Dr. Doom's castle. Each will come with no less than ten minifigures and a macrofigure and retail for under $100. Also, I checked and it turns out the vehicle in the Mr. Freeze/Aquaman set is indeed officially called the Batboat. Nevertheless, I'd still enjoy another version.
  4. No, that was the Batblade, built for traversing ice and snow. The only actual Batboat was 7780, and that was along the lines of a hovercraft. I'd like to see a sleek speedboat similar to the one Aldrich Killen drives in 76006. And yes, a new Killer Croc figure of any size would be nice. Toss in a standard Lego crocodile as a pet for him.
  5. As tired as I am of DC Super Heroes being approximately 96% Batman, I will say that I'd like a new Batboat. We've had two new Batmobiles, two new Batplanes, two new Batcycles, and yet Batman's current naval strength remains pitiful. That little scuba thingy just doesn't cut it.
  6. Earlier this month, I finally crossed off an item on my bucket list by climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa. Kili, for those who aren't aware, is the tallest free-standing mountain in the world at 5895 m or 19,340 feet. Many people who climb Kili choose to bring along items of significance to them. In my case, I brought along my favourite Lego figure, the Hulk. Here he is guarding my rucksack just before we set out from the hotel. Here's a couple shots of me on the summit. And here's the Hulk, standing tall and triumphant on the crop of rocks just behind the Uhuru sign. I would have taken a photo of him standing on the sign itself, but it was insanely crowded on the summit that day. So I reckon this is the highest a Lego figure has ever been. Am I correct?
  7. I would much rather Lego give us characters and sets based on the comics than AOS.
  8. I like 76012 the best because it achieves a balance between fantastic and realistic. Just have to leave off the BTB sticker.
  9. Funny how Leo is the only Turtle not to have a new costume. I love the Leatherhead minifigure. Too bad he comes in the most expensive set.
  10. So here's my latest vision of a Marvel CMF line: 1) Captain America with blonde hairpiece and shield 2) Thor with helmet and Mjolnir 3) Ant-Man with helmet 4) Wasp with wing backpack and stingers(11601) 5) Vision with collared cape 6) Gambit with staff and playing card 7) Psylocke with katana 8) She-Hulk with dumbbell 9) Kang the Conqueror with helmet and laser gun 10) Baron Zemo with sword 11) Amora the Enchantress with lightning bolt 12) Carnage with tendrils(55236) 13) Classic Green Goblin with pumpkin bomb 14) Mr. Sinister with cape and red lab flask 15) Mystique with alternate head and hairpiece 16) Hydra Trooper with rifle
  11. My latest dream CMF lines: MARVEL Captain America without his cowl and blonde hair Thor with his helmet Iron Man Mark III Grey Hulk Luke Cage(adult) Vision Hank Pym Wasp She-Hulk Ms. Marvel Mockingbird Classic Green Goblin Kang the Conqueror Baron Zemo Amora the Enchantress Hydra Trooper DC Battle Damaged Superman Batman Incorporated Wonder Woman in jacket and long pants Martian Manhunter Green Lantern Hawkman Supergirl Captain Marvel Atom Zatanna Darkseid Lex Luthor (Legion of Doom costume) Cheetah Brainiac Sinestro Ra's Al Ghul
  12. Probably the best-known X-Men villains after Magneto are Mystique, Sabertooth, and Juggernaut. As many of you know, I'd like the latter in toy form the best, but Mystique would be almost as welcome.
  13. According to the Marvel Database: Hulk stands anywhere from 7" to 8'8" tall and weighs 1,000 to a whopping 2,400 lbs depending on what persona he takes on. Juggernaut stands 9'5" tall and weighs 1,900 lbs. Thanos stands 6'7" tall and weighs 985 lbs. Rhino stands 6'5" tall and weighs 710 lbs. Things stands 6" tall and weighs 500 lbs. Funny, I thought he was larger than that. Colossus stands 7'5" tall and weighs 500 lbs in his metal form. However, he's never been depicted as big and beefy like the other characters, just very tall and muscular. Meanwhile, over in the DC universe: Darkseid stands a scary 8'9" and weighs 1,815 lbs. That's a lot bigger than I had him pegged for. Although his body is no doubt comprised of much denser matter than a human's. Doomsday stands 8'10" and weighs 915 lbs. So yeah, with the exception of Colossus and maybe Thing, I'd say all those guys deserve to be macrofigures.
  14. The Hulk is hands down my favorite Lego figure. He resides on my desk right in front of my monitor, he's accompanied me to work (I'm an elementary teacher), and he's travelled to exotic locations with me. I love how massive he is and honestly can't imagine Lego doing him any different. The character in the comics stands more than seven feet tall and weighs over 1000 lbs, after all. Juggernaut isn't merely a muscular man in a magical suit; he's a HUGE man in a magical suit. He's consistently been portrayed as roughly the same size as the Hulk, so a macro figure is in order for him. Same goes for Abomination and Rhino. And yes, Thing deserves to be that size too. Colossus, OTOH, would work better as a standard mini figure. As for Thanos, it ultimately depends on how he's portrayed in film. Personally, however, I'd go with macro.
  15. Really don't care for Magneto's new threads. Storm looks nice though. Fingers crossed that the Blackbird will be fighting the Juggernaut.
  16. Nah, the Hulk knows that it's wrong to hurt Santa Claus. Elves, however, are fair game . . .
  17. So is there anything really stopping Lego from releasing a CMF line consisting entirely of Marvel (or DC, I suppose) super heroes? (Besides wanting to make more money by releasing them in larger sets)
  18. Benny's spaceship may well be the most beautiful Lego set I've ever seen in my life. :D
  19. You haven't posted photos of your customs, so I can't tell whether yours are better or not. Either way, Lego can't be faulted for making mini figures other fans might very well enjoy. And while leg printing on Flash would be nice, it's not like that's a standard feature on mini figures. This is where you cross the line. Personally disliking the sets is fine. I personally think the Spidercopter is ridiculous too. But you have no business speaking for everyone else. Some folk here might very well be looking forward to them, either as is or for the parts. A little imagination could spawn countless awesome vehicles from the Spidercopter. And you definitely don't speak for kids. Anyone who's paid attention to Spider-Man toys over the decades knows that vehicles have always been a major part of any line. Who says Lego doesn't? Actually, they generally do. That's why Iron Man toy lines have so many Starks. That's why Avengers toy lines have so many Hulks. That's why Transformers toy lines have so many Optimus Primes and Bumblebees. If anything, I think Lego has done a very good job of balancing popular heroes with lesser known ones. As a Marvel fan, I'd buy the hell out of a set containing She-Hulk, Mockingbird, Ms Marvel, Deathstrike, and Madam Viper, but my personal preferences certainly do not speak for the masses. Neither do yours.
  20. Film failure aside, I'm really surprised we haven't gotten a GL minifigure in the main line yet. Perhaps this summer?
  21. HULK WAS VERY GOOD THIS YEAR! HULK WANT MORE PRESENTS---NOW!!!
  22. "Too hard" should never, ever apply on a Lego forum.
  23. HULK WAS VERY GOOD THIS YEAR! HULK WANT MORE PRESENTS---NOW!!!
  24. I love how Spinlyn can dangle from a line of webbing. I'd say she's the scariest Lego figure to date. One could make a horror film of her creeping around Lego City and devouring citizens. The rhino bike is nice too.
  25. I really like the look of the newest Batmobile. The previous two were fine, but it's nice to have a more down-to-earth version without the giant bat tailfins.
